- Let’s talk about what a CSTR is. A CSTR stands for a continuous stirred tank reactor. A CSTR is a reactor that operates continuous at steady-state. A CSTR is composed of a tank (either metal or a polymer) and a stirring apparatus that ensures the fluid inside the CSTR is perfectly mixed.
CSTRs are commonly found in fields where a continuous process that uses lesser viscous fluids is necessary.

Hey! I'm looking for the transient response of a CSTR and how to obtain the equations that model the dynamic system not just the steady state. Do you have any papers or something?

A CSTR is like peters diverse belly being fed cake. But it never reaches steady state because peters belly is never full.
Please, why can’t a continuous stirred tank reactor be used in a high temperature reaction above 500 degree Celsius
