    This butter is ideal for preparing your favorite foods, for frying and giving a special flavor to your preparations; You can replace the vegetable oil with this butter like our grandparents did who generally used this butter for cooking, if it is healthier or not, I don't know, keep in mind that anything in excess is harmful, so this is a good option for replace the vegetable oil and save a little money since you will use all the bacon; You will get the oil or pork lard, the white cracklings and with the leftover skin you can make cracklings of winds or as here in Venezuela they are called carraos.
    Ingredients for lard:
    * 1 kilo of Bacon (the skin or leather of the pig, pork...).
    Preparation :
    You remove the fat from the bacon, that is, the white part, then cut it into squares and in a frying pan or in a preheated cauldron, place the squares and stir from time to time so that all the oil is released. When you see that the squares are golden, remove them from the heat and place the oil in another container.
    To store the lard, transfer it to a clean container and to avoid any residue in the oil, strain it with a strainer.
