A single dongle for everything is a huge plus for me. Logitech’s competing Lightspeed is really really good (I use the G305, can’t afford the G Pro Wireless) but it requires a dongle for each device, e.g. if you also have the G613 wireless mechanical keyboard. Being able to potentially connect a low latency wireless mouse and keyboard PLUS a wireless headset with improved sound quality and mic performance on a single dongle sounds like a dream.
I guess the range is more of a side-benefit of their slipstream frequency due to the stronger signal, they just market the maximum range they could calculate/test to have a bigger wow effect. More battery life/less energy consumption is really welcome though, up to 60 hours sounds amazing! Not a huge rgb fan but I must say, the color transition on the Platinum kits looks great!
No, something else is going on here or it's just pure marketing BS. Going purely by physics, you can't max signal and range, at the same time offering less consumption of energy for more battery life. That's just not possible given the same tech. So if this is true, then it's something newer. If nothing is newer, then it's total marketing BS. You just can't have both with same tech.
Not tryna hate. I Love this channel, but I wish you guys showed the product and info more then yourselves just talking. It's more engaging when its that way.
Only idiots buy Android phone as they slow down within a week of use to the point where it's unusable. iPhones are the most innovative phones as they are the best in every way and never slow down no matter what. Anyone who even remotely suggests that Android phones are better than iPhones should do this world a favor and check themselves into a mental institution as Apple is innovation
60 foot range is useful for things OTHER than being so far away. for example, things that are between your mouse and the transmitter in your PC, or if you plug your dongle into the back of the PC. It allows for a considerable amount of physical interference before performance is impacted, and I think that's a good thing.
the max range doesn't mean you have to use it with such distance, it's to ensure reliable performance in normal usecases. And 3 sentences of technical explanation isn't "a lot to digest". Unless your audience has no idea about IT
Linus talked about the same thing, but he said that the battery life is 60 hours on Blutooth, and 30 for slipstream. Better double check that cuz someone got their facts mixed up.
The slipstream system is going to be great for anyone who does in-home streaming to their TV/tablet/low-spec laptop/phone. It's going to greatly cut latency, you'll be able to stay directly connected to your PC with the mouse/keyboard instead of passing them through the network meaning the only latency you'll experience is the video passthrough, instead of both input and passthrough! I say you should do a Steam in-home streaming test with these when they officially release :D
Corsairs plan will work like a charm. Sell a hardcore mouse with that price. The upvotes began at StodehTV stream, with a never before seen mousecam. Thats a huge advertisement for any peripheral company.
this is amazing all i am thinking is work enviroment and not gamming since i had to many IT jobs where if i could manage the device not standing right underneath it and being in the back of the room or running an extension cable. love the idea have to try this.
I'm stoked to grab onto a Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless with Slipstream, hopefully it comes to M65 and they take off the target graphic on the side button and mute the color down.
I had wired corsair harpoon mouse and it's quite good for the price. my bigest compaint is the rubber grip is wear out faster. in comparison, my logitech M331 rubber grip i still hold up after years of daily usage.
Can anyone help me on how I can connect all 3 devices(headset mouse keyboard) on to a single slipstream( that comes with the headset)? need help! there no video tutorial for this.....
I have the Turtle beach stealth 450 dts wireless headphone. I must say that the mic quality is pretty good and the sound quality is amazing. All transmitted wirelessly, only the range isnt that good and it gets interference when moving further away. By the way I modified it so its comfortable, stock its terrible.
I think the purpose of 60 feet is to make the mouse more marketable to professors or public speakers that may be presenting at a far distance from the computer? IDK just a thought.
Hi Eber. I'm been meaning to ask forever but how come each time you introduce the videos it sounds like you're saying "hurricaneX" instead of "HardwareCanucks"? or am I just hearing hurricanX when you say Hardware Canucks?
Ok honest question: why can't they just use the 5ghz range? If the mouse is only sending and receiving to the dongle receiver completely bypassing wifi, why don't they use that instead? 5ghz would offer better speeds with almost no interference ( for the next decade at least) and since almost no one is using the wireless devices at 50+ feet in the next room, the shortfalls of 5ghz band are a non-issue. Am I wrong? And how so?
No need for a mouse to have that kind of range. Headsets, maybe.... but more important this tech will reduce the lag that wireless headsets have. Good thing!
Im personally excited about this technology. The 60ft range is a bit overkill but what if you have a big ass TV and/or comfortably watching porn from across the room
Isn't the main reason a lot of gamers don't use wireless peripherals is because you don't want the battery to die in the middle of a game? I mean, response time is also important, but I would rather avoid that possibility altogether
Say what again? Up to 60 hours on a single charge? My 10 year old a4tech mouse can work for about 1-2 months on a single charge. Recently i bought a logitech mouse. Its 3 months now and still havent recharged it.
Im more bothered about what switches they are using, logitech dropped the ball with the crappy omron switches they use in their mice. If corsair bring out slipstream mice without any double click issues i may have to ditch my g903
Headsets lacking range ? If i hang around discord my buddy takes me with him to the toilet and keeps talking to me... Kinda gross but his bathroom is like 3 rooms aeay from his pc
I have this mouse since one week. He makes me crazy!!!😩😤😤 I buy it because everyone gives good ratings for this “rat” I cannot call him mouse. He block so many times. He just lose signal or I don’t know. In wireless mode or Bluetooth he work the same bad. When he block if i press the dpi button with the small led he also doesn’t change the color. Any ideas? It’s a software problem or mine is defekt? I should sand him back? The computer runs good and i put the wireles usb inn all the avaible ports. Please help !!!

That new RGB tech is impressive. Reckon i'll be able to bump up my FPS a good whack with that installed.

mouse: Logitech
keyboard: Corsair
headset: HyperX
Personally dislike hyperx headsets. They either are perfect but cost a kidney or could be better..but still cost a kidney
Criied I respect you but my opinion is different

can you pair the KATAR slipstream wireless mouse to the K57 wireless dongle?
balling ass housewide computer setup with multiple comps in a basement and just a/v cables run through walls
Can anyone help me on how I can connect all 3 devices(headset mouse keyboard) on to a single slipstream( that comes with the headset)? need help! there no video tutorial for this.....
Soooooo why all slipstream products keep losing signal and interference breaks their connection?

Is slipstream compatible with consoles? I would love a wireless All Purpose headset that doesn't have a trash Mic.
Im personally excited about this technology. The 60ft range is a bit overkill but what if you have a big ass TV and/or comfortably watching porn from across the room
60 feet away for the projector in the high school auditorium
can you use atleast 30fps? I find that 24fps is awful, especially for B-Roll
Looking forward for mechanical gaming tkl keyboard for less than $100+
You should check out the Corsair K63 (available both wired and wireless). I've had the wireless for a month now and it's just awesome!
But how does it compare to lightspeed?
