Like your material, but you seem to have way too much gear to be flying solo if that's what we're all supposed to be believe. 3 pairs of shoes? For 2 days? Really??
No intro, no outro, no « please subscribe », no L-cut between scenes, just perfect framed shots, scenes continuity and storytelling. Awesome Rosa! PS : I like when you drive and film from the backseat, and turn your head to talk to the camera, it feels like we’re in the car and you’re taking us on the ride. 😊
Rosa, you are an inspiration, courageous and you make interesting videos! Does make for good entertainment and gaining the knowledge you share. Take care, blessings and wishing you the most awesome adventures, young Gypsy Woman🤗👍 travel in peace.
Thank you, Rosa! Your videos are really helping me now as I try to overcome a 600-day depression and paralyzing fear. I'm Ukrainian and ever since Russia has been doing this to us, well, you know... Your videos remind me that there's still a different world out there on the planet. Cozy, like your car. And peaceful, like a sunrise in the mountains. With alone girl singing behind the wheel. It gives me a reason to continue living and dreaming. Thank you, Rosa! ❤
Rosa has a calming peace that is to be cherished. Follow and lecture about the war. Prayers, respect - words are not enough. So grateful Ukraine has stood firm and wish the world would do more to help. You guys are rock stars. 🐺
Love this. I am watching Rosa's videos for the 1st time, as a 53 year old natural "freebird" as I've been called..and also an American/Ukrainian. The past 2 years since the war has been a soul searching period for me. At this moment, to know that there are others with similarities out there, and the moments we connect, whether it's in person, or not, matter. 😊
@asthetic_artcrafts, I just said a prayer for you. I hope that you are doing well. Take care of yourself and just know that Father God is only a breath away. Call unto Him.
Rosa and 9 random guys in a fire lookout, could be the plot of a Disney movie (or a horror film) 😊 Those creamers are a great idea for hot chocolate, when my kids were little they drank from them like little teacups in restaurants 🍵 It was good to hear that you took the longer hike to keep Elrond safe, you're such a great mom to him! 😊
I'm happy to see that you had a good, wholesome, and safe time out in the mountain lookout. A person has to be use to being alone, with silence and nature, and the view was perfect. Being prior service, doing field exercises and living off the land can be challenging but it also has it's rewards as well. Can't wait to see your next video, safe travels and be safe out there.
I see many on the road videos from various influencers, but I must say you are the most genuine of them all. Your honest approach to what you love is inspiring and addicting to view, keep it flowing, most importantly keep your butt safe.
What a cool place to spend 2 days alone..... The next people will love the lights you brought..... As you know by now, your Phillies finished off the Braves again ♥
That fire lookout is so cool... I have never had the opportunity to stay at one. I have stayed at several AT style shelters, and a few abandoned structures, but none compared to that fire lookout. I would have definitely stayed there a few days. Also, nice work on the lighting, I am pretty sure all will enjoy that who use the cabin in the future. Thank you again, and I hope all is well.
Love how much effort you put into finding alone time, we all hate crowds. Fantastic scenery shots and it was a nice reward to get the last day there filled with sunshine and the mountain view. Your posts just get better and better. What memories you will have for a lifetime.
I watched this one 3 times already. You gave us so many things to notice. I focussed on your sound editing more and more each time. SOOO well done. Flawless. I kept watching the process and the progress of the puzzle, the wood levels, the water bottle levels, all the little "offerings" that people leave there, the Sierra Nevada IPA :) the journal saying that you can't see the sign for the spring on the tree unless you're walking back uphill (so I was looking for the sign on a tree in that part of the video haha). John Prine (Just played Angel From Montgomery last week. Happy Birthday, JP, RIP). .... Ok....your foreshadowing the stunning shots of Mount Hood the next day was awesome, and the cliffhanger at the end. So good!
Wow, thank you! This one definitely took longer to edit them most ❤️ and I did find the sign (didn't show it) but it didn't help lol I think the trail was just too wet to safely navigate!
This lookout is Devils Peak, I have spent many nights in this LO! I have hiked the trail once, and driven the road several times. There used to be a camp ground called Kinzel Lake below the LO.
That must be an awesome place to hike to and camp out there 👍✌️🍀 Great video, and awesome music choices 👌 John Prine will be missed dearly. Seen him play live in many venues. The most memorable was Red Rocks CO. Thanks for sharing your adventure ✌️
Wow, I hadn't noticed how much your subscriber count has increased in the past few months! Well deserved, Elrond & Rosa! Thanks for taking us on another amazing adventure with you.
Nice creative simple way of showing nature and the ability to leave tech behind for a real life adventure. Kudos to you young lady, you remind me of my youngest of three daughters, adventurous, strong, willing and giving, smart and beautiful (which is always a perk). So nice you left the cabin better than you found it. I'd bring up paint and work on the interior to make it brighter and another layer of water resistance. That's what I'd leave. God bless and please continue sharing. SW

I discovered your channel about two months ago, and you’ve quickly become one of my favorites. Love this episode. I have visited lookouts on the AT, but I’ve never been in one so roomy. Just another thing to add to my bucket list. Thank you.
Wow awesome lifestyle wish I could find a spot like that in the Sierra Nevada area would make a great art watercolor studio, the rain and fireplace would definitely add to the ambiance. I would use the rain for the watercolor paints. Be safe out there Rosa. ..Don’t stop exploring !
Wow I was actually near Lost lake on October 9th for my birthday, I was being stalked so i had leave camp that night. Becareful out there. Thanks for sharing
My first time to see your video trip. I don't think I could go out on my own. Bears? Cougars, Bigfoot🙄 But it was fun watching you. I'll look out for more of your videos. Cheers!
Your lights made the lookout so charming an cozy. Happy you got the place to yourself. Very smart to catch rain water. You’re truly experienced and prepared, kudos. You’re a lumber “jacky”? Dat sunrise, view and bird sounds, amazing 🤩 ❤❤❤
Hi Rosa good to see you again 48 hours is a long time alone in a abandoned cabin the cabin looks nice and picefull and relaxing love your personality and your beautiful smile and eyes and your beautiful hair i wish i was there with you sang some songs and have a great time playing games and i would cook dinner yes i love to cook bye 👋 for now see you on your next great video really enjoyed it very much stay safe and take care my dear sweet friend 🌹🌠♥️

Rosa, your composition and framing is EPIC. All of your shots play beautifully with the thirds 🥰🥰You have a background in it? You would be awesome in filmmaking and photography 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 What don’t you know how to do?🤣
Hey Rosa! I just discovered your channel. What you do is amazing! I relax at the end of the day, have my supper while watching your videos. It's just so calming, and awesome what you do. I recently been thinking of doing the same lifestyle as you do. I'm 35 from Maine, USA. I just got divorced of 5 years, and moved to a another part of town where I don't know anybody. I also have no friends in the area. I have no kids, no pets, and my mom-dad have deceased. I just want to buy a van, and figure out this lifestyle. I want to escape Maine and travel west. I would love to travel with you, if your looking to adopt a companion! 😊
You are like my soul spiru=it, I relate to you soooo much, when you said you had brought something else up... I immediately thought, 'solar powered fairy lights' and was excited to see I got it right! i was unsure of who you are and the caliber of your character, this being the first of your vids ive seen. When you talked about putting thelog on the fire, it put menin mind of David Allen Coe, another fave of mine..... great vid, im jealouse... Been a while since i solo'ed all around the Sierras, etc. Rock On girl ❤
If you have never been camping in Oregon, you are missing out! When I lived there, I found a set of lakes up on Mt Jefferson that were right on the edge of a well used trail. Fortunately, most that hike those trails, are just there for the hike of the trail, and from my experience were not really interested in to much of the surroundings. Not that I was unsociable, but if I wanted to be around people when I was camping, I could have saved myself several miles of walking! Thanks for videos like this Rosa, They let me flash back 20+ years to when I was hiking and camping in Oregon.
My band's third album has a song called Adventure Girl. Yep, it reminds me of "you" Rosa, my favorite UA-cam adventurer! Thanks for the videography, narration and dedication on all your inspiring excursions!
So does the logbook have a section with dates the chimney was cleaned and instructions to inspect it inside? Seems to me that would be important in a firetower, abandoned or not. Since many people use the stove and actual use is a mystery maybe someone should devise a mirror and light to look up the pipe for built up creosote. Dried out boards would light up like a stuck match. Decades ago I installed a very similar boxwood stove on the back porch, it was ok but not great burn time.
I can't say in words, just how much fun that looked like, I was really getting into backpacking before financial issues hit me, not to mention physical issues, I was such an avid backpacker for a couple years, and I haven't even been hiking in over a year. But what you just did there, omg it makes me homesick, most people use homesick for actual home or hometown, for me it's being out there alone like that, I miss it sooo much. But thankyou for giving me a glimpse of heaven . You are sooo lovely and sweet 😍 and wow what a beautiful view in the end 😍
I think you’re very brave hiking and staying out alone! You obviously know what you’re doing. Your videos are great in every way. I get to see places I won’t ever visit. Do take care won’t you! From a Mum whose daughter often travels in her van in U.K. 🥰🙅♀️🙅♀️
Interesting with a wood stove blazing, with a cook top you still used your stove. Habit or some reason? Did you bring the bow saw or was it there? Way more efficient than an axe. That reminds me of the cabins all over new zealand forestry land, rules were restock wood, clean up and anything food you don't want to carry out someone might need it. Looks like a great place and the roof didn;t leak.
Just found you!! So true and real! And naturally very beautiful and unique. I admire your bravery as a woman to go out alone!! Far too few women today would even consider it. Much love from upstate New York.
Rosa - I just recently doscovered your channel. Knowing the time and effort it takes to record & edit a video - I am highly impressed. Your angles, movement of camera/phone and perfect timing and framework is impeccable. New Subbie!! Stay Safe - 😘❤
I’ve started watching you recently and have been loving every aspect of your videos, the simple life. You’re truly living my and many others dream! Your videos keep me motivated and I just love to binge them all cozied up in my room. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life! Love from the mountains of Virginia ❤
Rosa….just found your channel and subscribed. I saw how many nice videos you have. Great that you are living the life of traveling and seeing this beautiful land. I like this video because I was a fire lookout in a tower and really loved it. That tower really is in bad shape. Wish I could have stayed there with you. Cozy inside with the wet rain outside. I could tell you have done much camping. You left the wood stack inside so perfect when you left. Also I noticed how clean you left the place, much better than when you came. If you are ever in Joseph, Oregon look me up. Keep enjoying the good life with new experiences every day. Keep safe. Thanks for sharing.
Rosa, how sweet of you to bring the fairy lights. Makes it so cozy. The next hikers will love it.
I definitely loved them ❤️ such a nice ambiance

I can smell the dampness hit me when you first opened the door. Awesome video! 😀👍
Heyy Rosa ❤❤ good to see you again with a different type of videos I love it 😊Stay safe 🙋🏽♂️
I can't always sleep in my car 😊 gotta switch it up!
The leave it better than you found it philosophy is awesome and inspiringly beautiful 💚💚💚
I think you’re very brave hiking and staying out alone! You obviously know what you’re doing. Your videos are great in every way. I get to see places I won’t ever visit.
Do take care won’t you!
From a Mum whose daughter often travels in her van in U.K. 🥰🙅♀️🙅♀️
I swear, I think you're related to some Rainbow friends I have in Philly! Great video, and great location!
I mean, I could be! Lol
@@lifeinmyelement Not unless you're a Mackell...
You made the place very inviting!
Glad you had fun.
Cool adventure✌️
Interesting with a wood stove blazing, with a cook top you still used your stove. Habit or some reason? Did you bring the bow saw or was it there? Way more efficient than an axe. That reminds me of the cabins all over new zealand forestry land, rules were restock wood, clean up and anything food you don't want to carry out someone might need it. Looks like a great place and the roof didn;t leak.
The top of the stove didn't actually get that hot! Would've taken wayyy too long to cook on! And the saw was already there 😊
That was really fun Rosa. What a satisfying way to spend a few days ...all the best...Chris🇨🇦
GREAT VIDEO! Listening to John Prine tunes in the wilderness! You are awesome, my absolute favorite channel. Go Rosa!❤
John prine is just the best! ❤️ thanks for being here!!
Thank you for sharing your experiences. We can live vicariously thru your videos.
your gifts to the lookout will be SO appreciated by those to come!!!!!
I would take a couple of good books and leave for the next "guests".
I’ve started watching you recently and have been loving every aspect of your videos, the simple life. You’re truly living my and many others dream! Your videos keep me motivated and I just love to binge them all cozied up in my room. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life! Love from the mountains of Virginia ❤
Great content as always girl! Looks like a fun hangout.
I value my alone time so this is magical.
