The comment section is the best part about this video, people from all over the world showing their support, and, admiration
I have a lot of admiration for people who can live like this. 🇺🇸👍
All you need is your own land to do it with. Land costs money.
I am always happy to see that you are doing well. The cabin is doing nicely in its first winter, your hard work and attention to detail paid off as you seemed warm and comfortable while you were there. Looking forward to next video. Take care and be safe.
Hi I'm from Wisconsin and can relate to the cold, I love these videos and am so impressed at the beautiful job building these shelters, ❤
608, 414, or 715?
This is heaven on earth 🌍 ❤
Great video. A man that REALLY knows his craft. I was struck by the combination of modern tools and ancient workmanship. Wonderful. Thanks.
A very cozy cabin you have built. A few more homey touches will be nice. The snow is beautiful and deep. Love the little path you’ve dug out.
No noise. No people. No traffic. No bills.
Just the sounds of the wilderness
I'd add - no nonsense.
No right to build on land that is not yours.
No bills until the following day, when he has to go back home and recharge all the video making stuff and other toys he has used to make this video... 😉😄
@@donraptor6156 how do you know it’s not his
i like how there is no talking. really lets the feeling sink in
Do you watch "Wilderness Cooking "" ? He is the same and a very good cook.
Will save your life if you have all the tools and spent 3 weeks building it before hand!
Guys, if you have never been in a wilderness, knowing you’re not going to see another human, you have no idea. The most awesome feeling!
I live on 392 acres in the woods of Connecticut and usually go a couple months without seeing another human... I thought that was normal...
I live in Namibia, second least densely populated country on the planet. “Rofkamp” (rough camp), no tents, a gun (protection and supper) and water, is the best way to relax/ spend REAL quality time with my 2 boys! I agree-awesome feeling
I'm from Belgium gott bless you and your family 🎉🎉
I'd bring a decent mattress next time you come back.Looks a bit hard laying on those boards.✌️
I love your cabin the scenery is beautiful with all that snow and the tree's. I look forward to watching your videos. Just all around is breathtaking. Stay Safe and Healthy ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤
🙏🙏
I especially appreciate the fart diffusion system he built into his chair. Genius!
😅😅😅
lol 😂
Oh so that's what that's for 😂
Looks like a cozy place to weather a snow storm
The last cabin I built I had a separate room with vents so when it snowed it was my ice box for game I hunted plus I had a bathroom with a compost toilet
Danke, ich finde das ganz Klasse wie du das machst.👍 Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
Greetings from Manavgat, Türkiye
Hello from Indiana USA and this 63 year old lady.(Had my birthday this month). Thanks for sharing this enjoyable video with me. Yikes 😳😬 that's a lot of snow ❄️😮🎉. Stay safe and warm 💞❤❤❤.
Happy birthday to us both in Indiana 🎉
Happy belated birthday 🎂 🎉
Funny how a video can bring the world together !!
Keep the good videos coming .
Happy belated birthday ma'am
@@golfr604 thank you for your response. You make me smile today 😸
@@RatedRussian thanks for your response. You make me smile 😁 today
The most wonderful thing about wood heat is that it allows the door to be open for fresh air to come in. Your cabin is spartan, but if that is what you like, then that's okay.
This guy seems to have a sore tushy, but h comes up with great solutions to keep going. Wears a pad on behind put a soft sheet on stool. Smart thinking.
Such a beautifully made cabin, so impressive!
Es usted una persona muy ordenada, me encanta.Felicidades!!!
I started with the outdoor boys which I adore but now follow people in Alaska which is brilliant just found this and it’s wonderful and by the way it’s my birthday on the 4th of April and I’m going to be 70 and I’m going on a cruise to Silvard in Norway to celebrate
Happy Birthday!!
Wish I was going with you, always wanted to go to Norway. Be blessed and ENJOY❤❤❤❤. DRB

I like his axe. Wide head and sharp
❤❤THANKS FOR SHARING ❤❤
Great wood stove I really like wood stoves an all the work that goes with it
Now that is living the good life
😊👍🏻
I love you man
Hi there from coastal South Carolina. Love your videos.
Thank you for helping me realize that I am not a man
😂😂😂😂
The thing is the log cabin has already been built. So it wasn’t as difficult as if the cabin hadn’t been built. The rest of the video is about relying on your own experience to get through until you can see the weather change for the better.
That looked like a fun time. Thank you😊
Better lock the door and window for safety measure during the night so that you can sleep peacefully.
I enjoy watching your videos plus I learn something from you. The little seat you made out of the log was brilliant. 😊
I liked it too
I spent a good part of my life doing just that only summer months as a baitfish harvester. I love your cabin. Always adding the little things. Much envy, NW ont.Canada
Maybe make some Nail Boards for your Main Door for the Bears not bang it down. When you leave just put few screws on it and the Nails be facing to the bear.
Windows can use that also if they are big.
Amazing sub zero wood shop. Nice work!
Just found you, fell in love with the cabin and the surroundings. Had to subscribe! You're amazing - very talented and creative. Can't wait for the next video. Peace. ❤🤍💙
Really Fascinating and quite homey! Enjoyed watching!
Great video.
To have a snowmobile means having an address so this guy is just winter camping. Brave soul
What does a snowmobile have to do with an address?
Greetings from mt rainier washington state
Sweet video I enjoyed your video can’t wait till your next one my friend, Stay Safe Always 🦍🦍🦍
The happiest time of my life were 2 summers I spent on my cousins horse farm In WV I was 12 n 13 wish id stayed
I met hermits, drank from springs water so good it made u hard. Sawn visited hermits n their cabins, rode horses skidded logs down to the log truck. 5 miles from the nearest dirt road. I was n my glory.
I'd love to be able to do this. Greetings from Australia.
LOVE YOUR snow - we live in S.W.PA tad north of Pittsburgh we dont get SNOW - I think we had 1 snow fall that was about 2 or 3 inches - SOMETHING happened
This is funny because he has all the electric tools and a camera crew .
I really do enjoy ur content ❤ from Atlanta Ga ❤
Nice job moving the camera around to get great views!!
Интересно и красиво! Спасибо!
Easy life very good
Love this cabin. Do you visit the other cabin where you keep the bees. Looked up Capercaillie as never heard of it. Really interesting. Learn something new everyday. Cheers Lynne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨🙏🏻💙👋🏻
Love your cabin.
Très bien 👍, petite fenêtre avec volets intérieurs porte avec crochet intérieur, mais pourquoi pas une serrure ? Très belle cabane . Manque juste un petit Sauna à l'extérieur tout prêt de la porte d'entrée .
In South Carolina, wish we could see some snow!! LoL 😃
Oh my God, where is this, who are you?… This is amazing.
Should put water on the stove for moisture in side of cabin an for hot drinks
Переезжайте, в Сибирь, всем места хватит!
So........ In the woods, electric tools ?
yes, it’s very convenient and saves time
Boa noite do Brazil
Nice. Peace.
I am sooooo enjoying my luxury comfi-appartement in the big city right now - what's the fun of this.........????
I thought you were going to build a mailbox out of that hollowed out log lol. I love your videos.keep up the good work.
You made me laugh when you used bottled water, when there was 3 ft of snow on the roof???
That meal was 5 star
You got out the aluminum foil, I was waiting for a couple of potatoes!!!!
Very well spoken 👍🇺🇸
He would be a millionaire if he franchised this
Good ❤❤❤❤❤
A COZY NIGHT in the dense forest
It would look so much nicer with a yellowish light. These LED with batteries make ugly light moods
LEDs are available in many colors. These are like natural sunlight. I don't think sunlight is so bad.
Hmmmm....did amazon deliver the food....chainsaw....gas and electricity
maybe i missed it i didn't see any beers
Хороший домик,чисто,аккуратно.Супер.Странно что комменты земляков нету,типа англосаксы и так далее.😂
A friend and I were out snowmobiling and got caught ina whiteout and had to find a place to hold up we came across a old barn foundation that was about four feet deep and open at one end there was a lot of logs and old lumber and some tin roofing so we pulled in there and between our four rubberised military poncho's and the other stuff around aet built a good shelter and the only thing we had trouble with wes a place to make a fire to stay warm but we did manage to get a fire going and staying warm and heat up what food we had which we fashioned we I there for two days and took owre ed's out dug out my truckand trailer and drove home
Wow! real survival
@@alonewithwildlifeyes the wind was the biggest problem it blew about 25-30 MPH the temperature got down to about 8% that foundation was a life saver when we got out we stopped at the first diner and ate two breakfast and four cups of coffee before heading home and I ate two big ham sammwhichs
You need a book...
Keep feeding that fire. Need a bigger stove or do you
Nice
The birch tree that you pulled bark off, should have been used instead of the middling?
Kindaling
Is that a "safety cabin"? Where backwoods skiers, snowshoe people can seek shelter if unexpectedly caught in a bad storm, or just need a rest? Perhaps he is the "care taker"? Making certain firewood, cooking source/heat source is available. If "yes", of course he would have battery power lighting, snowmobile, chainsaws available. He has to move them from one safety cabin to another.
Nice chair made from a log. It even has a fart vent on the side.
Celui-là, il est incroyable ! Quand je pense que Bruno Le Maire voulait mettre à genoux l’économie russe, il suffit de voir ce bricoleur de la nature pour comprendre que c’était pas gagné ! 😅
What worries me is not being alone(too much)its what wild animals like wolves, badgers, big bears are roaming. These things are dangerous!
Me, myself, I'd have all kinds of guns & knives. I scare too easily!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
14:33 This I call a decent load of garlic...
I also want to vacation there with you....I speak Hebrew. Romanian and Hungarian. we understand each other by signs.. please
Cozy life
Those are some big birch trees
The trees need their bark
Thank you.Excellent video
Make that drum, sir, for entertainment in his house
i Think it is Very Cold Here
Just wondering if you have a medical kit on site.?
too cool
Has anybody ever thought that there is a cameraman with heavy equipment filming this? I would not be surprised if about 1/4-1/2 mile away there is an RV in a parking lot with a generator to keep that poor guy warm, dry, with a toilet.
I always thought it was just the one person doing all the camera work. You know, getting off the snow mobile and setting the camera up to shoot him riding along the trail and the like.
Nah dude the guy on the snowmobile is the camera man. He sets up a camera, gets a shot, and then goes all the way back to retrieve his own camera again. The effort involved to give us good content is outstanding.
What kind of shovel you using my bloke?
👍👍👍
he has a lot of light inside that cabin-frpm a skylight or electric?
