Hope this helps all of your curiosity...She is the BEST, and has never harmed me or any child. For those who feel the need to always be negative, take it somewhere else. Thanks, E
I always though you were the luckiest girl to get to do this with Stevie! Such a fun memory for you to have and so great that someone put it in here for you to see! :)
im a alcoholic with 10 years sober under my belt and i had some great times when i partied back in the day ,, but some music , like stevie nicks and a few others , when i listen to it i feel like im getting high and when the musics over i am still sober , its a strange feeling
Is it just me or does Stevie seem not-so-into the song until 4:24 when she sees Elaine? And then the entire energy in the room changes. Bless her. She would have been a superb mother.
Such a travesty that so many people do not see the joy and love in that (at that time) little girl's face. I think it is wonderful memory she will never forget. My girls were probably about 8 and 9 when I took them a Daughtry concert and he came down and hugged both them and sang to them. My girls are in their 20s now but it is a memory that still brings them smiles and this very proud dad a very heartfelt memory. i started to take my girls to concerts when they were 5 and my oldest (25) has now been to over 300 concerts in her life and she probably has the best hearing of anyone. Yes, I used sound reducing ear plugs when they were little because i always wanted them right up front to not only hear but experience the music. Nothing effects the soul like music!
No she didn't. Her songs are her children stop your endless projections about her and children and being sad that she didn''t have any. She didn't WANT any.
Stevie's amazing & gets better & better, all the time. She's completely evolved into someone at peace. After reading that incredible story, i now understand why i love this song so much;never knew why i did, much like Stevie didn't know. Yes, such an amazing energy to this incredible piece of her poetry. In less than 48 hrs, I'll have seen my 1st Stevie concert ever. I'm so excited I can't sleep. She just feeds my soul, gives me energy. She's one of a kind & am so glad she's my number 1.peace :)

so, thank u, flamingcrystal for posting. & thank u for that amazing story, of which i knew only a little.had no idea she'd married her best friend Robin's husband, after cancer took her away from Stevie & Robin's family. her poor husband & sweet little Elaine. story made me cry. she married him probably out of the 2 of them being completely grief stricken, and had that bond. just speculating, but i can see why she did it, at that stage in her life. she did it to help her best friend's family.
I had this concert on a bootleg VHS years ago. It must have been a 4th generation copy as it was grainy, sound was muddled and colors washed out. But I loved it as it is "Wild Heart tour" footage! and played it a hundred times. But this here is a fantastic upload as it sounds fantastic and the video is now first rate. 😎. Merry Christmas 🎄☃️
You can't compare her good old let loose style with what she is today....she's controlling it so she has energy to endure a tour. I've toured it's gruling. Not to mention she actually "sings" and not voice overs or analyzers or prerecorded crap.
OMG that is so cool Elaine. I was upset because I just read the bio and it said nothing about who you. Good song she picked to have you up there too. Lucky You
Are we looking at the Woman and her music or do we just want to talk about her offstage/private life? If you love the song and her so much, let her have her own feelings. Thank You, God Bless You 🐇 Stevie, my Mother would love her version of Silent Night. It was played at the recession of her funeral in early October. Thanks Mom, you too Dad…

Stevie Nicks would never harm any child, I am sure. I think she was showing the crowd how much she really loved children. She is a typical USA citizen-loves her country and family.
Lady Goffin I have loved Stevie Nicks my entire life. She certainly has a good heart. But she did have 3 or 4 abortions including Don Henley's baby, whom she named post mortem Sarah and went on to write a song to her. As much as I love her, she did hurt a few kids.
She could care less about children and all that cap about her looking sad because she had to give her back is crap. There are some of us who really don't care that much about being mothers or kids. I prefer something with four legs and FUR!
@@muffin6369 What a nonsense. What she did with that kid was wonderful and very sweet and loving. When she gave Elaine back, she just mimicked some sadness with her mouth (like a clown). Nothing wrong with that.
She genuinely looked so sad when she had to give the little girl back and then when she said that and looked back it seemed like a genuine quiver of her lips too. Wonder what the next song was going to be since she said "oh no that song now?!"
Amber Ray Yes I saw that genuine quiver of her lips too! Seemed as though she was having a bit of a rough night. I’ve seen her get very emotional at times. Watch her in the White Wing Dove Tour you can look it up by that name. The last night of her first solo tour was a roller coaster. After reading about that night I found her to be so sad her short tour was ending. She kept thinking about how in a few days she had to return to the winter of discontent with Fleetwood Mac going back in studio to cut Mirage Lp. She was so torn up by the end of that concert she could barely finish Rhiannon. After graciously thanking her fans for coming she broke down. And her band mates all converged around her in a group hug. It took many hugs. She’s just so vulnerable sometimes. Of course Lindsey said he hated Belladonna. None of F/M came to see her show! I don’t think Fleetwood ever really knew how fucking lucky they were to have such a talent as their lead! People came for the music yes but came to SEE Stevie! I couldn’t have dealt with shit like that I’d have left their asses flat! She was so under appreciated it’s pathetic!
One of my favourite moments. This one is fun to watch, but Stevie looks so tired. I really feel for her.....And the Woman may be so awestruck, and the woman may truely care, but the woman is so tired.....
@kc5cxu she never had kids......there were rumors about that a long time ago but as she said over and over again.....is that her songs are her children...hope this helps

You can see when she gives the kiddo back, she cries. And then "Oh no that song now" was because Beauty and the beast would have made her sob. Shows that even great stars can be sad, and have to make great sacrifices.
I think the song talks both about Kim and Lindsay, more about Lindsay. Maybe she was very angry that he didn’t show up at the wedding-probably Lindsey had gotten really angry that after all their time together Stevie was going to marry a man she didn’t love. So in the song maybe she is picturing Lindsay showing up at the wedding, but she is hurt and fearful- that if Lindsay gets closer she will break down and will admit that the whole wedding is just a facade. She asks Lindsay to stay away, because he wasn’t there for her before and now he will only cause more trouble. I always listen to the song with that idea in ny mind. Stand back, I did not hear from you, If you had came, I would’ve cry and ran away

SO JEALOUS :) .. be well, nice experience
I can only imagine the memory Elaine has of this magical moment! Why couldn't that happen to me as a kid?
what a lucky little girl to have been on stage with the great stevie nicks
She can hold a child on her arms while singing to an audience and not losing pitch at all.
Hell of an artist
If anything she became more lively when the child was in her arms
Ummmmm, she alternated between being flat AND sharp continuously…and her vibrato keeps getting slower and slower.
