A couple of people are not going to make it out of the episode. But my big prediction is that we find out that Luthen is going to be the "bad" guy of season 2. I do know that I"m waking up to watch at 3am. So excited.
most people fuss about luthen's ship(yes its really cool) but i liked that you noticed how calm he was during that scene. there was no panic in that man. all calm. that should tell you how much he has gone through things like this.
This is one of the many reasons that people are starting to suspect that Luthen is a Jedi or former Jedi. Lots of clues: He had that Kyber Crystal, that rod-thing when he went to see Saw Gererra (lightsaber?), his robes, his speech "I talk to ghosts", the artifacts in his "shop". It would make sense that he's a former Jedi that believes in the cause but is willing to do dark things to accomplish his goals.
Cassian really has a rough relationship with beaches... first he gets arrested for walking, then he finds out his mom died, and then he gets blown up. His relationship with sand probably rivals Anakin's.
Sand is definitely a sore subject for some of our Star Wars characters 😬
Meanwhile on Dune it's normal to wipe your butt with sand.

So Luthen wasn't panicking during that tractor beam scene. He was stalling, giving his ship time to boot up his counter measures. Then he tricked the Imperial commander by revving up his haul craft (appeared as if he was trying to run), which made the commander turn up the tractor beam force, which made the pull of the beam strong enough to pull in those fragment pieces that destroyed the shield. Cool calm and collected. Excellent scene. It gives us even more insight into the type of prepared and calculated character he is.

@@TheJacobSuggs Actually its been confirmed to be a knife. Via a Hasbro Black Series action figure that has the knife / rod as an accessory. Saw it today.
@@TheJacobSuggs Well, that is one of its functions, yes. A lot of other clues though. I think season two will reveal a lot more about Luthen.
@@JustWasted3HoursHere its a vibroweapon. And he said he shares his dreams with ghosts not that he talks with them. I think it makes sense that he actually was aware Jedi exist, which is in and of itself very rare outside of well travelled people or those from the Capital. And given his connection to artifacts actually knows jack shit about the history of the galaxy, likely the high republic. The same way history is applicable to modern political battles, and all past ones, it inspired him to know what was coming and fight it without fully understanding what would be necessary.
@@Souledex Can't wait till season two to see if there's more to it than that. He certainly shares a lot of traits with trained Jedi, so who knows?

I don’t care how long they take if it’s because they are trying to maintain the standard of season 1. This first season was delayed but in no small part because they didn’t want to rush it, and they have earned my confidence 110%!
One of the coolest scenes with a spaceship with Luthen
Luthen did exactly what he needed to do as soon as it was clear they weren't letting him go easily. He was remarkably composed considering the danger he was in. If he had been boarded and taken aboard the ship, they no doubt would have found out there was a lot more to him than he tried to suggest.
Some people have seen the finale already and said it was the best episode of the series, which is saying a lot. I'm really hyped for it.
This show is so realistic that it decides not to show Maarva's death and that hurts a lot because life is like that, things happen and we don't control them. Sometimes we are not present in difficult moments and we have to learn to live with that. Season 2 is already in production. You might be interested in watching an interview with Diego Luna, done by a Spanish film channel (acción) , but I think it has subtitles. Tomorrow the big season finale!
Exactly. This is why I don't expect we'll ever actually see Cassian's sister again either. It's a big galaxy. Millions of inhabited planets and moons, and billions of people on a lot of them. What are the odds of ever finding her? We don't even know her name.
I never thought about a droid in mourning. Do they understand death? Heartbreaking.

Why is it important for Luthen to keep up the appearance of being an enthusiastic antiquities dealer? Why does he want to off people that aren't loyal to him that have seen his face? If he was was a nobody, a regular person, it wouldn't matter, right? Saw isn't trying to hide his face from others. In fact, the Empire knows who he is--the Jedi trained him during the Clone Wars. Why is Luthen trying so hard? We've seen people in Star Wars do this, actually, recently too. Obi-Wan changed his name to Ben and hid as a fishmonger on Tatooine. He avoided making eye contact with others, and he hid behind his beard and cloak while in crowds. Ahsoka changed her name to Ashla and hid on a world as a farmer. Obi-Wan told the young Jedi he encountered in his series to bury his lightsaber, forget his past and to blend in--the young man didn't do that of course, and he met his end. "The itch to help" as the Grand Inquisitor called it is a Jedi's Kryptonite. Luthen's a Jedi! He has to be, right? We saw his Kyber crystal when he dropped Cassian off on Aldani--he wore it as a necklace around his neck. His walking stick, like everything else in Luthen's life, is likely much more than a walking stick. We got a really good look at it in this episode, you can see it here (12:00). What does that look like? It's just a stick for now, but once Luthen puts that crystal he wears around his neck in it, it becomes much more than a walking stick, I bet.
What Luthen told Lonni last week was full of Jedi innuendo. Listen to it again, I'm sure you'll hear it too. Luthen is struggling, has struggled. He's had to forsake his Jedi teachings to survive, he's had to let so many people die to be able to do what he's doing, and what he's doing is important and pretty awesome! He's doing to Palpatine what Palpatine did to the Jedi. Luthen's hiding in plain sight, under the Empire's nose pretending to be something he isn't, while building an army that will outlast him and see his dream through to the end. Luthen's uniting all the independent rebel cells in the galaxy; he's forming the Rebel Alliance.

16:00 That's an important observation. Dare I say, Jedi-like? Very similar to Anakin's pod racing during the Boota Eve Classic. Tuskin's trying to shoot him, Sebulba trying to run him off the course and the difficult terrain or his pod racer falling apart weren't an issue for him. Anakin was determined and focused. He was one with the Force and the Force was with him ;)
Speaking of lightsabers, I wouldn't be surprised if those red blades are trophies from the Inquisitor that came for him.
18:27 Luthen's prepared to die, he's said so--listen to what e told Lonni. He knows his time is fleeting, and that's why he's working so hard to make sure his mission is a success. He needs to put the final pieces on his perpetual engine to keep his machine going, well after he's gone. Lucas told us that Jedi don't get revenge, but I think Luthen begs to differ. He told Lonni that he shares his dreams with ghosts, which I originally dismissed as something he meant figuratively the first time I heard, but after listening to him a second time I think he was actually being literal. Force Ghosts that ascended to the state Qui-Gonn did probably speak with him. Maybe they disapprove with his actions and maybe that's why he believes that he's damned. Luthen can't let what the Palpatine go. His anger, his hatred has pushed him down the path he's one, revenge. His sacrifice will eventually rid the galaxy of Palpatine, so there is that.
I hope Luthen makes it through the season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't. Kleya, his assistant, has everything she needs to continue on, and I sort of think she's a Jedi too. She might have been Luthen's padawan.
I can't wait to see the season finale later today. It's going to be great!
I think Bix knew that since they showed a hologram of someone that wasnt Luthen, even if she did tell the truth that it wasnt the man she met and introduced to Cassian, they wouldnt believe her. She knew they would call back Doctor Gorst and she would be tortured again even if she was telling the truth. The pain on her face was so well acted.
I think she realised her best chance would be to rat out Luthen and stick to the truth. Yeah, they might not have believed her and tortured her again. But Kreegyr's already a rebel known to them. I think she knew they'd be more inclined to believe her if she said "it's not him, it's this guy you don't know about".

That net is mucus-based, so you can imagine what the internet is comparing it to. The Cantwell-class Arrestor Cruiser is an original design from 1976, brought back as a graphic in SOLO, but this is the first time we've seen it realized in live-action. Of course, the Fondor Haulcraft 'Luthen' pilots steals the show with all its impressive capabilities. #Emme #StarWars #Andor
On why the money is such a big problem for Mon Mothma. It is not the sum itself, Mon Motha has more than enough money due to inheritance, it is the books. And the sum is high enough to raise an eyebrow.
With her standing this would mean a whole lot of trouble.

Great video as always! My only prediction is the Empire, thinking they are setting a trap on Ferrix, are walking into one. Based on the response the locals gave to the corporate mall cops. I feel like Syril will try and warn Dedra in real time, but it will be too late.🤷♂️ all my theories wind up being wrong.🤣 MTFBWY!

Those two aliens were fishermen so it makes sense that those nets would be slimy and squishy. And who knew that we could get emotional about the feelings of a robot? These showrunners are amazing. Can't wait until tomorrow! The you-know-what is going to hit the fan tomorrow when everyone converges on Ferrix for her funeral. I'm guessing it will end on a huge cliffhanger for season two (and we'll probably find out when season two is coming out).
Haven't commented lately but I am loving Andor as well. B2 broke my heart, I didn't want Cassian and Melshi to part ways. I want to know more about him. Great Reaction as usual dearie. Content is solid. Peace to You and Yours.......Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
As others have said, season 2 is confirmed. And that’s it sadly. Both Gilroy and Luna have said they will be done after that.
Season 2 will span more time. Season 1 is over 1 year- 5 BBY (before the Battle of Yavin [SW A New Hope]. Season 2, episodes 1-3 will happen in 4 BBY. 4-6 in 3 BBY. 7-9 in 2 BBY. And last arc 10-12 in 1 BBY, leading us to Rogue 1! So excited! 😀

Great reaction as always! I think Luthen is a Jedi Shadow or a Jedi Sentinel. I also think he'll be the one who saves Cas. Ferrix will be a busy place next episode.
Hopefully Bix will say that Anto Kryger is the man she introduced to Cassian so that when he gets killed that thread will be cut.

What’s your favorite episode of Andor so far? Mines is episode 6. So far I rate this show 9/10. It’s a very good show. Mandalorian and clone wars for me are 10/10

actually males and females frontal lobes fully form at different ages, for men i know it can take up till age 35 haha but its dependent upon the individual as well,and im not sure the age range for females.

I am actually kinda of scared for Kino. I dont think he would have jumped in the water just to let himself drown. So unless he accidentally got knocked off similar to Cassian which I imagine they would have shown. Or some of the last prisoners out offered to help him out... the fact they didnt show what happened though. He stayed behind and he will be getting tortured. Such a great character though not sure if we will just get a bunch of brutal torture scenes (as brutal as disney will show us) or if he will be transferred around somewhere and maybe be part of a future rescue if we assault some facility where he is being held. Or he somehow gets turned to the empires side. Which ever way they go I am sure our emotions arent ready to handle what will happen
