I have always been a defender of Sayid's s6 arc (and the temple arc). Always found it a compelling physical manifestation of his internal struggle for self acceptance. Great to see you covering this in a way that isn't just reductive (as if you ever would lol).
WOW the final map. We're in the end times now eh??

One thing that, for me, tips the scale towards Sayid not being completely dead. Immediately after Sayid seemingly dies, Miles notes to Hurley that there's "Nothing" with Miles seemingly bothered by that fact... It could mean that Miles who usually can detect last thoughts of dead people, detects "Nothing" in Sayid... he can't read his thoughts...
And for me, the explanation is because Sayid is not yet brain dead. Miles can only read thoughts of brain dead people. Hence Sayid is not yet completely brain dead.
Ao it seems that since the healing water was tainted, Sayid's healing acted in a very different way, and took a lot more time than usual to completely heal the injured Sayid.

That was really good. Great analysis. My take on the "sickness" is that it's MiB's ability to use someone's deep loss against them. In this case, Aaron and Nadia. I don't know how he was able to trick Claire into leaving Aaron behind. But, from there, he has a way to psychologically weigh on them to a point where they only have him to rely on.
Since Sayid and Claire are so emotionally fragile, they are able to be brought back a bit by other people.
Ultimately, I don't think sayid meant harm to the other Losties. But, he and Claire were on a scorched earth path to healing by blazing thru anyone else that, in their heads, didn't matter.
When faced with the issue of the bomb on the sub, Sayid knows that he doesn't want these people to die, and acts on that.
Claire is a bit of a mystery here. I know she said she would have killed Kate if she took Aaron. Obviously she didn't. But, I don't know if she really would have minded if the other Losties were hurt. Perhaps it's also her feeling of abandonment from them.
Ultimately, I don't see a "sickness". More of a manipulation.

you lost me when you cut off Sawyer saying, "Who the hell is Nikki?" but you won me back with that CSI Miami bit. lol great vid as always. It's cool to think that Jacob assembles his team by touching them, but he's never around to talk to them and then we have MIB, who uses his voice to convert them, but he's not allowed to touch/hurt them.

Good work. I think yeah that all of the 8 others were killed. Maybe even more, we hear more explosions when Jack is taken to safety by MIB. I assume that mortars have quite long distance that they can fire? But thinking about the way how they could see MIB's group from that distance, did they know where they would be? Are you going to have some kind of body count on Widmores group? How many they where an so on. There seems to be that a lot of them are killed off-screen.

Thanks. They could have some expensive binoculars (they exist, that can spot things kilometers away) and they were carefully observing the main island coast. Especially now that they could see a sailboat on their way. So they were scouting the area. I will do a mention of Widmore's group in a future video, but not a body count. I think all of them got killed off, since they are so absent in the later episodes. Like, in "The End", Claire seems to be all alone on Hydra island.

@Choekaas Okay yeah, and mortars can fire quite far away.. Yes i believe so too. Probably Sayid killed some when he turned of the generators. Plus hard to tell how many died at the cages and submarine really. So mutch happens in so short time..

I don't know about a whole season, but Harold Perrineau and Malcolm David Kelly deserve another epilogue that gives a proper ending to the Walt and Michael story, (featuring Hurley and Ben of course).
