@@TheFwoosh this guy looks way better. I think the bayverse is great for threezero. It really lets the details of these designs shine. Coming from someone who really isn’t a fan of how far left they went from classic G1 designs
Is this whatcha'll want? Yes. Yes, it is. Although I like action figures, I don't have any intention of getting most of what you review. I watch for that sweet sweet personality, enthusiasm in your voice, and beard.
Every time I think of Optimus Prime I think of that one viral video recently where some dude imitated the transformation sound while pointing at a Semi which was painted like Optimus Prime
God, I'm always blown away by these ThreeZero Transformers figures, especially when they expertly tackle such intricate and complex designs like this one. FYI, I wouldn't recommend gluing anything down on this figure, if only for the prospect of ThreeZero releasing some kind of Jetfire attachment parts for this figure in the future, which may well be possible with how many parts and pieces are on ball joints. I thought I was happy with the Furai Model Kits making up the bulk of my Transformers display, but depending on how deep ThreeZero go with their upcoming MDLX series (which is to say whether or not they show off a Megatron, Starscream, or even Soundwave in the future), I may just end up replacing them.
Awesome review! I just got my DLX BB optimus and this thing is just WOW..I have never been so impressed with a figure and now I am a forever Threezero fan. I preordered this one and few others like BB. As long as Threezero keeps the price around where it is and continues to release crazy good quality, I will be buying.
Great review, ThreeZero give me a Bay Ironhide!!! Not to be that guy but you forgot to rotate the gold/yellow pieces above his crotch up. Man this thing looks great and looks like he basically walked right off the screen of TF1 and Revenge Of The Fallen and to an extent Dark Of The Moon (just missing the ab pieces) such a childhood design since I grew up with the first TF movie (and the other 2) and Transformers: Animated even if it is messy and not G1 looking like the BBM Prime design (which I obviously love it’s perfect).
I CAN'T REMEMBER EVERYTHING! Haha, but yeah, now that I look at the box, those do go the other way. In my defense I think they came out of the box that way.
@@TheFwoosh Ha, it’s no big deal it doesn’t take anything away from the figure or hide’s articulation or a feature. It honestly only something someone who is a Transformers fan and or just knows to design well would catch really.
This DLX scale stuff is another world. Been following pages that have countless characters made by 3rd party and they don't miss anything. The officials would be remissed to not capitalize, especially with a company like ThreeZero, on this popular overseas scale and aesthetic.
3 zero makes great products! Amazing detail and paint. Even though I prefer the classic versions of transformers like most people and don't really care for the movie designs, first there are a few movie versions that look great and second when you see figures done like this of the movie versions they look amazing and you start to appreciate the design and design of them. I don't think your last comment was negatively, I think it was constructive criticism.
This is just a fantastic looking piece, ThreeZero is doing a phenomenal job with this line. I love the DLX Bumblebee figure that I have. Glad to see and hear you again Robo, it just isn't a Fwoosh review without seeing your mug and hearing that angelic voice.😄
The waist was stuck on mine. I was so damn scared of breaking something trying to twist it loose. Like you said there's so many pieces on top of pieces, that can't get a good grip on anything. Took me a while to figure out how to get those hip tires to pull out as well, the manual isn't clear enough. An amazing be piece though and i truly hope they do megatron from RotF. Would be an instant buy.
Uhhh I wouldn’t glue any of those panels in, I’m assuming it’s for the Jetfire combination. Edit: the gold hip cylinders point forward, not up, idk if that helps?
I've own three DLX transformers figures. They do need to work on the ease of lighting but everything else is just exquisite. I hate the articulation and fluidity of the joints. Other figures have trained me that going too far or certain looseness is bad. What are they doing that others can't do? Is it the metal or real it turn to crap in a few years? So far they seem to have knocked it out of the park with the Optimus figures. I'd love to get this thing but I have to call it due to the price tag. If the upcoming Transformers movie has an even better Optimus design then Bumblebee.....
Dude im surprised still that these figures arent even more expensive then they are. Look at flames toys and you’ll feel a lot more praiseful of this line.
I’m probably not the only one to say this but those pieces in the legs come off like that because it’s gonna combine with the next figure coming out jetfire. I think lol
It’s nice! I own the threezero Optimus bumblebee movie version I still like that one better then this one. I think it has a lot more detail again that’s just me!
10 months late but here's some small details from a guy who knows this design inside and out the little gold cylinders at his pelvis should face with the concave round end forward, rather than upright cylinders how you have him. Those flaming butt panels should flare out at the bottom edge, slightly overlapping the hip wheels. And that sharp blue piece that rotates on the front of the upper thigh should be angled up so it also overlaps the hip wheel, with the long top edge slightly angled up towards the outer point As for all the pieces that pop off too easily, you probably know this by now, but they're designed to pop off easily at points of stress. For example, if you were to accidentally clip that red inner leg panel and it was glued in place, it might break off. But this way, it just detaches and can easily be reattached, no breaks
Robo: but everyone must agreed that Optimus is the star of the show (yes I know this is not accurate bcs I forgot what he said) Me: clearly have forgoten about bumblebee
If you wanna see another extremely poseable transformer, you will have to dwell in 3rd Party for this one, Mastermind Creations Reformatted Optus Nox, he is like if there was an Amazing Yamaguchi transformer.
"Everybody knows Soundwave is my favorite decepticon"
Man has 3 soundwaves, and 7 optimus primes.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN!??
Lmao I don't normally see you around in fwoosh comment sections. Your stop motion animations are dope.
Sounds like companies need to make more Soundwaves!
Please?
@@TheFwoosh You should consider getting the ThreeZero BB-film Soundwave.
@@ceral1871 fr lmao its like seeing the power rangers meet the ninja turtles
Well, Soundwave IS the Boba Fett of the Transformers I.P. so it makes sense to me.
This line has been absolutely killing it. The Netflix series figures I’ve seen in person have crazy paint and detail
Ooooo, the Netflix look good too, I forgot about those.

yes, this is what we want. Dulcet Tones, so relaxing.

Was thinking the same thing, wouldn’t wanna permanently cover up an attachment point, that combined mode looks gorgeous
don't glue the loose leg piece, leave the cavity for the combination with jetfire later
I did not even think of that, thanks! That makes total sense.

I think I'm going to buy this for sure. It's so freaking awesome
Never a Fwoosh review without him telling us not to put at least something in our mouths so now I openly look out for him telling us to do so
Had to give it a like just for the intro!!! 🤣🤣🤣
This is the Optimas of my Childhood xD
I disagree Robo, Starscream is the star of Transformers, and I fully intended to type this before even realizing the pun I made.
I see what you did there! And so did Star Saber....
Yea DLX BB one is prefect, still on my wish list.
nice review
I allways loved optimus prime he's my hero partner main character ❤
Amazing ! Look forward to 18” premium version of this one.
ThreeZero has really been knocking it out of the park.
Those pieces do pop off on purpose actually there are several pieces that pop off because they are releasing a Jet Fire that combines with him.
Thanks for that, I didn't realize that may be the case. Brilliant!
@@TheFwoosh Yup. Np.
I can't wait for their MDLX line transformers.
Oooo, yeah, that's are even more up my alley.
I’m also waiting for mine to come in, can’t wait to display it with the jetfire pack, the prototype pics looks so damn awesome 🥳
looking forward to mine coming in at bbts soon! hopefully!
It doesn’t even look real, that’s how good it is lol.
Looks good.
I don’t even like transformers and I want this.. the detail is unreal
With all the removable parts in this figure, it is for the when they release Jet Fire so you can combine the two of them together
Me: I can’t buy it, it’s too expensive
Palpatine: You want this, don’t you?
Me: Yes.. but that price.. I can’t hit order!
Palpatine: *Dew it*
i thought you put a cgi model to the thumbnail until i had seen the video. this figure is amazing.
Threezero melhor marca de todas
I have the Bumblebee Optimus and Soundwave and was gonna stop there, but damn I think I'm gonna have to get this.
These are way too big for my shelves, but they look awesome. I do have the MDLX Optimus on pre-order.

Optimus and Wolverine would make for a legendary team up
Robo probably thought he was slick with that dammit open reference
The love and care in the details is amazing, but it also really reminds me how much I hated The Transformers movies.
Honestly, with as much articulation that they put into the whole figure, I don’t see why they didn’t give a set of hands with finger articulation
After comparing with movie, the scale it’s around 1/20~1/24
Looking good!
Thank you robo I was very bored hopefully we can see more dc multiverse
YAY WORDS!!
I think a big reason why some of the pieces come off so easily is so that the Jetpower pieces go on with less damage risk
This is great for people who like to work on engines.
What kind of glue would you use to stick the plastic parts between the lower legs?

Nice figure. Hope they introduce something that transforms for the price.
the torso on mine is incredibly tight, to the point where the bottom chunk will not move. is there a remedy for this?
It's so detailed it almost looks like it could actually transform
Awesome review bub🔪🔪🔪

Yes! Give it to me. Lol
I got into collecting transformers because of jobby the hong but I've never seen anything except BeastWars as a wee lad
I wonder what Robo makes of the Bumblebee Movie DLX Soundwave design
I’m probably not the only one to say this but those pieces in the legs come off like that because it’s gonna combine with the next figure coming out jetfire. I think lol
I describe figures like this as: Good for photography but not for play
Will you be getting threezero Voltron? What is your thoughts about it?
The stand plugs in where?
Posterior. Rump. Round the back. Square in the tail pipe.
2:19 it looked like a poster. Like it wasn’t even there lol
It’s nice! I own the threezero Optimus bumblebee movie version I still like that one better then this one. I think it has a lot more detail again that’s just me!
To the trained eye, this is a stylized version of the actual CGI model. The proportion is off and the shapes of the sculpted details are different.
Yeah, the figure has his torso slightly smaller and he's a bit leggier.

Buying one from sideshow Rn because of this video.
Woah I am early
Luv yur vids bye
Mine is coming by Wednesday
Does this figure come with the batteries?
I love optimus prime
Epic
the parts mostly fall off is because for the combined mode for dlx jetfire.
Take my money!! 💴
Does it have any diecast? Or just plastic?
I think when i get mine im just gonna glue the parts that come off easy cause im not gonna want jetfire

13:27 I'm waiting to pick mine up and I'm going to take the piece off. I never liked that piece of the design of Optimus.
funny to see how different you handle this figure compared to Surtur lol
no transform no buy! nice paper weight thou
Invalid.
Hey 😁
Yo can you check the Mezco skull death brigade action figure, it’s gorgeous

How much money did you have to pay Optimus Prime for the voiceover? He was brilliant !!!
Truck form?
No?
it doesn't transform?
No they sacrifice transformation for the extreme detail of the robot mode.
Optimum Pride
I'd like it could get even bigger like 30 cm tall.
No transformacion?
This figures cool and everything but it gives me anxiety 😅
Haha, I can see that.
Is this made of metal?
Idk.
Do mafex Bruce Wayne
You should do your research before u start gluing anything man. U myt regret it. 😄
