Thank you for this tutorial. You are so clear and concise in your explanation. I’ve been curious to try sublimation but didn’t want to invest in a new printer. 😊
I typed in sublimation paper just as you shown on the screen, and the only thing that came up was customization sublimation paper. Stating that if I uploaded they were printed and shipped but I didn’t see any of those patterns showed.
Unfortunately, since this video was published, Bright Star Crafters has recently changed their business model, and they no longer sell these sublimation sheets. You can find similar pre-printed ink sheets at lots of other retailers, though, including Amazon (search "Sublimation Ink Sheets"), Heat Transfer Warehouse (WALASub Pattern Sheets), and Etsy.
so just to be clear, you used a sublimation T shirt, correct? thanks so much...great video! Loved how you showed using BOTH pieces of the material for the mugs! I don't like wasting the expensive material!!! LOL. So cute!
Yes! For sublimation, you want the shirt to have at least 50% polyester content. The one that I used here is a Cricut brand shirt that is 95% polyester. : I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! :)
Oh so awesome 👌 Thank you for this video I'm looking forward to seeing what other's you have 💕 Do you happen to have a video how to do the shirts with the heart & name 🤞🙏😍
Would I be able to print a water proof sticker decal using regular eco tank printer and adding it to the sublimated tumbler after this step? And then add epoxy to seal the decal?
HI, What heat press do you have, I just received one and there was not a manuel with it and I am trying to figure out what setting to to use for 20 oz tumblers and 16 oz tumblers. I am new to doing tumbler andmugs
The company that I used in this video was Bright Star Crafters, but unfortunately, they recently stopped selling them. You should be able to do that! Just make sure that the ink you use is actually waterproof so it doesn't run when you apply the epoxy. :)
I'd seal any sticker to be put on under epoxy.

I have a no-brand one that I purchased off of Etsy (which is no longer available), but this one on Amazon looks to be very similar! amzn.to/3Ur4m4y

Could I use the same process with a sublimation oven?
Absolutely! Infusible Ink and pre-printed ink sheets work great on mugs and tumblers in a sublimation oven!
