Hi Felipe, we are currently equipping our Matrice 210 V2 with an aftermarket PPK kit, 48MP RGB camera and a LiDAR sensor. Once we have it set up we'll do some tests, and obviously be using the RS2 as a PPK base station.
Thank you for this great webinar. So if I understand correctly, in order to determine the precise location of the RS2 with PPK (step 1), you still need to have the logs of a nearby base station recording logs too, right? Then (step 2), you can use that precise location and the logs of the drone to post-process the metadata of the images. But then, why cant we just remove step 1 and take the logs of the nearby base station to post process the images of the drone?
Thank you very much for this instruction, I have a question, what is the precision using the DJI DRTK-2 station, because you refer to the cost but not to the precision and if the precision is better than what is obtained, the price is irrelevant. Please could you do the same job with a DRTK-2 base so that we can judge all teams equally and thus we would have an excellent judgment base to make decisions. Thank you from Ecuador.
Hi Mags, thank you for your video suggestion! Though, we can hardly comment on the specifications of this base station since it is not an Emlid product.
Hi Ben, we've tested RS2 only with P4RTK, but the setup is the same. DJI RTK drones are using the NTRIP to receive the corrections, so you can use our NTRIP Caster to transmit corrections. Please check this guide to find more info: docs.emlid.com/reachrs2/tutorials/integration/p4p-rtk/
P.S. Some of our users already work with Reach and DJI Matrice 300 RTK. You can ask about their experience in our user group: facebook.com/groups/emlid :)
Hi Chris, such a setup is possible only with Reach RS2. Reach RS+ is a single-band receiver, while DJI Phantom 4 RTK requires multi-band corrections to calculate the fix solution.
Hi Leonard! DJI RTK drones use the NTRIP to receive the corrections, so you can use Emlid NTRIP Caster to integrate it with Reach RS2. To find more information about such setup, please check out our step-by-step guide: docs.emlid.com/reachrs2/tutorials/integration/p4p-rtk/
Thank you! Very interesting talk!
Thanks Rory a really useful and insightful video.
Excellent video!
It would be interesting a webinar about a lidar system operated with a RS2 as base station.
Hi Felipe! We recommend you to check this one: ua-cam.com/video/f7EUnwJcRKs/v-deo.html

Looks interesting as a webinar
Gracias... Excelente explicación...
Thank you for the instruction. Could you tell me the name of the mentioned course from the University of Philadelphia?
Nice
Please can I use any gnss receivers as base station when using the phantom 4 RTK
Hi @Emlid, in the PPK mode the Drone was also connected to the Base? But in this case without sending any correction?

My question. Works the System with the M300?
Hi, thanx for this video, but I failed with my M30T... Maybe there's a point I didn't understood, I don't find my mystake. An idea ?

Привет! Это соединение может работать без интернета, просто через локальную сеть в модеме?

How does it work with the DJI 300 and how is the ntrp connected to the 300?

Is this same process achievable with RS1 units?
Hi Chris, such a setup is possible only with Reach RS2. Reach RS+ is a single-band receiver, while DJI Phantom 4 RTK requires multi-band corrections to calculate the fix solution.

In spanish please
Hi there, Spanish subtitles are coming soon :)
