- I finally saw Michaels new Make Market sublimation sheets at the store, so I picked them up to test them out and see if they worked! I compare them to Cricut's Infusible Ink. I make 3 projects in this video.

Thank you! I have resisted these because I have had such horrible experiences weeding the cricut sheets. Now I'm excited to give them a try. The sheets are a great option for those of us who don't use infusible ink enough to justify the expense of a printer.
Yes!!! I agree! I have struggled a lot with the Cricut ones in the past, so I was really happy to have great luck with these!
Hi, love that you are testing products and give all of the information. What you are getting is not ghosting. Ghosting is when the product is not don't drying/sublimating and you lift up the image then try and put it back down and it doesn't line up. So therefore it makes a blurry affect, essentially the pattern shifting and transferring to another part of the project.
Through trial and error (cause we are all there, until we figure it out) your blurry image can be bc the item is too hot. Or you didn't tape it tight enough. Or not have enough pressure. It's hard to get it when the item has curves.
I usually do those in the toaster oven. Just a few unsolicited suggestions. Again love your stuff and positive attitude.

Great video, short and to the point, but super informative. I was going to do water slide, but I have a heat press similar to this, and this seems easier. 🤭

I'm glad you tried it out! I Wasn't sure if I should use the mug press but I see it works! I bought one and wasn't sure if I should put it in the mug press.
Really love the clear mug, but I would prefer it to be the size to fit in the mug press

This is a great demonstration - thank you for testing these materials! I haven't seen the sublimation sheets in store yet, but now I'll be on the lookout! I love the effect of sublimation, but haven't yet invested in a sublimation printer, so I love using infusible ink. Nice to have some additional color options and patterns now!
Yes!! It is nice to have these as an option since it's an investment to get an actual printer. It took awhile for these to get in my Michaels stores for some reason!

I can’t understand why you didn’t cut the sheet to size on your Cricut before placing it on the square coaster
Can you then sub an initial on top of the black and white floral?
@debbiemarchbanks, maybe you could use an infusible marker to draw the initial on the sheet?
May have less ghosting if cut closer to size of coaster and not as much overage on sides. Idk. Everything turned out nice tho

She didn't use any vinyl...it was all sublimation ink. I think she mentioned the mug was one of their sublimation blanks.
