I made the transition from model to photographer because if you're a freelance model it's extremely hard to get your photos after events. But it does help me understand what makes great portraits in the long run
I believe that's the first time I heard Coco's voice on your video! Great that you got a C-Stand. In case you didn't know, the larger leg of the C-stand supports the weight of the softbox. Make sure the larger leg is is in the direction of the boom arm. Ingat!
when the essential skill got revealed; i felt punched in the gut HARD. but an honest truth that photographers, especially introverts like me, need to accept
Is it difficult for any none professional to understand that it is the strobe lights, not the constant lights, are the ones producing the primary glare angled into the lens?
Wow, Coco's voice is actually pretty sexy, sounds like cool characters from Disney films. Can't help to comment this, since usually Jiggie's the one who's talking. Hehehe.
Hi Jiggie, love your videos! I was wondering if you could tell me what you use to hold up your back drops? Or maybe you already have a video discussing the same that you could point me to. Thanks-Greg
The whole idea of it. How will direct your model? How keen are you in identifying the details? (It is how mam Coco did) . I am thankful this video i was remided again why you need to have shotlist or mood board . Very informative and clear explaination. Keep it up sir 😊😊
You demonstrated something important about portraiture. The psychological part of designing a photo is as important as technical know how. You and Coco are fun and interesting to watch.
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate your videos even though i speak french . I would really like you to show us some methods of controlling reflections in glasses. Photographing people who wear glasses is very difficult. Thanks in advance!
Hello Jiggie, fisrt I want to say thank you for your awesome videos. Just started taking pictures (can't really say I'm a photographer) and your videos have helped me a lot. I click the like button even before I watch it, already know it's going be very good. I have a doubt, for the background not fitting the focal length. Did you ended up cropping the picture or extending it in Photoshop? I practice on an empty room in my house and focal has been a challenge for me. I have lens kit 24-105, 50mm and 85 mm. Any tips? Thank you
I am a starting portrait photographer myself. (I have only held a lap with an inexperienced model once, I find it very difficult) I didn't know how to position her and she didn't know how to stand.
Most newbie models are dependent on photographer instructions. It is important that we direct them clearly and made them feel confortable doing it. If we need to demonstrate, we must.. even if it makes us look funny 😂 Great tips sir. 😊👍
Great video and a point very well made. I do think however that Coco is learning to be a photographer faster than you're learning to be a model. (Sorry, I couldn't resist that.)
Really enjoyed this Sir Jiggie and a very good advice. It's refreshing to see that you two switched roles this time. Might get some laughs demonstrating the poses I would like but yeah do everything just to get the shot.
💙💙

what technique do you use to replicate your background to the sides? can you describe that? thanks

Yes and the heavier part of the arm should be always on the right :)

I bought the used version of that c stand a few months ago from a friend and its very useful
Yeah loving it a lot
Love this! You both did an excellent job. Glasses are definitely a challenge!
Yeah didn’t have a chance to tweak it anymore it should have been moved more to my left :)
I am a starting portrait photographer myself. (I have only held a lap with an inexperienced model once, I find it very difficult)
I didn't know how to position her and she didn't know how to stand.
Just a matter of practice :)
@@JiggieAlejandrino Yes without experience, I find it difficult to find a model. (Maybe I should photograph a professional model and rent one.)
Good to see the Nanlite strip softbox being so versatile for photography.
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the video Sir Jiggie. More content with Ma'am Coco as a photographer. :) Agreed with that skill. I hope I can also learn that. :)
Very nice👌
Thanks!
I love your backdrop systems. Would you mind sharing the brand and where to get it? Also, what do you have for the ceiling mount? Thank you!
It's so cute and entertaining seeing yoy get photographed by your wife. I love the duo

Thank you for this video, Sir Jiggie! Dapat talaga alam mo rin kung pano maging model, for you to share confidence when you're photographing someone.
Diba :) and yet it’s not widely practiced
Agree, Sir! Taking self portraits is fun, even once in a while hahaha
