I made the meatballs today. Thanks for this inspiration. I used chanterelles, leeks, red and yellow peppers, garlic, onions, celery, zucchini and smoked tofu. As spices: marjoram, smoked paprika powder, hot paprika powder, mace blossom, 1 teaspoon mustard and lemon pepper. For my tomato sauce I used rosemary, oregano, turmeric powder, soy sauce and fresh basil as well as pepper and salt. Heavenly good! Thank you!
I made this and it was SO GOOD! My non-Vegan husband and 6 year old ate this and thought it was really yummy. My 6 year old doesn't like mushrooms but she ate about 3 of them. My husband doesn't like tofu, but he ate around 8 of them. I ate the rest. I just bought more mushrooms and tofu to make it again. Thank you for this awesome recipe.
Yet another wonderful recipe and so adaptable...i.e. Thai style with ginger, lemon grass, chillies and coriander with a soy/sesame oil dipping sauce. Indian style with garlic, cumin, chillies and coriander with a curry sauce.Hungarian style with paprika and a vegan sour cream dressing.....my goodness....so many meatballs, so little time !! I had been vegan for 3 years until I was pregnant with my 2nd son. I was craving meat and I gave in. For 2 years after my son was born, I have been struggling to get back into vegan/Plant-based foods and it's not Bec I don't believe in animal welfare I do, but my driving force to being vegan was to eat healthily. My struggles, now I know, was because of sugar and I just ate like a vacuum to find that satisfaction and satiety until I stumbled into keto and learning to go against sugar. I may just have started (day 1) with it and it helps me feel satisfied and your recipes look so doable (dare I say it, easy) and so very creative that I'm excited to try them. I just made these. Divine! I didn’t have any evoo so I had to use truffle oil. Even my son loved them! He smiled & put 2 thumbs up. He usually doesn’t like anything like this but I didn’t tell him till after he told me what he thought. 😂🤷🏼♀️ They are delicious for sure!

I made these last night and they were amazing!! Im not really a tofu fan but these were seriously good.. 2 mistakes i made one was making the first few balls the size of tennis balls!! Large hands have some disadvantages 😆 the second was i had a man moment and forgot to let the mixture rest for 15min so was a little crumbly... Hevenly your recipes are so delicious i might turn into a vegevore!!

Thanks for another good recipe. I added some miso, parika powder and tomato puree for a bit more meatiness and they went down a treat in tomato sauce with some pasta. I'll make a double batch next time and freeze a load for quick mid-week meals.
The recipe looks really good, gonna try it out this week. Some tips: Crumple the baking paper into a ball first, then it's way easier to stuff it into the tray. Also pressing down on mushrooms with a tamper or other skillet makes them release way more water quickly - just gotta be careful not to scratch.
God, if your planning to do video’s about meat substitutes, please get it right. If your replacing meat then it is a vegan or vegetarian dish, not a keto dish. If you take real meatballs out of spaghetti squash, that doesn’t make it a keto dish. Just because the keto lifestyle includes low carb, it’s distinguishing nourishment is high fat from animal meat. That is what makes it a keto dish. There is no such thing as a keto dish that is meatless unless it’s replacing a high carb with low carb. In the video we are referencing that is not the case.
I love your channel and your recipes. It inspires me to eat this way in addition to raw vegan foods (not so many fruits though). This is super healthy eating.
You can also use carrots in place of tofu or walnuts, etc. (chopped in a food processor to create the right texture) I’ve also make these with eggplants instead of tofu. I love all your recipes, you’ve helped me so much in learning vegan keto recipes… thank you.

I made these today!! yum I used a mix of Brazilian nuts, pecans and macadamias instead of tofu (50 grams of each) plus the ground almonds that came in the recipe They turned out incredible and delicious! This will be my recipe for burger patties! Great taste and texture
