Great video for a novice guy like me who tried to research on his own and was so overwhelmed with information! I ended up choosing the DJI cam for the sheer fact of the simplicity it offered along with the front facing screen. I felt with that addition alone, you could totally use this for many purposes, including some studio shooting. This is more of a hobby for me and not a full time content creator and the price was right in comparision to s traditional vlogger camera setup. Was considering the Sony ZV-1 but am ultimately happy with my purhase and the savings allowed me to splurge on accessories like: light, mounts, lights, mic adapter etc where I would have had to save up or be more selective with going a full blown camera. This video also helped with the settings, so thank you!

My first streams were with my phone using the EpocCam software and a car mount adhered to the backside of my monitor. Needless to say it didn’t stick for long, and I went to Walmart at 10pm in a rush to find a new mount before they closed at 11. I saw a display for this cam, but no price. I asked an associate to help me with a price check, as it was obviously locked below the display. It was clearanced out at $91 and I’m so happy that I decided to go with this cam over just getting a new mount, not to mention the convenience if I ever want to use it as an action cam

Hey! Is DJI Osmo Action cam good for vlogging? Right now I use my iPhone 11 for vlogging but I’m going to change my samrtphone for action cam for vlogging. What would you use for vlogging DJI Osmo Action or GoPro Hero 8?
The Osmo Action is extremely good for vlogging, i used this a lot when i was doing some vlogs in Miami last year, you should check those out! When it comes to the Hero8, im not quite sure compared to the Osmo Action. I recently picked up the Hero8 so i will have to do a couple of vlogs with them both to see. Stay tuned

I'm assuming you don't leave the dead cat on in the studio. I had it mounted on the top of my Osmo Action and it still wound up in the top of the frame because of the very wide nature of the lens. I had to add a hot shoe adapter to the microphone just to raise it up a small amount to fix the problem. I believe I even tried mounting it to the side like you have here but it was still in the way. Still it's a great camera and I'm enjoying getting it set up for lots of uses.

Great video! I have 2 soft box lights and 2 umbrella lights that came with my green screen kit. I have been using an old Canon T2i but will switch to my Osmo Action. I just need to get that LED light you have on the Action. Can you add that link to your description? Thanks!!!
With the use of Mauvio Audio enhancer app, i would say, no. Only if you talk as much as i do in my tutorials. For daily or vlogging where you talk 30% of the time and do B roll 70%. A mic would not be needed.
Wouldnt recommend for a studio use for longer than 25 minutes. It overheats at around 30 minutes and wont work for a while after that. I learned that it's very limiting for long record sessions. Either way after testing it for a bit I loved the action shots I got from it...until it broke on me in the water.

with action 4 I can use it directly a webcam device but I think limited to 60 fps

charge it when you record, you can’t use it without the battery plugged.

Its works great with the gopro 8 and 9 so i assume its the same with the osmo

All the action cameras has way to small sensors as it is for filming inside, no point destroying the footage with an ND.
RobHK Vlogs do we ever need nd filters for filming outside with a GoPro or even iPhone 11 Pro?
