-AA battery easy to swap and new AA battery only weight 19g or can use adapter for AAA adapter to AA
    -sensor

    But if i go Harpoon

I got G305 a few days ago. I have G402 wired (love that mouse, normally 110 grams). I reduced the weight of G305 to 87 grams without the AAA battery adapter, just some tin foil and a paper tissue to hold the battery in its place :-).
It is so light it took some getting used to. The shape and size makes me use clawgrip more frequently. I still suck at CSGO but I am more accurate, and even faster at aiming. I don't know if it's the placebo effect but I can tell there is a difference.

@@offgridaction454 It's mostly about people buying something like G305 and then putting in rechargeable batteries in to make it lighter. I've bought 1 g305 and owned 4, the left button always ends up double clicking, pc world happily give me another as a replacement. I've tried fixing them but then but the mouse feet end up knackered, the scroll wheel ends up tight and the left and right mouse clicks feel different. I've unfortunately became an expert in logitech wireless mouse over the last 4 years having had the same problem on the, g900 which i swapped for replacement that done the same, then i was upgraded to a g903(had 3 of them do the same then gave up and got my money back and got the cheaper g305 which done the same after a month) The switches are not worth the hassle. I've been using the Rival 650 wireless from steel series for about 4 months which is really good but its a little too heavy so I'm here to see how the harpoon is.

The pointer on screen was not responding for a couple seconds constantly, despite me re-installing the software and everything. Along with that, I went through 4 AA batteries withing the first 3 weeks, felt like it was eating them up. I tried the battery saving feature on the steelseries software, but that did not help at all.

@@rayd. I am back with a g305 that double clicks. I am done with experimenting with mice. But yes, the rival 3 gave me issues like that occasionally and would aslo not connect sometimes. Firmware often did not update either. The battery life was the thing that made it not worth while in the end and it was also slightly too wide for my liking. That battery saving feature, it actually didn't work when I tested it. Mice just suck atm from my experience.

I own the Corsair mouse, two main complaints: first, battery life is ABYSMAL , I use it moderately, maybe 5-6h a day or a little more, and it lasts only 5 days, after that, I have to charge it, no exception. For example, before this I had the Trust GXT 140 Manx, and battery life went A MONTH AND A HALF without needing to charge it. Sadly, the central wheel broke, otherwise I would still have it. Second, the button to change the DPI is in the center under the wheel, it is very easy to accidentally press it and you have to adjust it as it was before, that is done pressing several times until it adjusts again, this is a lesser issue, but having so low battery life, that is a disaster. I don't recommend it, 50€ wasted.

I am still not sold on the idea of RGB everything. I went and sold my RGB membrane keyboard, which I actually liked and got myself a mechanic TKL keyboard with 1-color back lighting. I also have Logitech G402 and I quickly realized that the glowing G logo was pretty annoying while playing. I got myself G305 a few days ago and I think it is pretty brilliant. I am glad it doesn't have RGB. It is not distracting. The mouse itself is very light. get an battery adapter and you can use an AAA battery. I am down to 87 grams. DONE.

Having the option to go wired is really unnecessary tbh. Defeats the purpose of getting a wireless mouse. And the battery life is absolute garbage on the Harpoon compared to G305. Not having to worry about the battery much is a serious quality of life perk that I love about the G305. I replaced the battery one time since I got it *literally months ago.* Even on endurance mode, the perceived latency is extremely low and game-friendly, and I mainly play snipers.

I have to say I actually prefer the battery. Yes it can get annoying if you dont have spare AAs. But a always have rechargeable ones ready to go. And the battery lasts FOREVER. And then the battery is low just quickly replace it with in 60sec and then you good again for more than a month. Instead with the Harpoon you have to constantly charge it. BUT you cant use the G305 in wired so if the battery dies and you dont have a spare you kinda f'ed haha. Im still using the G305 as my main till today. Though I have not used new wireless mice from Corsair in a while.
