I have the same problem. The error appeared after i changed throtle body. I cleaned the error, and after a day, the problem reappeared. I have only to clean or i have to change? You have had issues after some days?

Asalam Alaikum, I have an Opel Corsa 2012 1.4L and the traction lights were coming up on the dashboard. I took it to the mechanic and he scanned it and the code that came up was C0186 (5A) - Lateral Acceleration Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. I am located in Sydney and I don't know what the part number is and how to locate it. The Opel Company has closed down in Australia and it's very hard for me to find the part here. Would you be able to give me some advice? Thank you

Did you disconnect the battery before taking it out?

I didn't disconnect the battery, not too sure whether I should have or not, however I saw no issues later on
