Great video. This stuff is so often overlooked, and when you try a Ukulele off somewhere like Amazon it's so obvious. Always but from a good dealer who can do the setup for you properly. Basic setup at the very least, but a really good dealer will have an in house team who do this all day. World of difference. And a well set up good instrument can make a huge difference for a beginner too, cheap instruments sounding bad can but you off playing without realising it's not you that's bad

Manufactures are builders who focus on building and not setups. Manufactures have to ensure instruments don’t arrive to their dealers buzzing so they keep the setups average, strings not too high or too low
Keep in mind if you go lower it's easier to hold your notes but you will lose power at higher frets. Seniors should have there strings lower for easy playing.
Hmmmmmm basic setup does not include checking/adjusting the neck relief and setting the intonation? Those are usually standard basic setup for the guitar and bass.
