Random question... If the tune in playing on the left deck and your crossfading it to the right, which side do you press the sync button on, the left side or the right side?
@@logisticalstyles Thanks. Can I ask one more thing... if you use smart sync, does it still work roughly the same, without editing beat grids? Im unsure why people need to edit them, it seems like too much hassle, wasting too much time for every single mp3!
@@reflux043 Beat edit is necessart if the beat markers are out of place. The software occasionally places beat markers in wrong place and if you dont fix them your mix will be a mess.
Yes, Serato's key lock doesn't handle bass very well. When you play songs with a lot of bass and just have the basic key lock engaged you can hear the bass breaking up even with the smallest variation in pitch. Pitch n Time doesn't have issues with bass.

On the right side. You hit Sync on the song you want to bring in.

Can you use sync in Scratch Live?
I don't think Scratch Live has Sync. I believe it was introduced with Itch when Serato began supporting controllers.
