Good job man, I like the amount of detail in this video. Shedding light on a lot of the finer often over looked details about the lore, even naming the philosophers that the developers based the story on, well done. Also the footage of the dark winding mountain road was a nice touch.
Thanks buddy, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah i've been looking around at stock footage and it was just amazing. I've also gotten more than a few compliments on your music my dude. People are loving it.
Great vid, very informational! These philosophical themes are one of the things that make the story of the first game so good when compared to the other parts of the trilogy. I hope that the Stalker 2 will be on similar level
All the cool philosophical stuff aside the song Collective Consciousness from MGR was playing in my head on repeat throughout the entirety of this video
Amazing video man. Crazy to think that the global consciousness project still have their RNG's up. Hopefuly and unfortunately (negative wise) with significant moments of human history, we may understand more.
I am glad you investigated the Philosophical concept itself because I am researching the real Noosphere myself. This STALKER lore video is essential reading for those looking to understand what potential it awaits humanity.
PS: I apologize for not responding to this video sooner for I myself am investigating the Noosphere in relation to "Unus Mundus" of Carl Jung and the "Eternal Recurrence" of Friedrich Nietzsche and why the Soviets would be interested in the implications.
There certainly is a similar concept to the Noosphere in pretty much every philosophical paradigm, dating all the way back to the pre-socratics. If you were to ask me in real life, I would interpret this common understanding (logos, Plato's Forms, Zeitgiest, etc.) like St. Thomas Aquinas did in the Summa. I believe its question 85 which discusses how humanity understands the particular in relationship to the universal.
You know, I don't know if I'd consider them "good" as they're all brain washed, but the C-Con (whatever you think of its original intentions for humanity) is probably the one thing stopping the zone from taking over the whole world.
I believe something like the Noosphere is real. It explains so much of the unexplained, paranormal, and spiritual which traditional science doesn't explain, and instead just insecurely berates people who have experienced it as dub or crazy. Carl Jung's "Collective Unconscious" is essentially just the Noosphere, just not described in a shape or place like "a sphere around the earth." If you take into account Jordan Peterson, love him or hate him, is just the next lead Jungian, the idea is not actually obscure, but is still actively considered in the mainstream today, regardless if you personally agree or disagree.
So basically the *"noosphere"* is like the *"warp"* from Warhammer 40k. I am just wandering why there doesn't seem to be straight up psychic entities or "deamons" or "spirits" roaming around The Zone. By that I mean creatures or beings "borne" or derived from the noosphere itself or atleast manipulated physical matter in order to create bodies for them to inhabit. Basically think of these entities as *"conscious anomalies" or "sentient artifacts",* derived from *humanity's tendency to anthromophise nature or "magical thinking". (which alot of people still do to various degrees and areas of their lives)* usually such irrational/magical thinking becomes more common when people are filled with uncertainty, fear or a sense of powerlessness and especially heightened when they are emotionally unstable. Making offerings or conducting rituals to appease or placate various spirits or gods or other mythological creatures they believe (in desperation) are in control of things. (things outside of people's control) Wouldn't mind the sequel included new types of anomalies or even artifacts that are basically manifestations of human folklore and myths able to grant boons or cast curses on people depending on their mood as often throughout human history people tried to make sense of the seemingly fickle nature of the world around them from deadly storms to crop failures to diseases and other negative phenomena they experienced just like we do today. (and many people still believe that various entities and creatures are responsible for their many misfortunes)
"No-o-sphere," not "noose-fear," but 95% of English speakers see "oo" and automatically say "ooh" so no worry ;) 10/10, I wish YT still had stars for rating,
I really hope this is true. I saw Biosphere, and Geosphere, and instantly called it No-Osphere. So when i heard him call it the Noose-phere, i thought I was pronouncing it wrong.
So heres a theory.. we are individuals we have thoughts and feelings of our individualism and expressive thinking.. What if WE are the C conscience? Or are “puddles” next to the big ocean that is the noosphere??
I've been playing STALKER for over 10 years and an Eva fan since the 90s and somehow this never occurred to me, thanks lol Gonna have to rewatch Eva sometime, it's been a while since I've had a good mindfuck. Maybe it'll meld with my dreams I've been having where I'm just a bit too late to the shelter when a blowout happens....
@@IntoTheZone for me the funny thing is, I read about Teilhard de Chardin and similar stuff before I checked out the lore for Stalker in depth. And when I heard you mentioning his name I was amazed. The omega point is a really fascinating theory. I really hope that all the new people at GSC dive deep on the Iceberg of these theories around Noosphere and mind control/manipulation and mix it with personal fates for their story
God I hope S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 brings more popularity to this franchise and in turn, your channel
Thanks man, I hope it does too. Hope it makes some new fans and brings back some old ones.
It’s already alive and well thanks to DayZ stalker servers theyre amazing
Very interesting stuff, I knew that the Noosphere was a real concept but the details you researched are really welcome. Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a very interesting subject to look into if you have the time or desire.
Love your videos also
Hey is this is a crossover episode😬 both anomalous depot and Into the zone🤝
Awesome as usual, I've always found the Noosphere a bit strange but it's a little more digestible thanks to you
Its a weird thing my dude. But yeah, glad I could make it a little easier to understand.

That background with the music was hypnotic.
Check out Stanislav, he's the beautiful mind that put the two tracks together on this one. He's got a channel full of awesome stuff.
That is some darn good content, thank you!
Thanks man! I'm glad you liked it.
A very interesting and informative video. The background music and video go with the tone of your dialogue perfectly as well.
Thank you very much!
As always man you never disappoint with your content
Thank you my dude. I'm glad you enjoyed.

That's so true. I hope they keep to that caliber of game design with STALKER 2.
Hearing about the noosphere first in S.T.A.L.K.E.R and then again in The Empty Mani had no idea it was an actual thing..
Yeah its a crackpot theory but it's very fun to think about
Actual thing is a strong word
C-Conscoiusness full name is Common Conscoiusness
i wonder if strelok still thingking about his choice...
Maybe him killing the scientists was an illusion too
Great analysis. I can tell that you did some deeper research into the concepts behind the story, and i appreciate that.
All the cool philosophical stuff aside the song Collective Consciousness from MGR was playing in my head on repeat throughout the entirety of this video
This is the best video on the subject I've seen so far. Great work and thank you!
1000th like, love your content, keep up the good work ❤
Wow man! You are taking me into a ride now. Keep it up man!
great vid bro keep it up, its a shame you only have 420 subs
Thank you my dude. We're still growing steadily and I'm sure I'll have more before too long! Thanks for coming along for the ride!
@@IntoTheZone wow man, only 2 months and 1k more subs! nice

Very interesting, thanks to the channel.
Dear guys and girls, please put your "likes"!
The noosphere reminds me of the cognitive aspects of Yog-sothoth.
Interesting thing that might add to the idea of noosphere, is remote viewing, which was at one point, allegedly, even adopted by the US military.

@@catholicryanite432 It's also talked about with Technocratic circles which plays into the occult aspect, veiled in the fiction.
Now i get the Lain Stalker memes
Great video
So monolith are ultimately unaware good guys?

I always thought they kinda where since they're one of the few things stopping anyone from getting closer to the center

This is really good stuff my friend! I'm here from anomalous dugout who recommended your channel, go check him out.
I did check him out, and he's got an amazing channel! Love his work.
It's pronounced "noh-oh-sphere" with double "oh".

I love the potential backstory of real life theories that the Stalker Universe is based on. Because it's universal, fundamental, spiritual... stuff :D
