Clap for myself. 👏🏼😁 Thank you for the video!! 😊👍🏻
This is a great video - I just have to add as a former industrial cleaner that you should always clean the toilets LAST and wear a mask or bandana over your mouth while cleaning the toilet (it takes one rookie moment of experiencing spray to the mouth to get people to do this lol). In the same way that house cleaning works top down and dry to wet, bathroom cleaning works from least gross to most gross. You'll want to dispose of your gloves and change your clothes after washing toilets (the spray even from the most cautious cleaner would surprise you) because you don't want to carry any germs or soiling from the toilet to the rest of your bathroom as you clean, so it's easiest to leave it last and then you don't have to change gloves multiple times and worry about cross-infection.
I completely agree and I also have special bottle brushes to clean the sink and shower drainpipe. I find they’re prime places for filth to collect from soap and teeth cleaning
Same. Every single one of these videos I've watched is of a room that already looks clean, nothing like my house. Not everyone has a polished modern house like this. 🙄
You took the words right out of my mouth... I want to see an actual dirty bathroom to see the differences but her surfaces and places she cleans are already super clean. However, after much browsing, I at least found one channel that actually showed me the difference. In case you are interested 👉 ua-cam.com/video/U754kIgjhus/v-deo.html
I very much appreciate the desire for videos of cleaning dirtier spaces. HOWEVER, this stumbles upon the most important trick in cleaning anything: regular cleaning doesn’t allow the task to become huge and intimidating. I know you don’t want to clean any more often than necessary… but it’s not true. The longer we wait, the tougher and more disgusting the job becomes. I know it seems illogical to clean a shower, tub, toilet, floor and so on BEFORE it’s visibly in need, but putting it on a calendar and just doing it when it’s easier is quite rewarding, as it takes: ✅ less time ✅ less effort And it’s less stressful AND I’M NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT THE TASK! Everything looking, and actually being, cleaner all the time is life in another world. Imagine how often we come across these areas and how we feel (personally and when others are present) about clean vs dirty. It’s pride vs shame; stress vs calm.
Y’all, try to clean as often as possible so you don’t have so much to clean at once. The longer you wait to clean, the more dirt and mess you accumulate and the job gets tougher. If you don’t tidy and clean a little every few days but wait for weeks or months to tackle the mess-the cleaning process will take longer and you will deal with tougher buildups. I was going through a hard time and let myself go for a while, then, when I came back to my senses and started to get back on track-my goodness-I had so much shit to tidy and clean lol
Ive been stuck in a deep depressive rut lately, and am finally making my way back out of it. I really let things on the deep cleaning side go, and am ready to start tackling projects one at a time. Youre absolutely right about it being much faster to clean well, more frequently, than it is to try to "deep clean" only every so often!
@@NextLevelMeNow I'm really late to the part here, but Method and Grove Co are both eco-friendly and not too expensive! (and available at Target and a few other big box retailers)

My Computer desk is shared with my bedroom and it gets so cluttered. cords get dusty but are tangled it seems hopeless I spray air duster in bad areas while holding the vacuum hose close lol
@@nervousbabbs2769 I read it's not good to have computer desk in your bedroom, it is considered bad feng shui, so if you can, try to find another place! Or at least divide areas.. I have a multipurpose room that I find not easy to clean too: home office with spare couch/living area & a bit of kitchenette & storage for papers etc (but I sleep in another room that I try to keep free of papers & cords etc as much as possible! To be more relaxed and sleep better) I had to Google air duster, I wouldn't use it in bedroom, it probably just sprays air and dust around? At least air well after or use air cleaner or cover bed well and change bed linens after? Also protect your nose at least and lungs. That's what I try to do.. I wear a face mask when I vacuum, have had mold and yikes.. I hide cords under furniture as much as possible, there are YT videos how some people hide or even use command hooks or such to keep cords off floor - it's worst if they're on the floor.. I haven't managed to buy some yet, so I just use a broom and microfiber or other cleaning cloth (microfiber does grab dust better like Melissa says) Hope any of this helps, will also be interested to hear or see what Melissa says!
@@andreyav Thank you so much! I will youtube how to keep my cords better. I can't use microfiber around my pc as it generates static and can wipe my computer or at the least damage it. With the housing market like it is I don't see me even having this one tiny room much longer sadly. might end up homeless if roommate raises rent life is crazy rn lol

These are great! Definitely helping me keep my home clean. What is the recipe of the “general bathroom cleaner” you use to spray the outside of the toilet? Trying to make my own. Thanks again for all the great tips!
I honestly think sweeping the bathroom floor first is always a good idea. It's already gross and not getting that extra mess on your cloth makes it more efficient.
The tip about feeling the tub for soap scum was so helpful! Now I don’t waste time cleaning the tub in areas that don’t need it. Also ensuring that the tub and tiles are wiped dry after each use or at the end of the day has eliminated the need for weekly cleans. Instead it’s more like every two weeks or so of a “deep” clean

I would just like to add one more important ingredient: a good podcast or audiobook. Cleaning and housework is so unpleasant and listening to something that grabs my attention is the only way I can get through it. I disinfected my bedroom today after recovering from corona. Took the time to also declutter and threw away or passed on some old things. Thanks to a podcast I managed to take my time with this to ensure everything was disinfected. Now for the bathroom. Thanks for the tips. Update: Just finished cleaning the tub, which in my case had a bad case of scum underneath the tap. I'd also given up on ever being able to get the taps to shine again. This worked marvelously. I did use a bit of scrubbing action on the scummy parts but nothing excessive. Just a gently, simply scrub did it. I hope this helps anyone who has doubts on whether this actually works on a dirty tub. Remember to leave the soap/soda mixture for 5-10 mins before scrubbing. That seems to be the main way this softens the scum.
FYI... have marble countertops and ruined it by using vinegar. It etched it and left unsightly marks everywhere. So I would avoid using the vinegar recipes mentioned around your marble counters.

I wish my bathroom always looked like yours. I hate cleaning restrooms. With 2 boys it's tough but glad I found your video. I appreciate you telling us what to use.
The best solution I have found to keep this clean is to wipe it each time I clean the kitchen, that way it doesn't have a chance to accumulate. It is so much easier along with wiping out the interior of the microwave.

Excellent comments. I always leave the toilet for last. But, she did not mention how to clean shower head.
Really thanks for the comment i'll do that, really helped, have a great day😘❤
I completely agree and I also have special bottle brushes to clean the sink and shower drainpipe. I find they’re prime places for filth to collect from soap and teeth cleaning
@@DB-pm2vy Yeah u r right.
I always clean the toilet first, too!
45 years! And two bathrooms!
I want to see your methods on an actual dirty bathroom. Your house looked so clean before!
I want to know what foodshow are you a fan of....
This is what I was thinking
I very much appreciate the desire for videos of cleaning dirtier spaces. HOWEVER, this stumbles upon the most important trick in cleaning anything: regular cleaning doesn’t allow the task to become huge and intimidating. I know you don’t want to clean any more often than necessary… but it’s not true. The longer we wait, the tougher and more disgusting the job becomes.
I know it seems illogical to clean a shower, tub, toilet, floor and so on BEFORE it’s visibly in need, but putting it on a calendar and just doing it when it’s easier is quite rewarding, as it takes:
✅ less time
✅ less effort
And it’s less stressful AND I’M NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT THE TASK!
I was going through a hard time and let myself go for a while, then, when I came back to my senses and started to get back on track-my goodness-I had so much shit to tidy and clean lol
how often do you recommend a deep clean? once a week?
Ive been stuck in a deep depressive rut lately, and am finally making my way back out of it. I really let things on the deep cleaning side go, and am ready to start tackling projects one at a time. Youre absolutely right about it being much faster to clean well, more frequently, than it is to try to "deep clean" only every so often!
Eh..i wait 4 years to clean. 😑
KITCHEN, please do one for the KITCHEN. Also if you could make a video on a shopping list of cleaning materials for an apartment. That would be great.
Yes please! I am so clueless, and don’t want things that are bad for our bodies, but won’t break the bank!

You and I clean the toilet 100% the same way. I also have a plastic grocery bag hanging on the doorknob to put those soiled paper towels in so I don't have to touch them again. Just tie the top of the bag when finished and drop in the trash. Great video. Thnx!
I second that bag for the soiled paper towels - but PLEASE use biodegradable bags instead of plastic!!!
As a guy with adult sons, this is invaluable for me to clean a bathroom effectively and quickly!! Love the video and tips!!!!
Kitchen... grease can linger everywhere especially the oven!
Thank you for teaching us how to clean the bathroom efficiently and quick! Ive been using your technique for over a year now to clean my bathrooms. Now I can clean 3 toilets in 30mins! Which is pretty quick than what I used to take 😆
I used all your techniques to clean my bathroom and then showed my mom and she was so surprised how white everything looked (especially the tub and tiles)
So thank u
❤💛❤💛
🎉🎉🎉
Just finished using your techniques!! Super helpful, thank you. I cleaned the bathtub, mopped the floors, and then hopped in the shower to rinse off the soap suds and take a shower :)
What enzyme cleaner did you use?
I used the bathtub paste you recommended: 1/2 dishsoap, 1/2 baking soda + grapefruit essential oils. It was effective, green, and smells great! tysm!
Hate using the bathroom after it’s lovely and clean 😂
Me too😂😂😂

7 EXPERT CLEANING TIPS YOU NEED TO BE USING: ua-cam.com/video/-C-ic2H24OU/v-deo.html
I'm also just renting a room so I'm lucky to even use the kitchen and laundry room no real option to move things around. With the housing market like it is I don't see me even having this one tiny room much longer sadly. might end up homeless if roommate raises rent life is crazy rn lol

For the shower after I clean it, I wipe it down with a dryer sheet, then rinse. Smells amazing too.
Im so thankful for videos like that. I'm a teenager who has so to take care of our howl hose and siblings, and it's so much easier to clean with those videos. Tank you smm

So glad I’m not the only person who uses paper towel to clean my toilet!
Shelly D. I do and agree with you I think it’s gross when I see people using anything else on their toilet.
It’s disgusting. I would never use one of my reusable towels on it.
Nope, I do too. The thought of using cloth and then putting those cloths into my washing machine grosses me out big time.
I do too, just can’t handle the thought of using anything reusable for the toilet.

If I was your brother I'd obey you to the max, You are the one that is in total control.
Everyday, I'd come home from school and the 1 st thing I do, is give you my phone...don't want any distractions, then I do my homework, then all the chores for that day, which must be done to your satisfaction. Then do whatever you tell me to do with no back talk or arguing.
On the weekends, I'd do want you want me to do, Before I have my "Free time"

These are great! Definitely helping me keep my home clean. What is the recipe of the “general bathroom cleaner” you use to spray the outside of the toilet? Trying to make my own. Thanks again for all the great tips!
I honestly think sweeping the bathroom floor first is always a good idea. It's already gross and not getting that extra mess on your cloth makes it more efficient.
That's why I vacuum first (when the bathroom is dry, i.e. when it's been many hours since anyone showered/bathed).
You are still the easiest to listen to as you teach us different ways & tips for cleaning. Thank you.
I thought I was the only one that cleaned her bathroom floor that way. Great job! 🌹
Confession: I'm 17f and I've learnt roughly how to clean, but not a place that hasn't been used in 3-4 years. I haven't been able to properly clean my bathroom upstairs at my grandma's since I moved in in 2021. This will also be handy for university thank you so so much

I use a good microfiber mop, it is absolutely great. Her floor was already quite clean, but on the average dirty floor, her little microfibre cloth couldn't do the job, or it would need to be washed and rinced several times.

Cleaning your bathroom with long sleeve and jeans and not having your hair in a bun is wild
I Don't know why I ended up watching this, but I surprisingly enjoyed it !
Good timing! I was about to clean my bathroom.
Excellent!! Thanks for watching Angie :)

The underside of the microwave when it's above the stove! ugh.
Yeessss good one👍👍👍 i struggle with that part too😊
Good point... I too want to know how to clean base of microwave oven
I clean it RIGHT after boiling water on the stove, it breaks up more the grease and grime
The best solution I have found to keep this clean is to wipe it each time I clean the kitchen, that way it doesn't have a chance to accumulate. It is so much easier along with wiping out the interior of the microwave.
