If your tail begins to fail going up or gets a fault the smartest thing to do, before it's stuck all the way down like this, is to pull the fuse.
Every time you activate a leaking hydraulic system it loses more fluid. Act before you have to do the project in this video.

Actually that fuse is for the fan, light, latch, etc. Better would be to disconnect one wire to the hydraulic pump motor, simply pull the wire from the spade connector on the motor behind the panel.
