If you two are still around, I'd like to know what you feel or think about a channel called David Displays Model Behaviour or Displaying Model Behaviour. I'm wondering if you would enjoy their usual style or prefer Fwoosh in comparison and why that might be or what aspects you prefer from one as compared to the other?
Seasoned model kit builder here, one thing I'd recommend is taking the time to make each peg a 45º angle (you don't have to cut a lot, just change the angle of the end of the peg) This introduces more air into the hole to the pieces are easier to pull apart if you happen to build something backward, or whatever. Also, getting a .03 mm pencil is a great method to do some basic panel lining! Hope these were helpful, keep up the great vids!
I picked up the flame toys nemesis prime a little while ago. It needed a bit more glue than it looks like skywarp needs, but I still loved the build and the final product.
Yeah, that design utilizes the first version from their transformers model kit line, which kinda sucks ngl the Optimus Prime attack mode, Nemesis and Shattered Glass version uses that most and it's not the best
I honestly don’t care if this thing doesn’t transform, I’ve found that most transformations hinder articulation, and often look messy when not handled correctly, backs seem to be where a lot of transforming figures put all their alt mode kibble, built Megs and Big O and the seekers will make a fine addition to my collection
I've been debating on jumping into this model kit line. I really like the stylized looks they have. It gets to boring having everything be G1. Its just the price point that gets me. Maybe ill just get one and see how I like them.
By the way if you split the legs ever so slightly then you can avoid the tail fin stickers peeling off. Also thanks for telling me about the articulation, I didn't know about the arms being able to shift up even though I own both Skywarp and Thundercracker, I was always annoyed about needing to fold the wings back so I could move his arms forward, that joint helps SO MUCH
Robo you should really give gundam a chance, any master grade would be cool, the engineering its really cool in them... Plus they are giant nostalgic vibrant blocky robots
I'be just funished my Furai Optimus Prime model kit today, and i agree on every single word u said. Fun different (from Bandai kits) and great figures overall
I am also in the camp that Transformers characters don't need to transform. I'd rather have a "kibble-free back pack" than have a vehicle mode I'll barely use or appreciate. I like the CHARACTERS of of the Transformers universe, not their alt modes. Maybe the one exception is Dinobots because their alt modes (i.e., dinosaur mode) are just as much of their "character form" as their robot modes.
Exactly! Why do I pay extra for a figure just for "Product Placement" I don't transform them I display them 99% if the time and it's not like a kid is just goona transform them again and again
An advice I have for anyone who wants to use the stickers for the fins on the legs, I suggest you put the sticker on first then sandwich the fins in place with the two leg pieces instead of following the instruction manual. This way unless you move the fin all the way out where the end of the sticker would be exposed, it shouldn't peel it back like in the video.
When Quarantine first started I was looking into model kits to have something to do I looked at these but the style isn’t for me. The G1 Optimus though...
Oh yeah, can totally see that. I don't care for the look of the Megatrons I've seen, and the seekers are funky cool, but I'm now really interested in G1 Prime and Bumblebee.
HA! Been telling you to get in on these Furai kits. I've got the Gen 1 Optimus on pre-order and it looks to be possibly the perfect version of him in plastic.
spray some soapy water on the part where the sticker goes... it won't ruin the adhesive and you will be able to align the sticker easier while it is still wet. Then it will dry with the adhesive of the sticker as it is :)
Optimus Prime IDW Ver. Is a wonderful kit, but beware for the the hip joint as it is susceptible to breakage. Other kits I recommend will be the upcoming Windbreaker, G1 Optimus, and Drift.
Decided to come back here with fresh eyes after I put together the G1 Optimus kit and yeah, holy shit, I am ALL IN on this stuff. Really hoping they eventually get around to doing a G1 Megatron to go with the Optimus, but in the interim I'll just pick up the Thundercracker kit and bide my time. But yeah, that Optimus kit may just be a rival to the Amazing Yamaguchi as far as super articulated non-transforming Transformers goes, which honestly really surprised me. If you don't have the G1 Optimus kit, do yourself a favor and pick it up, DEFINITELY worth the money.
Hey Robo, since you like to cut close to the parts like me you should get some DSPIAE 3.0 nippers, or what I use some Valtcans. Don't use God Hands though, they break pretty easy if you're heavy handed and don't align the stopper often. Hope this helps man!
I have the Starscream and Bumble Bee from this line and I love 'em! Bumble Bee is my favourite of the two as he looks less stylized compared to Starscream (and the rest) in my opinion. To your point about the grey, add a wash and it'll darken it up a bit plus accentuate the finer details :)
I bought and made starscream the beginning of the covid lockdown off amazon i may get the others but they are basically the same model kit different colors. I got G1 Optimus coming whenever soon. U r right the posing sucks the knee cap i had issues of it falling off when posing . I painted on my wings on starscream the metallic sticker just didnt make sense to me and the decepticon logos seemed upside down to me i didnt put it on mine. Ive done alot of bandai star wars kits because u i love them better then just buying the figures that dont look as good!!
good video and tbh this looks better than any of the hasbro transformers you showed. you should check into some 3rd party transformers like fans toys or even flames toys. the one caviat is that they are pricey, especially the flames toys ones but, well worth it if you are into transformers.
You should REALLY build or at least Google the HGUC Zeta Gundam project evolution version. Since you like transforming airplane mechs. It does transform and parts form, but it's way different that a Transformer style transformation.
Hey Robo! Great video as always. I second the comment asking what brand the magnifier visor is. Seen you wear it in previous builds. I’ve looked into them a little, but don’t have any reference for which ones are good quality. Please share the manufacturer name, or even link us to the product? Pretty please? You Rawk! ‼️🤘🏽‼️
so here's the deal with these model kits. the engineering of these kits is basically identical to Bandai's Gundam model kits. the big difference between Flame Toys model kits and Bandai's model kits is the plastic that they're made of. Bandai's model kits are entirely made out of polystyrene plastic which is softer and more flexible than ABS plastic. Flame Toys model kits are made entirely out of ABS plastic which is hard and rigid meaning the parts are going to be tighter. that's ultimately why this kit feels different from the Bandai model kits that you've made. I'd highly recommend that you get the Bumblebee kit and the G1 Optimus Prime kit.
Looks like a typical Bandai kit, almost based on what they do with most Gundams, looks about on par with a 1/100 minus the inner frame of a master grade. I love G1s but this is a nice take
I think for fudging the model kit into Siege, it's missing a lot of the chunkiness of the line. Might be a good repaint to make the female seeker Slipstream, though.
These seem to go together in the same fashion as the Gundam kits, small parts, lots of tiny holes and sockets that interlock, etc. As for those tiny triangle decals, no thanks lol. I'd have gone in with a Gundam paint marker and filled those in.
@@TheFwoosh 😂😂 Yeah, the first Furai I had was the shattered glass Prime, didn't really like it out of the package but it was one of the first designs so I forgave them and it seems that they've definitely improved
I am so trying not to start collecting Transformers.......i get to much other stuff to review but then you go an show stuff ........i want Transformers so much 😔
"I built the Toy Story Woody model kit but then didn't like it enough to even put the Buzz together"...so you're saying that the Woody didn't generate any Buzz with you? Just an unapologetic lover of puns and dad jokes lol
I could watch any reviews even if I don't collect the line as long as it's a fwoosh video !
I have watched so many reviews of things I don’t even know or care about. It helps me to keep up with what’s out there at the moment.
I think the timelapse camera would be really cool, especially for some of the longer builds
Shout out to the Transformers that don't transform, they are the best Transformers!
I’ve built most of the Optimus kits and they are fun as heck to have in my display.
I picked up the flame toys nemesis prime a little while ago. It needed a bit more glue than it looks like skywarp needs, but I still loved the build and the final product.

I can’t wait to get the Furai G1 Optimus. Also I’m totally for Transformers that don’t transform lol
Ayy you preordered it too? Did you get it from BBTS?
Yes PLEASE! TIME-LAPSE building kit. ♥
Overhead timelapse? Yes 👍
I got the nemesis prime like 2 years ago for either Father’s Day or Xmas. Nice fig!! 👍🏽✌🏽🤙🏽
I don’t even collect these but I would definitely watch a time lapse. Go for it Robo I’m all in 😁
I think the idea of one camera looking down is great
Awesome Looking Transformers Skywarp
I have a top down camera... I used a mic arm for a desk and modded it to hold a GoPro. It works great.
I will forever love the seekers
Still a coll as heck and a badass action figure
If they committed to a whole line of these I’d probably really get into it
I just started the Megatron model and I'm very impressed with the quality of the model.
By the way if you split the legs ever so slightly then you can avoid the tail fin stickers peeling off. Also thanks for telling me about the articulation, I didn't know about the arms being able to shift up even though I own both Skywarp and Thundercracker, I was always annoyed about needing to fold the wings back so I could move his arms forward, that joint helps SO MUCH
Model Kit videos are usually lame but yours are GREAT.
I'd love to see a top-down painting/crafting angle from you Robo!
More model kits too!
Hi yes please do the top down time-lapse camera that would be fantastic.
I started building model kits because of your reviews
100% will watch any and all content from you Robo! Time lapse included
That time lapse idea would be amazing!
Transformers more than meets the eye
The timelapse would be cool. Another camera angle is almost always a good thing.
I love color scheming of the kit
Robo you should really give gundam a chance, any master grade would be cool, the engineering its really cool in them... Plus they are giant nostalgic vibrant blocky robots

You and I need to start a club, that's exactly how I feel.
The Fwoosh New Facebook group: “Fans of Non-Transformers” 😆
Well, still waiting for Buzz Lightyear review
Always a good day when Fwoosh videos show up!
An advice I have for anyone who wants to use the stickers for the fins on the legs, I suggest you put the sticker on first then sandwich the fins in place with the two leg pieces instead of following the instruction manual. Oh wow these are similar to the gundam model kits very nice
i would really like live streams of model building
It is nice to say that skyward is the muscle of the 3 main seekers.
Thank god BAF’s aren’t this complicated
I sometimes glue the stickers tbh so they don’t come off to easily I don’t recommend but you know lol
You can still build 'em Robo, very nice model kit review, have a great weekend my friend!
When Quarantine first started I was looking into model kits to have something to do I looked at these but the style isn’t for me. The G1 Optimus though...
The Optimus looks really good had to preorder it 😂😂
Oh yeah, can totally see that. I don't care for the look of the Megatrons I've seen, and the seekers are funky cool, but I'm now really interested in G1 Prime and Bumblebee.
I got g1 prime and seriously it is freaking awesome its bigger than the revoltech and as much articulation
I've never been this early to a fwoosh video before
That looks cool
Might have to look into these kits.
HA! Been telling you to get in on these Furai kits. I've got the Gen 1 Optimus on pre-order and it looks to be possibly the perfect version of him in plastic.
FWOOSH👏🏼TIME👏🏼LAPSE👏🏼
Yes time lapse would be cool 😎
Hellyeah new model kit video
I would love to see the timelapse build or even some model kit streams

I really like this model
Hell ya I’d watch a build video
After seeing this, I might get these to display with the Earthrise versions in their jet modes :)
I have the IDW Prime and Megatron and they are pretty nice kits! I wish I hadn't missed out on the Seeker sale...

I build Drift a few weeks ago. I also found the manual to be kind of hard to read. It's just smaller and darker than I'm used to with Bandai kits.

Cool review. I’d still recommend the Siege Skywarp. I love the Siege Seeker mold.
LOVE IT!!!! would just have to have someone put it together and paint it for me :/
Just dropped by to LIKE the video.
Robo you heard my thoughts LMAO 1:08 as soon as you finished that sentence in my mind I was like " WHAT XD "
good video and tbh this looks better than any of the hasbro transformers you showed. you should check into some 3rd party transformers like fans toys or even flames toys. the one caviat is that they are pricey, especially the flames toys ones but, well worth it if you are into transformers.
LooOOKIN BADASS!! must get the whole seekers! plz do more, your vid is helpful. maybe you could try painting? THX a million!
You should REALLY build or at least Google the HGUC Zeta Gundam project evolution version. Since you like transforming airplane mechs. It does transform and parts form, but it's way different that a Transformer style transformation.
Why have i been so early lately with all the channels i watch
Hey robo if you take a cutip and gently brush any crease or air bubbles it can help them look a bit better of you have any trouble with them
Hey Robo!
Great video as always.
I second the comment asking what brand the magnifier visor is. Seen you wear it in previous builds. I’ve looked into them a little, but don’t have any reference for which ones are good quality. Please share the manufacturer name, or even link us to the product? Pretty please? You Rawk! ‼️🤘🏽‼️
I dont deal with model kits. I prefer the actual toys. I can't wait for that Thundercracker/Skywarp 2 pack.
so here's the deal with these model kits. the engineering of these kits is basically identical to Bandai's Gundam model kits. the big difference between Flame Toys model kits and Bandai's model kits is the plastic that they're made of. Timelapse would be neat. Any chance we could see a top 10 Carpet Monster items / montage?
Looks like a typical Bandai kit, almost based on what they do with most Gundams, looks about on par with a 1/100 minus the inner frame of a master grade. I love G1s but this is a nice take

Those magnifying goggles are really cool. What brand are they?
I think for fudging the model kit into Siege, it's missing a lot of the chunkiness of the line. Might be a good repaint to make the female seeker Slipstream, though.
Yes time lapse please
When you get the new Spider-Man you won’t be able to say “ better then Spider-Man “ lmao
Great review!! If you like building stuff, are into LEGO at all?
i would love to see a time lapse
All those articulations are basically Gundam articulations
I’d be so down to see a time lapse with the parts you got confused at in between!
Please do more transformers flame toy's model kit and the time lapse thing
Please do the time lapse camera
These seem to go together in the same fashion as the Gundam kits, small parts, lots of tiny holes and sockets that interlock, etc. As for those tiny triangle decals, no thanks lol. I'd have gone in with a Gundam paint marker and filled those in.
Robo.....you an engineer? you remind me of....me? i have been a robotics engineer for years
Are you goona do the Optimus Prime G1 version? It's on preorder rn and looks beautiful
This definitely makes me want the G1 Prime. I mean, I did, but now I gotta have it.
@@TheFwoosh 😂😂 Yeah, the first Furai I had was the shattered glass Prime, didn't really like it out of the package but it was one of the first designs so I forgave them and it seems that they've definitely improved
do a timlapse
robo im talking to robo
Time lapse please
I am so trying not to start collecting Transformers.......i get to much other stuff to review but then you go an show stuff ........i want Transformers so much 😔
How does the revoltec Optimus Prime look with him? I’d assume that the revoltec is shorter but maybe similar style
I'm sure the latest Revoltech Prime looks good with these models but there's also a G1 Furai Prime kit coming soon!
Fwwooooooooooooooooooooooooosh voice
I've fallen down the model kit rabbit hole with the Gundams. 🤦🏾♂️
Just a little tiny while.
I don’t like the fact that the Decepticon symbols are upside down.
It's accurate tho
"I built the Toy Story Woody model kit but then didn't like it enough to even put the Buzz together"...so you're saying that the Woody didn't generate any Buzz with you? Just an unapologetic lover of puns and dad jokes lol
Yeah, I wasn't excited by a Woody.
I'll see myself out...
@@TheFwoosh that happens as you get older, guess just be happy you got any Woody, regardless of quality
