Welcome to another episode of The Eight Nine Garage. In this episode, we jump through some hoops to get the cooling system in top working order. We start with a new Spectra radiator. Next we put together a junkyard system using a Taurus Fan, BMW dual temp sensor, and a Volvo relay. This creates a very effective system, which is a proven winner. Comment below - whaddya think? I swapped my 92 GT with an sve radiator and dual fan. It is an awesome modification, but I can’t find where to mount my stock coolant reservoir. 😔 I feel like zip tying it to something. 😂

I used to sell these setups on Ebay, and quite a few went to XJ owners.

Should of just grabbed a contour fan from the junkyard best bang for your buck hands down.
I would have, but the junk yards around here seem to never have Contours. I do want to try one out though.
I am looking for the same volvo fan relay and fuses and wiring harness. Do you happen to recall where you got them? I can find the relay, but not the wiring harness containing the fuses.
I have found all of mine at the wrecking yard. If you need a list of Volvo's they came on, let me know. Most of them are located at the top of the fan shroud, but Volvo moved them around on a few various models.

I'm running the first Gen SVE and it keeps me 165 degrees in the summer and barely turns on in the winter lol. Oh yeah and I bought the Ford Contour SVT dual fan set up. PSA. For everyone. Buy 40 amp relays not 30s mine melted the 30amp ones. I had to run one for each fan and used a Flex a lite fan controller etc

Good info... that Contour dual fan piece is a great one too. So hard to find here though. I do think LMR sells them new now though.
