Did u find it hard to take off? Also I found it very difficult to distinguish between front and back rails...I installed and not sure still if it's correct lol
@@xuanzhang8808 Hey, this is off topic. I wanted to install for the same purpose, I wonder what Kayak did you purchase, and do you need additional rack to hold the Kayak on top of the crossbars?
@@w8803425 I bought a hobie compass and it's a heavy kayak. I put some insulation tubes on the crossbar to provide more friction and padding and then strap the kayak upside-down. Typical two straps, bow and stern tie down. Don't use saddles or J rack cause they will make the kayak too high from your roof. Two downsides of OEM crossbars, first its shape is not exactly straight/flat, second the rear crossbar is little too far ahead which makes loading more difficult.
Just bought some - thanks!
No problem !
Can you let us know what is the length of each of the OEM crossbars? So we can compare to aftermarket (Yakima and Thule) crossbar lengths. Thanks!
Sure I’ll check

It’s actually very easy to take off if u use a drill or impact driver like I use. As for difference of front and back, it’s the same I believe.
Can you send me the part number for those please. Thanks
What webite did you order the rail and crossbars from? My dealer wanted $1000
A lot online websites just search OEM Acura parts. I bought the rail and crossbars to hold my kayak last week total over $700(shipping costs a lot!).
