You made the most clear and simple video on replacing a solenoid. I was able to fix 2 faulty solenoids and have my sprinkler system back in order. Thank you so much! You rock girl!
Thank you for sharing! Going to try to fix it on Monday. I was always nervous about the electricity, so I'm grateful to know that it isn't a concern. :-)
Just fixed it, thanks to you. I saved about $500 and it was so easy. I wll only watch your video's for anything needing to be fixed!
Awesome! You need to do this full time!! Your plain speak and simple explanations are gold.
AND - "you can do it yourself!!!!!"
You killed it! I just ordered two SOLENOIDS.
Love the “can do” attitude! Thank you!
Great directions. Thank you. Clear and simple. Great encouragement.
Thank you so much! You made it so simple and clear. Love it!
Fantastic video! Thank you so much👍💕
excellent! I'm a fit it kinda girl and I enjoyed your video. I"m gonna fix my system today. thanks!
You are amazing! I love your video with the "girl power" element in it. Thanks to you I fixed my solenoid with ease and confidence. In solidarity with you I also cut the electrical tape with my teeth:) Thanks!!
thanks for the demo and info, have a great day
Thank you , super simple and very informative
Thanks Nat, good and short.
Great simple video!
That was great I am going to fix mine tomorrow thank you for sharing
Thank you for this video!!
This is a great video. Thanks for saving time and money.
Very informative video 🙏🏽👍❤️
Thanks so much for this! Fixed my sprinkler!
Would definitely love to see a video on replacing the controller!
Maybe I *can* do this. Gonna try. Thx for great video! ❤
Hi, I like your video. Thanks
My favorite sprinkler guy
thank you for this!
Great job!
Best video I've seen :)
Thank you. It worked
You are amazing Nat!! Thank you so much for sharing.
well done! thx.
excellent video
Excellent! Love to see the ladies get involved! We can do it.
That's my next step thanks
Thank you!
Good job
awesome thanks.
Make sure you understand there are two wires . The common and the active. She talks about it being a ground. There is a difference between a ground and a common.
Hi Nat
Awesome video! I have a zone for the flowerbeds that won't turn off. Long story,, but I want to keep that zone shut. If I cut the wires to the solenoid, will that valve stay shut? Thanks a ton and hope you would respond to this. Jay. 🙏
I'm just a dude learning from a smart chick. 👋 Great video!
Thank you madam
I'll look in your other videos, but I found this one because I just turned my water on to the sprinklers, and one zone came on, and the sprinkler box was at to off. No zone should be running. I turned the water to the yard off, and am now researching what to do. If you have ideas, id love it!
I’m glad you didn’t have to use the circular saw
Wow! I love a lady that does not mind to get her hands dirty… and a beautiful one at that!
Thanks for sharing! I’m gonna use what I just learned from your video to fix mine!
My only addition, is that you should have used water resistant wire nuts. Your irrigation components are underground and exposed to water.
Thank you! Appreciate that reminder :)
Awesome
Exactly go girl gonna try this tomorrow!!! Thanks
You should put grease caps on the wires
Haha your funny... AND handy!!!!
I will give you advice based my experience.
When solenoid is not working The best is to replace valve and solenoid at same time.
OMG women are so much smarter. All these guys with their long dragged out video's with voltage meters LOL. I have been struggling for days trying to trouble shoot it until I stumbled upon your video. This just did the trick. Bought the part and YAS all is working perfectly. You go GIRL!!
Just curious what the reactions would be if the same statement was made yet sex was switched.
I came here just looking for helpful info.
Just curious about that ground wire she mentions for the solenoid. The two wires are the common and the active wire. Make sure you understand electrical wiring before you go talking smack about girls knowing more.
Hi Nat, great video!! But I have a question for you. All of my zones but one are working fine. And unlike the other zones, when I try manually turning it on, I get nothing. If it was a bad solenoid, then I assume that I'd at least get water coming out when I turn it on manually. Any suggestions?
Could be a diaphragm issue. I replaced my solenoid and diaphragm when this happened on two zones. It fixed one zone, it did not fix the other zone. The other zone comes on for about 5 seconds, then shuts off. How did you fix it?
@@dathomasii it turned out to be just that one bad solenoid.
@@dathomasii replace solenoid and valve at that zone.
Valve issue
All of my solenoids are under water along with all of the wires. Any suggestions?
I have Chain solenoid and diaphragm in this one zone still won’t work could it be the timer It works if I turn it on at the solenoid by hand HELP Please
My sprinkler comes on mulitple zones at the same time. Like turn on zone 3 and zone 5 comes on at sametime. How to fix that
My respect. ❤
Do you know why a single sprinkler of mine isn’t working? It’s not the whole zone. I’ve tried removing and cleaning the nozzle, changing the nozzle but didn’t help.
My DV 100s cracked. all of them. It's a nightmare
Does the power have to be shut off?
D Long Just unplug your timer if you’re concerned. Or turn it off temporarily. There’s no power to the wires and it won’t go on automatically while you’re working on it
Don't you need to turn the electricity off or is that not an issue?
Now that's girl power.
Thank you!
The connection must be waterproof. Look into fixing that, girl.
Don’t use pliers! You’ll strip the treads.
You don’t zoom in nearly enough!!!
Dam can cook as well ?
and your cute
first of all you never mentioned what your water source was because if it was reclaimed, potable, or a well with a pressure tank your not going to be just pulling that solenoid of without killing the pressure off of it first otherwise the zone will more then likely start and you will get a stream of water in ur face from under the solenoid. next that was a rainbird solenoid you just installed and i can tell you from experience that its alot more then 12 dollars 😂😂. then you wired the solenoid then said next to put your top on ..... ahh no that top will only be put on before those wires get tied together. thats why you didnt put it on when you said that. other then that your fault isnt always the solenoid either. it could be a bad connection or bad mod on the controller so i would test the voltage to the solenoid then the ohms from it at the controller to see what your working with first peace out
What a mess of an install….
Please get a better camera man
What the hell kind of mess you have behind you? How am I supposed to trust you?
fire your cameraman. need to focus on what your talking about instead of you
