Avg resting heart rate of 117 is scary.
Guild I'm in just uses 4.1 gear and relies in numbers.
We do make money, but it's not exactly fast.
Guild events we upgrade (lol) to 5.1 😂 and again, rely on numbers so deaths don't cost that much and we're 2 zones from the city so can transport solo fairly easily.

I had a great time Soo far.
Luckily I found a great guild that help me and treated as an equal.
I been playing safe zone for 2 years and I'm Soo excited to play new type of content.

Yo swole, have you tried smaller more casual guilds? I feel like they tend to be nicer and are just more chill.

The real chill, friendly, funny, collaborative and cool af guilds, speak Spanish ... Trust me everytime I join a English speaking guild is a bad experience but with Spanish guilds ...oh boy that's the real friendly and funny experience

4real english guilds are very bad exp no jk, spanish guild chilling af
why sell your loot. Get rid of mats due to their weight and then use the hideout bank recall function. It empties you bank vault and take 7 days to move to city bank. The fee is calculated on weight so weapons and armour do not cost that much, certainly less than 50%. No risk, small fee, just loose 7 days.
Have you considered joining a casual guild? my guild is pretty casual, we do gdg, tracking, ganking, static, etc. The guild is friendly to new players and open to teaching new players on more advanced stuff like HCE. We have 0 tax, although we do have like 250k deposit per week, but a significant amount of that deposit goes to the guild member in the form of gdg maps and regears.

The guild you joined is either doesn't care about their people or just CTA focus and no other pve money making content. It just feel stupid having that kind of loss.
You're absolutely right about everything you said, running to cities was a drag. The guild I was in wasn't as bad, they were pretty cool over all, but pretty much the same thing. Screaming in CTA's, not a whole lot of content after CTA's, lots of lost gear, loot, and time. They were cool, but most of them was like you said, inner circle, loging out right after CTA, not saying much or anything at all from many. I tried joining you on discord and maybe doing something together in albion or other games, but unfortunately I didn't pass the test 😅 anyways, keep at it, you'll find a good gaming friend sooner or later

I will start the game on the European server for the first time. Can you recommend me a weapon that I can use in both gathering, pve and pvp and kill creatures quickly? I also heard that solo dungeons are a waste of time for items and fame. Is this true?

Shadowcaller, Greataxe or Great Nature are my 3 go-to for solo pve+pvp content.
Everything can be broken down into a silver per hour metric, solo dungeons with low spec and low gear are pretty trash. I'd start with Blue zone open world til you hit 100spec in a decent build then take 4.1 of that build to red zone if you're comfortable fighting with that build
How is CTA "lost" time? You get fights, content, the actual meat and potatoes of the game.
You sit around a hiderout, roam around, get a fraction of the loot or nothing at all, die, lose silver and gear, and for what? Who cares about a "fight?" Gonna remember it in 10 years?
@@SwoleBenji You going to remember your silver balance in 10 years? What's the point in playing the game if you aren't actually PLAYING the game. The PVP is the fun part. Going to castles/outposts/nodes and getting a fight with another group is the most fun part of the game by a mile. If you don't enjoy the PVP I can see why you wouldn't enjoy being in a guild.
@@sheepdemon1982 I'd rather the silver sit and rot than go to Pablo and his posse of 10 man gank squads. It's not fun when you're just making some other douche richer and seeing none of the fruits of your labor. That makes you a slave.
@@SwoleBenji Sounds like you were in a bad guild, honestly. When I die in zvz I get like 90% of the cost of my gear reimbursed. When we win a fight the loot is 100% split, after regears, around everyone who was there.
For everything I disagree with you, I'm 200% with you on this, guilds that do ctas are boring, a waste of time and money, immensely, all the profit stays in the guild hierarchy and foot soldiers see nothing of it. But the only guilds that are really good for both health and make some money, not a lot but at least you make some, are casual or crafting/gathering guilds.
Benji you should make a chill PvP guild with your viewers and just base at portal. Nice video!
Didn't work when I tried last time. 3,300 members on the 2nd day, and no one played with me. Super depressing stuff.
I have had a lot of success in the black zone with bz guilds but its mostly about joining the right alliance and the right guild within that alliance and then not participating in anything other than content that benefits u, like avalonians or group dungeons/statics. Occasionaly when u see your alliance is winning u can join some of their content and loot a whole lot lmao. Basically BZ guilds are great and very beneficial but only if u just take advantage of them and dont do anything u dont want to do/ isnt worth doing even if they get annoyed or there is a slight chance u might be kicked a month in. Even if u get kicked, there is usually always a way to rat urself back into the alliances.
The real issue in finding a good guild is that mosto of chill guilds in this game speak other languages😅 i speak 3 languages and i found alot of lovely players to share gaming with

I want to like Albion, but I have a hard time finding something that's both fun and profitable.
I decided to try and max gathering, but the stuff I was selling wasn't even keeping up with repair costs. I tried to fame up weapons, but the weapons I like are bad at PvE, and PvP doesn't seem very efficient for faming up weapon/armor sets. I found some cool gear and a mount that I liked, but I never want to take it anywhere because permadeath.
I guess the biggest thing is that this game competes with Eve for me - they're both open world full loot pvp mmo's... But in Eve there are legit builds made to exist in a pvp world without pvping... Like my favorite thing is probe scanning, where you sit in a very sneaky, VERY fragile ship and go to dangerous areas to find 'loot chests', but other people know that scanners will be in those areas and it leads to some intense stealth plays... Or you can do industry and hauling - and I guess you kind of have to do those things in Albion, but it doesn't have a contract system where you can pay people to do it or take jobs to do it yourself... It just doesn't have many 'systems' except pvp combat.
But I want to like it.
Came from a big guild in and you don't make profit AT ALL. I joined because I wanted to experience what it's like in a zvz. I never recommend to players to join a big guild unless they're ready to silver burn hard. Although there are smaller guilds that can help you learn how to live in bz. Bz in general is a ruthless zone full of users and tryhards so don't expect to be spoonfed. Always ask questions in "interviews" and if the guild doesn't resonate with what you have in mind, don't join. Play at your pace

I hope like me you can find someday a guild with pretty chill guys and you can have fun with them even after playing everyday. I tried going to other guilds just to experience them but it just isn't as fun with the people. I hope you can find a guild one day that feels like home too.
bro you should have bought premium and factored in the might and favor you've gained, being in a top guild and all.. I'm just curious about how much a guild can help in the season challenges like reaching 1.5M might
It wouldn't exceed the 20 million cost of premium so no point.
If you don't have good economy never join guild even if you have good economy i don't recommend guild unless you have inferior complex or like getting bullied
You joined some of the most toxic players in AO, doesn't mean CTA are bad.. They have an inner circle and they think they're the shit while being assholes to everyone.
If you don’t pvp your heart rate will go up, if it’s a normal thing you’ll lose the adrenaline

I’ve never done the big guild thing, so I was enjoying your video series on BZ content. Kinda hoping it would have another 30 days to it, but wouldn’t wish the misery on you. I appreciate that you didn’t throw the GM under the bus with the rest of the guild. Having said that, he is responsible for setting the tone. And he does have to keep the majority of peeps happy or he can lose his members, so get that it’s a tough thing to balance in a big guild. So I can see it’s not for me. Maybe join a gank guild for 30 days? I don’t know man, you need more content ideas, but nothing that’s gonna make you miserable.
Yeah, Jack's a cool dude but the company he keeps is the worst. I'd honestly play / main the EU server but I'm not starting over and no one's gonna card swipe thousands to get me caught up to where I am on "Americas."
I looked at other guilds and they're all filled with the same crappy people I don't mesh with. Oh well.
@@SwoleBenji I kinda suspect that the company he keeps is pretty typical of big guilds. Gotta be something to the personality type that enjoys that kind of “jump!” “how high, sir?” Mentality. Only guilds are like are the kind where solo players band together to do content when they feel like it with no rules but don’t screw over or harass other guild members. Once it goes past that, the people drawn to the content (especially in leadership) just aren’t people I mesh well with.
And for me, the ping in EU will be a bit much. I already hover at 100. Adding 3k+ miles to the server won’t work in my favor. I would end up just playing an economy game and Albion doesn’t really excite me for that kind of play.
Well, it would be 170 ping for me (if the Amsterdam server speed report is accurate-ish). Higher ping and rebuilding spec - yeah, not for me. I will fiddle while Albion burns around me.
This guild stuff is giving teen bully "you can't sit with us" mentality. People who never grew up carrying on with the same behaviour. It's cringe to see alleged adults act like this.

@taperseus2724 when I saw it first time, I thought it early access for testing beta server. Only after my naivety passed away, I understood that they probably will allow other people play, grind, enter market, while other non-privileged people will stay away. I can understand desire to get money from game even before people spend a hour in playing it, but I not like idea to create separation between people. Maybe I overreacting, and different casts of people will enjoy their own pace anyway.
@@makneekash yeah, when I saw this "early access" thing, I not believed my thought in own head. It simultaneously funny and disgusting - make class system between people even more defines. No matter which road I want to pick in game, is it become good fighter or crafter - there will be already some people who bought early access, premium account, and have better gear or more money to dominate in fights, or more money to dominate on market.

When should new players join a guild? I am at tier 5 skinning part of the guide you posted at the end of last year. In tier 6 warlock set.

Did you know that I created a guild in your honor? The only dude who joined in stole 1m on a chest with some free gear that I prepared for newbies and left. But I still think that you should be a guild leader and endure some barriers of differences, and some barriers of language, and even some barriers of lack of intimacy, this way you can do more things in a group. I watch your videos without subtitles, but when I comment to you, 90% of the time I use google translate to make my words clear, because you don't like the language barrier, and do that may be seem like a waste of time, but I do learn more about english that way, and not bother you with some unreadable comments. Although sometimes I need to correct the translator who keeps changing the words I want to use.
Tried the guild thing, had a mega-alliance of over 3k people and no one played with me. Not gonna waste my time and resources on such a thing.
