British brand ,swiss watch,superb finishing, sensible if not decent price,great dimensions,handsome watch. Every time i see one on a channel without fail i'll say "that's a good looking watch" , definitely something to "seriously" consider.
I rate my C60 Trident Pro 600 right along with Oris, longines, and tag in terms of build quality

I had a Tag Aquaracer Calibre 5 and the CW is above Tag in build quality. I would rank them CW>Oris>Longines>Tag

I own 3 MkII and 1 MkIII C60’s in different guises. Huge following in UK and becoming big around the world. For the price they are unbeatable. The quality is up there with the big names with 3 or 4 times the price. All the CW models are stunning.
Push pins are good enough for me. Actually I prefer them to screws. Brand at 9 position is fine too. I really like this watch it looks beautiful. The case shape is really nice. Great video thanks for sharing.
CW are way pass the microbrand stage, their a boutique brand
they're watches punching way above their pricing point standing head to head with oris aquis as far as build quality and higher specs with the 600m water resistant and the quick release bracelet at about half the price not to talk about their 5 year's warranty
Yes I agree they are becoming a major brand or perhaps a micro independent
@@WatchChris I bought the trident pro 600 42mm in black about half a year or so, they were retailing for 845$ with the discount code back than I was able to get this baby for 780$ now they are retaining for 1015$ for this model and I believe it will even go up in price in the near future
Got the same exact watch and added added an excellent hybrid rubber strap. Their website could use a little work though.
Very nice . Way better quality than Certina, Hamilton or Tissot. On a par with Oris for less money. They can’t be described as a micro brand as they have retail shops and constantly stock the range. Micro brands piss me off because anytime you want to buy one they are all sold out.
Micro brands suffer from small mindedness and low aspirations as they never ever produce enough to meet demand. Most are overpriced and I wonder after a year of two if you need say a new bezel will they have the parts. I doubt it.
O, Yea! Fantastic new opening. The old one was so depressing and annoying.

CW is a solid goto for me. Just picked up the bronze C60 with the blue jeans looking dial..love it!
I have the exact same model in the review and It sits awesome in the wrist, I would cheat it with an oris aquis though

Thanks for the review Chris, CW are giving a lot of the bigger brands a run for their money.. Especially oris, the SH21 movement that CW bought out 5 years ago is a cosc certified twin barrel 120 HR power reserve in house movement.... that doesn't suffer with a jumping minute hand....

Why do people insist on calling CW a micro brand. Micro brands typically have a limited range and don’t carry stock. They also nearly always under produce and never meet demand. CW have a large range and always in stock. They are a small watch maker NOT a micro brand.
Damnit man, I’m trying real hard to but this isn’t helping. This and that Draken Tugela...watchguage and you are gonna ruin Christmas. I’ve got tuition for the kiddo to pay man, ya killin me.
I like CW, have a trident elite 1000, upon purchase they were kind enough to arrange the production number matching my birthday. The only down side to me is that titanium gets scratches easier, can't wear it as carefree as some other alternatives in the collection.
I have the elite 1000 in blue, fantastic watch, I just bought the hybrid strap for it, they have made them a bit thinner than the original ones, really comfortable, look great, and don't scratch like the bracelet 👍👍
@@davids.2317 Really, that would be good news as the original ones are a little too stiff and they tend to dig into my wrist. I have been wearing it with nato so far. Thanks for the update.

seiko has history and cw is stil a young microbrand but...quality is far superior in CW imho

The CW logo on the side is done for a reason.
It's because you can apply your own logo at 12 for series of custom watches. (available on their website)
It is almost the same reason for Squale that has 2 logos at 6 and 12.
Squale at the beginning was designing dive watch cases for other brand.
So the brand put their logo at 12 and Squale at 6.
Well that’s def not the reason it’s at 9 because the ghost twin flag logo is at 12. And it’s because it’s a refreshing break of the logo being at 12 like it is on every other dive watch. As said by Christopher ward and other owners in loupe magazine

CW might be the best swiss brand under $1k but the best watch under $1k is the Mido Oceanstar Tribute. Fight me I dare you.
no fight, tbh I'm biased cause I have a Cw but ... in what is mido superior in your opinion?
@@SkyNikita322 again, imo but the future and finish. I have owned a few CW watches (I even purchased Robs white one) the CW makes a good diver but the tribute is cheaper, more easily attainable in the U.S. and dressier. I like the vintage vibes of the tribute vs the tool aesthetics of the CW.
@@GalaxysGreatestDad I will look into it . MIDO is a brand I've always skipped for other reasons...What do you think about the Baltic aquascaphe??? I like it a lot but I think they are a bit overpriced espcially for the movement they use.....
@@SkyNikita322 agree 100 about Baltic. I would rather go with Axios, EMG, or if you want the vintage vibe Baltic has go with Yema.
I have to say the mido tribute is a complete sleeper I really want to get one on the channel they're gorgeous the bracelets on them look amazing. I think mido have been doing a lot lately hitting it out of the ballpark. The rainbow diver and the new GMTs they came out with are killer

Like many other's i'm not a fan of the name at 9 , for me the C65 super compressor is probably the best looking watch I've seen this year , only wished i could afford one lol - maybe 2021 i'll be able to save up enough :)
Only complaint about my c60 sapphire was that it didnt have a lot of lume. And a little defect on the side of one of the indices. Probably still my favorite watch though
