Trying out the new camp chef pizza oven. It’s can make a 12 inch pie. The oven is 14 inches I believe but the opening is 12 inches. Takes about 5 minutes or so to make it. I preheated on medium high for 10 minutes to get the stone where I wanted.

I did not brine the turkey beforehand. Injecting with seasoning will add flavor and make it more juicy. Injection is Creole Butter and seasoning is Tony Chachere creole seasoning. I use peanut oil to fry. Heat oil to 350 degrees and turn off burner. Slowly put turkey in. Once in turn burner on and try to keep temperature at 350. DO NOT WALK AWAY. Oil can heat up fast. Always keep an eye on frye...
