My cat is 16 too. We grew up together. She watched me graduate elementary school, high school, and university. I moved out and took her with me.
I always struggle thinking about her going. She is my soul animal and I am happy that she is healthy now, but I know that can turn at any instance. It helps knowing others struggle with the same thoughts. It’s hard getting older. Im sorry about Snap ❤️
I went through this with my dog, we got her when i was 12 and i had to put her down last year when i was 29 and NOTHING prepares you for it, it’s like losing a sibling. Make some sort of preparations if that means looking for a kitten(s) or taking up a new hobby or talking to a friend about being able to come over and cry and talk. You will need a distraction for sure when she passes 😔 long live your kitty though 🤍
Sizing up those basegame plants is such a great way to get more coverage without overloading some people's computers.
Edit now that ive finished watching: I love the combo, park and wedding venu, wedding venues don't usually feel worth it to make just by themselves. And i love the atmosphere too!

I think the vet being willing to put Snap under anesthesia at her age for surgery is a testament to Snap’s good health. I know you mentioned that she has kidney problems and that anesthesia can be hard for her, but it really does sound like you’ve taken phenomenal care of Snap over the years., especially considering her age. Please take as much time as you need to help Snap with her recovery. Don’t feel guilty about it, either! You do so much for us, and we’re more than willing to wait a few days for content.
Just a friendly reminder for those with terrain glitches, saving doesn’t necessarily save the paint because it can delete on reload, make sure to *save the lot to your library often* to keep paint progress! It’s been a lifesaver for me! 🐰💕
One of the most fun uses of debug items I've seen is someone using them for landscaping around the bottom of the ladder from high school years. It made it look like the kid was actually sneaking out through the bushes to go party in the middle of the night. If they'd been normal bushes, the builder would have had to make a path through the bushes, which wouldn't have been as fun

Hi, Simsie, I'm not sure if you'll see this but I want to let you know -- do not worry about your video schedule. I had my tabby cat for 17 years, he was born in my entryway when I was 4. He fought like heck through kidney disease and I put my life on hold to take care of him, my best friend & little brother. If you need to take time off to be with Snap through this diagnosis & surgery, please don't worry about your video schedules. Videos can be rescheduled, our pet's lives cannot. You're amazing & stong and you and Snappy will get through this ♥

I'm so sorry about snap, within the past 2 years my world was flipped upside down with my childhood pets, it's the hardest thing in the world and you're allowed to tell us as little or as much as you want. I’ve had my kitty since I was 16, I’m 27 now and he’s been sick for a few months now with what they suspect is lymphoma. I’ve been comepletely devastated. Everyday is so uncertain and I understand your pain so badly. Take all of the time you need to focus on you and sweet little snap. Wishing her the best
I wish you and your cat all the best. I recently went through surgery with my cat and it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. It’s so hard to see them in pain. I found putting him in a small dog crate with kitty litter and water and a blanket covering the whole thing helped more than anything to keep my cat calm while still reeling from the surgery meds. They know your trying to help ❤ sending my love

i’m so sorry about snap. i’m going through the same thing with my dog, ava. she’s 13 years old and was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple weeks ago. based on her age and quality of life we decided not to treat it and instead focus on making her last couple of weeks as amazing as possible. it’s absolutely devastating for all of us. she’s been in my life since i was 7, for all the joys and struggles. it’s hitting my dog ivan really hard as well. ava is the love of his life. i’m not sure if he knows she’s dying or if he’s picking up on our emotions, but he’s had an increase in his anxiety and he has a hot spot from excessively licking himself for the first time in years. he is a very nervous cattle dog rescue, and ava has always been his security blanket.
I got married in a Victorian Orangery during the month of August and I can confirm it was sweltering hot 😅
Snap is going to pull through and you two and your void kittens will have plenty of time to cause chaos in the future. I’m wishing you and her all the best🌈❤️❤️

as someone who works in greenhouses the second two reference pictures are pretty accurate to large greenhouses so if you want aesthetic not industrial looking ones you definitely want small ones that arent meant for large scale plant growing lmao like probably not real greenhouses at all bc the stereotypical glass ones are home ones not what actual businesses use bc we do have heaters and stuff that make them SUFFOCATING in hot weather. Nice and toasty in winter tho lmao

This was so cute to see! Im getting married in two months in a greenhouse. I live in Sweden so were having the ceremony in an old castles garden which is kind of like a botanical garden and then were having the reception in a greenhouse on the grounds (Which only costs amazingly 200 dollars per hour to rent). This made me even more exciting for my wedding. Also hope all goes well with Kitty, I cant imagine how taxing that added fear is.

I have mostly planned 2 full weddings, one a beautiful beach wedding in the Bahamas, they have a beach with pink sand, destination wedding with a limited guest list, the ceremony starting at sunset. After party lasting into the night and everyone has sparklers and glow sticks.
2nd was a Tennessee mountain elvish wedding, huge guest list everyone can come, wedding is start of afternoon going into night, winter wedding, with. My pintrest board is full of ideas for both, only thing left to work out is thr groom...

One thing I noticed when I had a pond with ducks in my sims house was that eventually, they will have little baby ducks swimming around and it's honestly super cute
16:21 the best way to know if it’s just that is to do an experiment, put down some of every available terrain paint, then reload the lot on purpose and see if it is still there, do it with none of the terrain paint touching, some of the paint touching, all of the paint touching etc. etc.

Lilsimsie, I am sorry to hear about Snap your cat with cancer. Last month had to put ours down due to it being around her lungs.

Kayla, I gotta say I feel you with the cat thing. We seem to have had similar experiences with our cats. I got her at 9, she was attached to my hip almost immediately, we moved out to college together, and she’s been getting sick since we moved out 2 years ago. I can fully understand how hard getting any kind of news about your little baby can feel. My missy doesn’t have cancer but she does have kidney issues that we can’t seem to get under control. I feel you so hard girlie I love you and I’m praying for Snap!❤❤❤❤

My aunt and uncle had their rehearsal dinner in a greenhouse like this and I think about it every single day it was so gorgeous
I used the greenhouse from debug once in one of my witches gardens can’t remember quite how I got it to work but I think I used a basement and raised it up out of the ground so basically it wasn’t covered but it worked great put down flooring ect and added so many plants and bookshelves cauldron and tables chairs ect .. it would look beautiful as a wedding venue !! I’m going to do that later now haha and my dream wedding is also in an orangery or a glass house so beautiful and having the windows and doors open and having some fabric swags on the ceiling to create shade it wouldn’t be too hot especially since I live in the uk it rarely gets hot enough 😂
