The mysterious murder of Stacy Feldman [True Crime Documentary]

  • 44 year old wife and mother Stacy Feldman was pulled lifeless from her bathtub on a Saturday afternoon in March, 2015.
It seemed that she had collapsed in the shower, water still running, and had not gotten back up.
    Her cause of death: undetermined.
No one could say with any certainty what had happened to Stacy -not her family, not the medical examiner and not the Denver Police Department.
But speculation was rampant: a medical complication, a drug overdose, a tragic accident … and a police investigation that despite scant evidence, was convinced Stacy’s death had to be a homicide. And if so, they knew exactly where to find the killer.

I cannot wrap my head around partners that murder the mother or father of their own children!! I mean, murder itself is already horrible enough but to take away the parent of your child and subject them to such pain and sorrow and a life time of grief is just beyond me.

@@nicolew4877 I know, I was wondering about that, but maybe there needs to be just cause to dig into phone records or it's harassment and requires a search warrant. Similar things come up with autopsies, what to search for or whether the situation even warrants one to be necessary.
Maybe with all her existing medical conditions the police felt they better not push it or be possibly sued by the "grieving" shlub. That said, if someone like a mistress can unprovoked volunteer information changing the equation to "suspicious" then you may have justification to dig further and build a case. Just imagining there must be a protocol.

    • @kberry

Even though the husband is the one in the wrong, I don't think the potential mistress should have called the wife because it's not like they became intimate as yet. Their relationship wasn't a thing and she just found him to be a liar. I wouldn't have stirred a pot by calling the wife. She would just have to find out by herself about other future mistresses.

That’s the case here. There are exceptions - especially on religious grounds. Stacy and Bob are Jewish. Traditional Jewish law requires burial within 24 hours of death. (The same is true for Muslims.) However, this is obviously waived in appropriate circumstances (such as a possible homicide or a death from a contagious infection.)
Objections to autopsy are waived when public policy concerns outweigh private religious objections.
