- If you've played Albion Online for a long time, you know for a fact that this game is incredibly boring and stale as a solo player. There's almost nothing at all to do other than grind for resources that bots are making super cheap and not worth doing or fame farm in static dungeons to spec up gear you can barely use on your own. Not having friends in Albion Online is pure suffering when compared to other MMORPG's and many players simply quit because they can't find any friends to play with.

When I listened to your story, seems like you have a problem like me, when I were teenagers, you need a wife not friends, and make your memories with her, build a family, understanding each other’s, listening each other and make a family team, but first thing you need lower your ego before get close to a girl because a girl have their girl things. Heyo, I recently started playing Albion and I just wanted to say that of all the videos I watched about this game like guides, etc. Your videos shine the most, in fact, I mostly base on your videos right now. XD and yeah, sometime playing solo is like not playing the game at all.
Bro I had this feeling so many times with MMOs. I ended up just switching hobbies. I main sim racing now and only play single player games or random battle royales with mates

Enough said, I will be a loyal friend if you will be mine. I recently got back into Albion Online and was watching some videos to help me and found you in the process, you make good content in my opinion. I love the work you do even if some think its toxic.
He'd tell you to pass the Discord questionnaire so you could be friends. Then when you likely fail from the 99% fail rate, you'd be deemed incompatible from one metric or another and banned. But GL in case you're the 1%!
Finally watched the entire video. Sorry about the misfortunes in making friends man. Don’t have an answer and don’t think you’re looking for one. It makes sense though, in really anything you have to be even a little “fake” to have any hint of a social life, which is very sad. You’re not willing to do that just to make friends which is fine! But it is what it is. Happy New Year man.

Been following your advice on skinner build. I fill up the journals so fast. I started an island with a house and 3 gamekeepers. With only 3 guys taking three books per day. How do you use all the books you collect when they fill so fast?
If you bought a guild island that's 15 laborers, not 3. If you have a private island this means you have premium which means you have focus so the first builds should be farm or herb plots for crops. Obviously one house isn't enough you're gonna need multiple houses and guild halls to accommodate however long you gather each day.
@@SwoleBenjiShould I have just got a guild island instead? I joined an actual guild, but so far only did stuff with them once and I'm paying them 5% silver tax. They did give me stuff and help me out so it was a wash first time or maybe even came out ahead overall so far. I can't afford to die and lose my gear. I did buy 3 months of premium to see if I would like this game very long. I think playing it without premium is going to be too terrible of grinding until your established anyway. Skinning can only go so far for entertainment. I have recently just started killing everything to make it a little more interesting, but maybe it's not as profitable. I have a lot to learn....Unrelated, If you get time you should check out Ultima Online Outlands. Even though the graphics are old, it still seems to be the best MMORPG there is and I have tried most of them. Been playing MMORPG since the first Ultima Online released in 1997. This is a custom server with very active devs and way better than the retail. Super stable and been running for many years. Free and no pay to win. Haven't paid a dime in a year and half. I also haven't even maxed out my char in that amount of time. Unlocked 17 out of 30 mastery chain links. PVP is everywhere at any time like real life, but the penalties for getting robbed or Pkd are much less loss (unless your not taking precautions holding a valuable item). Way less time wasted running around too once you can teleport. You can mark runes anywhere outside. Also you don't have to be rich or playing long to play a bad guy. You can build a characters basic skills up pretty quick. Chain links and stuff though take a long time, but do not affect PVP much. Houses are not instanced, your house and deco are part of the real game. Another cool aspect none of these other games get. You can get an instanced inn room though starting off. You can't even stand in town without theifs trying to steel from you, but this is what makes it so good. There is always danger, but it's fair. Players online peaks over 3000 sometimes and there is only one server. Not sure it would be much good for UA-cam though unfortunatly. It's pretty much all older chill people because you can't be dumb and play it very well. You do have to use scripts and macros for efficiency, but the game supports it and have the Razor client standard. They block stuff that makes it unfair. Every key on my keyboard does something. So it's more complex. There aren't any bots really, because if you see one, you just kill them and take their stuff LOL. However, you need to use your red char so you don't get a murder count... Anyway that's all off topic. I wish they would make a modern graphics version of that exact game but snowflakes wouldn't want to play it.
I quit yesterday, might come back again in a year or two but if those incoming mmorpg are better not anymore. I haven't deleted my main account yet though.

I was an outcast at school and had only one friend all the way through 7th grade which is about when the video games became popular and my one friend left me becuase I didn’t want to be friends with people who had called me so many names. I stayed like that and got depressed and still am becuase no one is really my friend. I have people who claim to be my “friend” but talk crap about me behind my back. So I stopped trying and just let people be people and stayed my lone wolf says till this day

Very rarely does interests align in friend groups. I know the deep friendship stuff is hard, and it's especially hard to find online. Just be real to yourself, your girlfriend, and the people who matter in your life right now.
"Real" people are rare on the internet. And you're trying your best to be one and it's such a nice thing to see. I'm not a streamer, I'm not a youtuber, got kicked out of my apartment and now live with my parents' house, but I'm not well-off either because shit I live in the Philippines' shitbrick nowhere place. I don't even play in the same server as you since I like the ping in East. There are things you might hate about the things I've said about myself but the thing is, you do just seem like a decent enough person who understands their own faults and interests.
Stay that way. It might be that we're getting older which is why you're feeling this way and all that shit, but continue to do so living your life with your interests and the interests of the people (doesnt matter if it's just your girlfriend) in mind. Just do what you can the best you can and that's it.
That's just life man. It sucks. 99% of us living here hate it too. lol.

you have a channel with good subscriber. And you can edit videos. I suggest to try edit videos for other people. The only new skill you need to learn is how to outreach clients. your are good with research so i think you can do it

I think my major issue with making friends at all on Albion though is literally no one speaks English lol

I think I share same issues, but in the opposite way
I have a lot of goals in this game but are limited by lack of people, a lot of silver & spec. I notice both ends suffer the same problem, suffering from success or from being too poor to play. I think group content is where the game shines but personalities clash and can end up being, if not worse if you don't click.
I imagine myself if I every do get to the point of making it, playing mists & HCE would be very fulfilling and fun, but may not last the entire way. Games & motivations come and go, but for someone like you, you already did everything there is to do.
I plan to stay as long as possible to accomplish goals but at the end of the day the game does suffer from lack of social aspects & feels like a lonely grind, that also may end my playtime someday. At the end of the day, it matters in what you want, I personally couldn't care if my guildmates are right, left winged, doesn't matter since I'm here to play a game, not debate politics. But perhaps that's probably because I am a less established person in a community like this one
For you, why not try opening your own community server, it may not be great to you, and I did notice you have an application-server, which is fine however I think community servers will be more fruitful & actually may be better than an app-system. Ban retards you dislike, and people that are chill you can keep around. Don't even pay attention as if it's your friends, it's your community, it's much more different then being "friends". In a community people can share different beliefs but still be similar types of people, which honestly is better than yes-men. Filtering out the NPCs, will probably be done by itself as time goes on.
Community server doesn't work because people will just snitch and cancel culture and whinge and beg and scam and... you get the idea.

This video is sad. It's all that is. I just see a person who's in pain and doesn't even want to help himself. I don't know how can a person can be this intelligent and can not realize that the only constant is himself when engaging with other people. Maybe it's just you that is the problem man. I also deal with loneliness. I have a pretty similar schooling experience like yours. I was traumatized by my parent's divorce at first grade and that turned into a snowball effect. To this day I find it very hard to make friends as I am 24 years old. But one thing I realized that helped is feeling and convincing my self into believing that I am the victim does not help AT ALL. It does not. "Bending the knee" you say... I don't know what you specifically mean when you use that term (which you use a lot for some reason) but if it is a question wether shutting the hell up or not... than shut the hell up because bending the knee and shutting up is whole another different story. If that's not the case than talk brother. That's actually why I keep watching your videos. But talking with a purpose creates this effect on people like it did on me. Talking just for talking is only gonna hurt others and you more often than not. You clearly have skill set to keep a relationship with women as you stated you have a girlfriend and this shows your capacity to make friends with men also. I don't know. You know yourself better than anyone else from internet. Figure it out man.
I am fully aware that I am the "problem" but why would I want to change myself? Then I'd just HATE myself? Doesn't seem like a logical choice. Pretending to be or act in a way that you aren't is unnatural and soul crushing. I'm simply too "damaged" or too "righteous" to get along with 99.9% of people, and that's okay. It's okay for them to not like me and for me to not like them. That's just how it is.

ive been playing albion 3 weeks and im getting bored, i tried grouping with a guy and lured me for like 800k in avalonian roads with his guild. havent found anyone that actually talks in every guild i join, really enjoy the game but wont be long till i move on from not having some cool ppl to do shit with

Mortal Online 2 barely has a player base and costs monthly, not something I can afford IRL. I tried starting my own guild using my youtube channel to get the word out and it didn't work.

Yep i have no friends that have pc's to play only people in guilds are never on when i am on and they always do their own thing never anyone to run mists or ava roads with to gather to tier up tools or groups to do big dungeons with. Get lnocked out in yellow zone mists and killed in lethal mists always by max spec t7 - t8 bullies even when wearing a 30k set

@@SwoleBenji I only really associate with working class people these days to be honest, I grew up in an area with lots of lower class people, some violent people, people involved in taking drugs/selling drugs, drink problems, robbing and getting sent to prison then coming out and getting sent back to prison again, most of my friends from my youth are dead 💀 so I can’t relate to upper class people, yes I had a lot of problems but I worked my way out of the ditch to manual labour jobs and that’s all I know, I can honestly say I don’t know any upper-classed people and probably know maybe 5-6 middle classed people but they not in my contacts or are my friends. Upper class people are a very small minority in the UK, hard working 9-5 people keep our country ticking over. So I am not sure where you get that from Swole.

Making new good friends at least our level are hard to get, cause they already have enough friends. I look for them surfing guilds, and discord. In-game gankers. No one wants more guy with them. And random players all of them have ratata mind, so being solo in this game is hard and not much fun, cause we are limited to many things. 2 year many in-game added friends, yet no one to play with.

Only 25 min in and I relate so hard. My friends all left for college and jobs and dropped contact with me within a week of graduating high school. I live with my parents because I have seizures on top of my chronic illness that make it so I can't work or drive so I'm completely reliant on them. Video games are my escape from a wold that wants to put disabled people out of sight and out of mind. I have no friends and I keep trying to reach out to people and nothing ever works. I don't play this game but I've tried other mulitplayer games and it just never works out. I once joined this minevraft server because they said everyone was friendly and looking for new friends but as soon as I logged off for the day my base was destroyed and my stuff taken. In Palia I tried friending people and seeing if they wanted to hang out and do stuff in game and they already have people they play with or want to play alone. I tried Fallout 76 but everyone who plays while friendly doesn't actually want new friends cause they have their friends already. I wonder if some of us are in the wrong place or time to have people we fit in with, idk. It isn’t fun to be alone in a crowded game, I think we can agree on that

Final Fantasy 7 is a game that I haven't played, and the materia mechanics is cool.
Life is very difficult, everyone needs masculinity, culture, family and God, to have the slightest chance of not being miserable. Also looking for fun, joy, happiness doesn't pay off in the long run, meaning does, that's why you talk so much about things that you'll remember after 10 years and making friends.
The things you do, say and think that make others not compatible with you, most will likely be trolling, hacking and exploitation, even if others do this, it is not what others are looking for in the long run. People don't know this much, but the good path is not only good for you today and 10 years from now, but it's also good for others today and 10 years from now. I don't troll, hack, exploit and a lot of other "bad" things, and I don't have friends either, but I don't have your charisma, you attract thousands of people even with your strange personality, if you want to be compatible that much, may wouldn't be so bad to let an unwanted part of you die, instead of all of you dying.

In real life? I don't really have a body of water to fish from where I live. It'd take me like 3 hours to find a fishing hole and I think they're all privately owned. I also have no idea where to start.

In the past money was a means to and end, (like buying food, a house, spend it on friends and family, education, leisure and what not) but now the accumulation of wealth is the end itself. With the advent of capital (money whose only purpose is to make you more wealth) and the commodification of every day life everything you do is numbers. There's no enjoyment out of anything IF it doesn't get you silver efficiently and even if it does you already have all the money you could spend and back ups of the back of the back up of the back up.
It's never too late to try new things.
