Holy shit! $500+ dollars for that thing? Really? I mean, whaddafuck!
The Millennium Falcon is badass and all, but $500 bucks for a model kit?? I guess you gotta be serious into that hobby.
I get it and all. I'd spend $500 for a DSLR camera, or a halfway decent Newtonian scope. Hobbies can get expensive.
But hot damn! Did you really throw down $500 for that model?

I was surprised that he used the decals as reference for the scratch marks on the ship and the most impressive thing he did is doing the weathering, all in all he deserves an medal for all the impressive work he did on the Millennium Falcon.

Actually, it's beyond that, they actually went through hundreds of photos, and screen grabs, tracked down all the kit bashed model parts, and what exact kits they came from. It's a snap kit, and it didn't look too terribly hard to build, which is that much more impressive!!!

Bandai’s model work is magic. Their molding is incredibly clean with little to no flash or flat details. Buy a cheap gundam kit if you want to see for yourself. Also the blend of plastic that they use is made to minimize nub marks.

Star Wars, Lost in Space , Star Trek, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, The Invaders, Nasa craft like the Space Shuttle , moon landers , old time spacecraft models from,AMT, Lindberg ,Revell, and our own scratch built ones while listening to music from Angel, Billy Thorpe, Scorpions Tokyo Tapes Alan Parsons 1st 3 albums, Tangerine Dream, Camel, Goblin, etc, and Holsts The Planets, spacey movie soundtracks . Wow... Let me start by pointing out that I am visually impaired: I was born with Cataracts that has left me Legally Blind (20/400 L 20/200 R) and I have always felt frustrated when I had trouble painting and do the details on models; so I've only built a handful of kits and have always both envied and admired modelers. I gotta say, you made it look easy. I enjoyed watching you put it together and doing the detailing. I also liked how you had the camera zoomed in to get a tight shot.
    Very well done.

A thousand years ago when I built the very first MPC kit of the Falcon I used lite matches to create the blast marks and scorch flares on the body panels, was a surprisingly good technic for it ;-)

The original Episode 4 millennium falcon was also constructed with a bunch of gundam parts... Which were made by bandai. So when bandai got to scan the original scale millennium falcon from the movie, they noticed a ton of their model kit parts built into it. This is definitely the most detailed millennium falcon model kit ever made.
