Symptoms of anything wrong with the car. Are the above symptoms. You can't just guess which it is. Could be MAP, MAF, Vacuum leak, old filters, one car came in and had a decomposing filter, like 6 years old. And had the same power loss, gasolene smell. Rich run. Rough idle. Vould be anything with these cheaply made cars.
Hello I have a vw passat cc 2.0 tdi 2009 I get these two codes p0238 p0113.the problem is I changed the sensor back to the same codes I took out on the computer. Thanks for help
2003 grand Caravan 3.3 occasionally cuts out at complete stop. It has started right up right after the cutout. Maybe 2-3 times a week and once in a while at startup idle. It's my daughtes van for college. She said it did not want to start at 1st start of the day the other day. She said while she was cranking the rpm went to 2000 but no start. 3-4 attempts it started and was fine again. MAP or crank sensor?] When she drives 64 miles home on the Freeway it drives fine. The cut out at stop is very random. The no start just happened once that I know of. Any idea?
I drive a citroen xsara vts 2.0 16v. My car had a rough idle and would often stall, also when accelerating hard it would hesitate at around 5500 rpm. It had no error codes ect. Replacing the MAP sensor solved the problem immediately. (This car has no MAF sensor)
My code is P0172 fuel to rich bank 1 Replaced 02 sensor Replaced 1 injector Replaced MAF sensor Replaced temperature sensor Could MAF be the issue Also i have no power in reverse gear and the car stalls or seems to be chocked
Try a map or if you have a idle air control valve (iac valve) try to clean it out, if you have a maf clean that with the special cleaner, try fuel injector cleaner and high octane should do the trick
I’m having the same symptoms and problems on my 2012 Chevy Cruze LT. and right now it’s doesn’t wanna start, it cranks and cranks but doesn’t turn over. Is it the map sensor? If not then what could it be? Please and thank you🙏
Cant say exactly...a no start can happen from other reasons too....a bad fuel pump, faulty relays, blown control fueses, bad ingnition control switches, bad crank angle sensor, and more. You need to diagnose them one by one. especially if there's no codes.
Hi if I drived 200 km, with these symptoms , is it serious ? I will change it as soon as I can. My car is a Jeep renegade 2021 1.6 Multijet 35.000 km..i hope its not serious. Thanks for video
If it’s come up with check engine light you should get it repaired until you do you shouldn’t be using the vehicle because a map sensor is actually a small key part to the engine
Hey I have a 04 buick regal and it has some of the symptoms in this video, but it idles low, around 500 rpms, then the rpms fluctuate for a little bit., when it is running good the rpms go back to a different spot sometimes 600 sometimes 700 and sometimes it stops at 1000 and about 15 seconds and drops down to 700... every now and again it stalls out and dies. Ive changed the iac and the pvc and cleaned the mass air flow. I have no codes. could you please give me your thoughts, thank you very much.

I have a chevy sonic 2017. When i make an stop my car wants to stall and sometimes it stalls. The check engine comes on but after few hours it goes away. It reads code P0171
This could simply be a vaccume leak which could be of variety of reasons like bad evap valve, loose air hoses etc... the map sensor or maf sensor can also be fault. The code shows too much air in manifold or less fuel being injected.
Hello. My engine management light comes on for maybe a couple of days then goes off for a week. No problems with the performance of the vehicle. What would you advise?
Same for me. A BMW 225d made in 2014. BMW dealer had it for 3 days and couldn't find what was wrong. I've taken it to an authorised BMW repair specialist for a second opinion and they've read the error codes, cleaned a 'pressure sensor' and flushed the manifold. Fingers crossed but i'm not holding my breath.
My Honda J-series engine (2007 V6) has rough idle and sometimes misfire DTC. I noticed that the idling engine "Intake manifold absolute pressure" is around 27 kPa. During normal highway driving at constant speed, I see fast fluctuations without reason (going up to 75 kPa or 85 kPa for a fraction of a section and then drop to around 27 kPa). When engine is not not running, I get 100 kPa (close to 1 atm), My LTFT is +14% or sometimes +20%. Is my MAP sensor bad? If so, why do I get 100 kPa and 27 kPa which are considered normal for non-running engine and idling engine? Overall fuel economy is around 20 mpg on par with similar cars. I hope someone can shed a light on this. Thanks.

Hi there, could be but its more life MAF sensor that cause late start n mileage troubles. This is one of the reason. Same cn be said for injector nozzle trouble, fuel supply related troubles etc.
could just be dirty fuel system if no lights are coming on.. put some upper cylinder/fuel system cleaner in for a couple tanks and see if it improves. "Lucas" brand is the best.
@@autoinfogroup1629 thanks for reply..made me check handbook..its the electronic fault warning light..car starts from cold, no problem.. start travelling..get into top gear around 40/50mph..electronic fault light comes on..same time engine becomes hesitant ( power slow/normal/slow/normal etc). Stop car..switch off engine..restart seems to clear fault..until next day cold start..had spares so replaced spark plugs..ignition coils..cleaned crankshaft sensor. Now wondering about inlet air temp sensor, throttle potentiometer, map sensor...any ideas.
Hello, I check few video, I have seat leon mk2 2.0 tsi 211hp, when I go to dyno to add more horse power I mean make chiptuning, the diagnostic show there is to much fuel on car, even it go out from exhaust pipe, It also show that I lost boost 16p0 rpm till 3100 then boost back normal, also on first dyno test it show problem on cylinder number 4 it have -3 and on second test it show on cylinder number 3, I am really confused cause my car not lost any horse power even is 13 years old it show me 223hp and 292nm, the men from tuning though the problem is with ocv valve I already changed but even my old look fine, please if you can help me cause I can't find where is the problem, cause I not have lamp of check engine also I make scan and it show all is fine 😔
Hi there, do check for leaking fuel injectors. If there's a leak in any one or two, can cause fuel flooding. While you add more horses, be sure to tune the sensors accordingly. Adding power means more fuel. And oxygen sensors can read corresponding to their company preset and stores excess fuel in operation. And the low boost n cylinder codes can be cos of tuning itself if not done properly. Sometimes the ecu miscalculates or doesnot recognises the change in parameters, not always but possible. Do check the injectors, oxygen sensors, intake air sensor especially map if getting proper reading on boost at varying rpm range.

Hi no engine crank to 2k rpm...just around 300rpm only. If its showing 2k rpm then mostly the crank sensor be at fault...could scan the ecm for codes.

Can it cause a miss shift from 1 to 2 gear ?
wondering the same but from 2-1 downshifting
Yes,Bad map sensor makes misfires when shifting or delayed shifting or rpm fluctuations while shifting

it can damage catalytic converter in worst case scenario

Holy shit thank you so much, I am experiencing everything you said in this video, I will go ahead and replace
that shit right up
what is your experience after change?
Will be nice without background music just focuse about map sensor thanks.
I got a 2016 chevy cruze and im getting a po299 code. Maybe this might be it? 🤔
Hi there, pls do check for boost leaks or pressure leaks before concluding map sensor. Any torn hoses, o rings or even bad turbo can cause the same.

It could be anything from bad fuel filter, fuel pump, maf or map sensors, crank or cam sensors, even damaged relays ,fuses etc
Well information
Great video thanks maamm!!!
Agradecido por la información ..muy explicita gracias
Glad the content helped...

Hi i have a duster which is giving low milage and sometimes starts late can this be MAP sensor issue? Please help
Hi there, could be but its more life MAF sensor that cause late start n mileage troubles. This is one of the reason. Same cn be said for injector nozzle trouble, fuel supply related troubles etc.
Is it better to but a new map sensor or clean current one if car is only 3years old with 35k miles driven?
It can be cleaned and used unless its totally damaged.
Thanks , informative and simple. :)

is it possible to have a bad MAP and no light on ? i have mostly of symptoms but no light on

THIS SHIT DOESNT GIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF HEALTH
Yes it's possible.
It's not the MAP sensor... the problem is using high heels.
😅
@autoimfogroup you make a great work .
Would this fault cause the electrical warning dash light to come on?
Did you mean the check engine light or battery light?

Hi I need abit of help please
Pls mention your issue....
Does this can cause overheating?
Its the least chance....map sensor wont cause any overheating.

Hi thanks for the video.
Question: Where can I get a new hose because on my own we become a hole and the sensor does not dress well on it.
Hi there, we din get the hose part? which hose are you referring to?
@@autoinfogroup1629The tube on which there is the turbo sensor.
It should be available in autoparts store. Look for similar parts if oem not available. Or the Oem dealership.
@@autoinfogroup1629 You can send me a link to a store that sells this part.
I just tried and I do not find.
I mean the hose.
Can someone tell me where the fuel rail pressure regulator/sensor is on the 2014 Ford Mustang V6 3.7?
NO
