I used your method of cooking my ribeye, it turned out great! I have the same airfyer and the only thing I did different I didn't flip mine. I used a cooking thermometer to check for internal temp about 160° and it came out perfect. Always double tap the tongs for good luck.
Hi, love this video and spending time with your children doing something you love. I think preheating is really to preheat the sear plate then you can put a nice sear on your steak.( unless you just prefer a baked steak)If you’re only air frying, I think 2 or 3 minutes preheating would be enough. Also, purchase a thermometer with a temperature probe on it, like a Thermoworks Dot, then you can insert the probe and monitor your steak temperature and not overcook it
Do you know as I'm watching a video I'm listening to the music which is wonderful and not annoying and loud just a little bit of jazz guitar very soft you're new to this but others that's been around for a long time just don't get it people don't want to hear annoying music. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that
Yes, and he has the volume down to the right level so you can hear him talk. Most people just add music to the timeline while editing and fail to lower the volume to 1/2 the level.

I'd keep a small sheet pan close by to cover the open door so I'm not getting the bottom tray mucky and adding to the smoke 😁.

I love your attitude! Just do it!
I always keep foil on my crumb tray too. So it looks like about 11 minutes at 400 will be about right as you factor in resting the steak.
I am following your instructions . . . fingers crossed!
Good video. I’m hoping to do an occasional steak in mine, though its not a Dual Heat.
Why do you pull out the crumb tray when the tinfoil is on the other tray to catch grease?
Good job dad.....
