Exactly and insurance should cover most if not all all that, holiday insurance will cover the flight home, and life insurance will cover the funeral, and like you say a good full service burial funeral costs around 10k, an average cost of a funeral is only 5k. There's other British people missing, my first thoughts would be to hand the charity go fund me over to their parents because Debbie now knows and understands how heartbreaking it is to lose a child in that circumstances. My heart goes out to her, I lost my own son, it was such a shock to my system and I was so distraught that I couldn't even talk to or see anybody for months. It took me every bit of strength to even get out of the car and walk down that aisle seeing my child's coffin. Exactly and insurance should cover most if not all all that, holiday insurance will cover the flight home, and life insurance will cover the funeral, and like you say a good full service burial funeral costs around 10k, an average cost of a funeral is only 5k.

There's other British people missing, my first thoughts would be to hand the charity go fund me over to their parents because Debbie now knows and understands how heartbreaking it is to lose a child in that circumstances. My heart goes out to her, I lost my own son, it was such a shock to my system and I was so distraught that I couldn't even talk to or see anybody for months. It took me every bit of strength to even get out of the car and walk down that aisle seeing my child's coffin. To this day I'm still suffering and I'm finding this unbelievable that she wants the original go fund me to keep taking donations!!! That saddens me so much, everyone spent free time to help the family out, I'm actually embarrassed to read this and it wouldn't matter if it was Jay or any other child, this is shocking and so wrong. I understand why people get so angry. I hope she's made to give invoices of where money went and how much. I hope she's not planning to keep money that's left over either, other charities could do with it. Going through that as a mother my first thoughts would be so grateful I had theat help to stay there and fly my child home, even a small funeral if the family really can't afford one, but she shouldn't want to or be allowed to keep what's left of the Go Fund Me for herself, if that's what she's planning. Now she knows what it's like to lose a child your next thought would be to help out another family that need assistance for their child.

Disgraceful request , I feel for her family and lost 19yr old son, but he made a series of reckless decisions whilst in Tenerife which sadly contributed to his young life demise. I and many people who have lost young family members often due to tragic road accidents, families have had to finance their final send off from their personal resources not a GoFundme thank you very much fund. The kindness of strangers can be stretched only so far. Am sure residue from 50k will afford Jay a great send off. May he RIP but time move on from this tragedy.
