Your a Brave man I've got a 08 sienna with po746 trans code and they want between $4600. to $5000. to fix it. Its in good condition otherwise. I think these shops know its something simple and they just want some quick easy money ! Did your rebuilt last ?

@@fixchanics9969 I took my van to 3 different shops and all 3 told me different problems relating to my van. How can anyone trust them ?
One guy told me the bands where bad because the forks broke.
Another guy told me the drum seals dried out & cracked and causing pressure loss.
The last guy told me the clutches where burned out because of over heating.
All 3 just drove the van around the corner and they want to do a complete rebuild?
None of them even checked for codes or even suggested that the solenoids could be bad?
Meanwhile I flushed the oil in the pan & the trans is running better ? Its still flaring from 1st to 2nd. I'm gonna drop the pan and test and clean SL1 SL2 SL3 solenoids and see what happens?
