I love this show "cooking with Canterbury"
I was expecting a ...OOOH MAN, that sure is good eatin'... at the end :)
Cool move with the rocks and rack oven.
Wonder about doin a bannock with that.
Also liking the tree cuts.
Enjoyed the video, thanks. Have a good day.
Sweet trick with the skillet there. I really enjoy Dave’s cooking videos. Thanks
I love all of your cooking videos! You always seem to come up with cheap, easy, and delicious meals. Like the hack for making an oven.👍
Camp cooking ideas are always a plus. The same few staples get old. Thanks so much for your time.
Very innovative and informative. Thank you for the great gear, I use my Pathfinder cook kit 2.0 and Firebox stove all the time. 👁️♥️🔥📦👌🤠👍
That looked so good! Love the Firebox stove. Use it with my Pathfinder skillet and Pathfinder teakettle all the time.
O.K, you're hired! Good to see the Firebox stoves getting some love, they're a great product!
Thank you few people can make me drool about an outdoor meal. It looks great.
That is what I love about your channel Dave. Thinking outside the box and figuring out different ways to use common items. Good shit.
Dave, great way to make a quick meal for an afternoon out. Thanks for sharing
great video!!! i enjoy these and i enjoyed your store today!!! thanks for all of the years of great vids
I really like this set up! I currently have aluminium pots that would melt doing this method. You sold me on switching to stainless steel Dave. Love the bag also! I got some left over of this insulating material at home so I make one or two of these!
Rock N Roll David style! top stuff all the time every time. thanks David.
I never realized how versatile that little firebox is. It looks like you can use pretty much any source of flame in it comfortably.
Great show! Just love the version of this 1 pot meal! Thanks for sharing !!👏👏👌👌
Absolutely love the "Cooking with Canterbury" series haha
Great idea with the rocks and 4x8 4x8 grille with the skillet, just received my grille today ! Great meal idea looked amazing
Thats a really cool idea for a small oven. Loving your style of cooking Dave.
Love the Firebox. Great video.
Making my stomach rumble dude. That look delicious Brother. Thanks for yet another awesome video. Keep up the amazing work. Always support you guys 🤜🤛
Nicely done sir !!! Very nice indeed!!!!
The thought came to me that it might be a good idea to put some water in the pan.
Not sure, but It might protect the pan from scorching, and the enchiladas would come out moister.
Maybe something to experiment with next time.
Looks pretty dang good! Gonna have to try that
Awesome thinking outside the box again by the legendary Dave Canterbury! Who would have thought you could use a Trangia gas appliance in anything other than a trangia cook set. Nice one Dave, well done! Blessing and love to you and your at this difficult time from the UK 🇬🇧
That is a meal for a King Dave ! Awesome cooking thanks . Greetings from the Netherlands and stay safe ,Martin.
That system of creating a small oven is amazing!
Nice one Dave. Great bushcraft cooking
Dave youre the best!!!!!!!
Chef Tell in the woods ! Great ideas and knowledge every vidja!
6:09 Just as the cheese is added, closed captioning says [Applause]. Yep!
Luv your gear 👍🏻
Looks great
Great vidoe. Thanks Dave. What was the brand of that insulated bag you had there? Thanks
I'd like to know as well
Reflectix is great stuff. So many uses for it.
Awesome video dave love your cooking videos!
Whatup man! That looks delicious! Awesome folding stove!
Thanks Dave!
Back woods. Love it.
Good set up food looked tasty
I guess the days of two bowls held together with binder clips are over for Dave BUT it still works for me. I carry a vary small set of vice grips with me to move the bowls when it is hot. Please do not think the vice grips have only one function as I replaced the adjustment bolt with a eye bolt. It is amazing what you can figure out how to use this modified simple tool. REMEMBER, use what you have, improvise what you don't.
Was teaching all of that including the vise grips 10 years ago on here, still have the same pair with eye bolt, but everything evolves that is what truly survival is about, doesnt mean we have to change but showing all the options is always good.
My favorite cooking style
Great vid. I love the firebox. I’m saving up to buy the master set. Also, I could use more instructional videos on cooking since my wife says I could burn water. I believe that’s an exaggeration. 😉
That's some good looking grub dude!!! 👍💥
Canterbury’s Culinary Corner. I love it!
That is starting to look good
Looks good!
PLEASD READ: Hi David. I've become a huge fan over the last few weeks and just ordered a bunch of stuff from the website and I'm really excited!
QUESTION: I see a lot of youtubers making awesome videos where they take a whole chicken or a piece of steak to their camp and cook it over the fire. Sounds awesome but I can not find any information on how to preserve the meat so it stays fresh by the time we hit our campsite (about a 4 hour hike)
Can you PLEASE give some advise on how to take raw meat on a trip??
Looked good.
DANGIT MAN!!! I gotta try this meal now! All the way down to the Cholula!! Lol Great Vid Sir!!
Okay, now I'm hungry, dang you Dave! Great vid!
thanks for video.
That made me hungry! Thanks for the video.
That looks delicious. Now I'm hungry.
Marbles would work good for your pot rackrest.
I was thinking 4 nuts myself
that looks good...!!
Nice one thanks
Anyone like a side of hot rocks with their Enchiladas? ;)
Good stuff Dave!
You should add an extra episode, maybe every other week, of something you like to cook in the outdoors. Use it as an oportunity to show off some of your cookware as well. :)
The Pathfinder alcohol burner works really well with that Firebox 5" for controlled cooking, Dave. Just sayin'. 😝
I hope you, Iris and the rest of the Canterbury clan are all well, buddy.
great survival tools
Love you brother thank you again for more excellent advice it looks
"Dee lish" love the eye make up too! 😂🤣😉
Dave you could weld 4 half moon shaped loops on each corner of that grill plate to use as spacer and if the loops are wide enough you can feed your U shaped blanket grill kit thru it as well...just a idea...
You and the Corporal should do a bush cooking show before the bacon shortage hits
Just so you know, right before the hoax, pork producers were complaining that they had an over abundance of bacon, they were joking that they had 30 million pounds of bacon and were calling it the strategic bacon reserve. Just like when you have too much oil, you need to stop production when you have too much product. Rather then try to explain the failures of late stage crony capitalism to the American people they make a hoax and blame the pork industry shut down on it. The price of bacon may go up but there will not be a shortage. Also, unlike ammo most will find it hard to stockpile bacon at home. Also pork demand has fallen in America as Americans demand for chicken has increased. Things change.
and sling bows love those to watched what you have on them anymore comming
Wow, once again, a neat little trick from the MAN. Now all I have to do is figure out which of my mess kit pans will hold my miniature bread pans, which I use to make bisket rolls in, from the small pre-made bisket mixes. Follow package instructions but, separate dough into 2 clomps and put into 2 miniature bread pans. I found my pans at a place called "Old Time Pottery". In an oven they're ready in 12 minutes. Thank you Dave!!! With all respect, I've learned more about wood craft from YOU than all the rest of wood craft folks combined. My favorite is your "spring pole friction fire starter". Please mention where you get the prepackaged food you use. Last time you had a coffee mix, where did you get it, from the internet? ;-)
That was the coolest thing
Vc e o cara 💪💪💪💪👊👊👊👀👀
Looks good Dave , where’s the pup ?
What's the name of the pouch that you kept your frozen goods in?
I wanna know to
Love your channel and what you teach. I just wish you would have shown the final product before you started eating it....lol
That is a great idea to make a hot sauce bottle out of a mini liquor bottle!
Since they are Plastic they work well for everything from Oils to sauces

What is that pouch called not sure if you are saying tac or tech
It is a home made pouch made from Reflect ex, there are lots of video on them out there-
David Canterbury thanks.
@@marktodhunter8397 Reflectix is bubble foil insulation. I had the damp, mouse-infested fiberglass insulation under my house replaced with it. Smart move on my part. The house is warmer and I haven't seen a mouse in years...
Hey Mr you .good camping man out there .in the world some were .hi above .the all a secret place on this earth 🌍 to see
an hour to make lunch? must be nice
Took less than 20 min actually but I don't make a habit of being in a hurry during my time outdoors so......
@@DavidCanterbury nice! I don't like to hurry meals either
Im hungry now fuck :)
#aztecdiet
Exactly!
знатное хрючево получилось
Where is the bacon?
I leave that to my buddy Shawn
@@DavidCanterbury He certainly does love his bacon. I just need to get Gordon onto the bacon wagon LOL
Been a sub for awhile now, long time watcher. I have about 8 years in the food service industry, including line cook and management. No offense, but a little tired of seeing camp cooking. Shaun does it all the time. Anything not cooking coming up? I know you have a series on Nesmuk. Hope I spelled that correct.
Too bad we ran out of TP
