Love this build - I've always struggled with pChrono but this is very similar to the cVirt I'm used to. One question: after the Continuum Split in the opener, what should you do when it comes back off cooldown? Save it for double Gravity Well, save it for when your phantasms + signet are off cooldown, or...?
I really like Mesmer because of it's uniqueness but I am having a very hard time with it because I just can't seem to stay alive for long even. I don't know how to sustain and stay alive basically and as for damage, i'm not sure but rotations are a bit confusing for me.. Maybe i am just used to braindead classes like Reaper since that's the one I started with and kept playing. Any tips?
Is reaper easier? I returned to the game recently and I love my chrono, but it's like a completely new game to me now. I can stay alive with it and love the gameplay, but this new rotations are really confusing to me and I suck at complicated rotations.

I think that without GS you actually lose a little bit of uptime due to the GS and domination trait summoning an additional phantasm. So on paper you would be missing an application of quick/alac. But that has been my experience at least on the golem vs trying quic/alac with focus.@@MaselMMO
Just tried it out in golem and i took a very good dps. The good thing is that this rotation works for power boon chrono as well (with a small dps decrease, obviously), so I got 3 builds in 1!
In domination take Bountiful blades instead of Empowered Illusions for more clone generation, and swap focus for greatsword, and swap Disenchanter for Mantra of Pain. then ofc pick your alac or quick trait in chrono :) or you can just use the quick or alac trait and maybe have enough clones, probably a bit less damage, but super ez switch
@@MaselMMO one more question :) i have problem with keeping alacrity up. quickness is easy, i shatter and there it is. but alacrity is a problem for me - would you recommend adding some concentration? or some other solution? or it's just a matter of becoming more familiar with this build?
@@pietruszkapietruszkowa9713 if you reset your phantasms with the ether signet and use shatters, you should have more than enough alacrity. In general open world roaming with mobs, the problem is that clones get removed frequently, reducing the amount of alac you get from shatters. It should be good enough if you prioritze phantasms and use signet of inspiration while alac is up.
@@pietruszkapietruszkowa9713 remember that alac on you is stronger on you but has less duration on you. although it is still possible to have 100% alac, compared to quickness its going to be harder. hope that was the reason
Dagger is hard to replace, you can use a greatsword for starters. That works just fine! Make sure to change to Bountiful Blades in Domination if you do that!
Any chance you can help me improve? I know on this attempt I messed up a bit with the wells and I think I did a bad signet usage once too, but I think generally I was reasonably close to your rotation. However, I'm still about 6k dps off on most attempts. Only thing that is sub-optimal gear/stat wise is exotic chest and legs with no dps infusions, otherwise everything else is ascended. dps report slash IfXQ-20230908-192937_golem

Depends on what you need. For insane cc, you can use itbon another gravity well. Otherwise, you'd want to reset shatters and phantasms

@@myselfme767 Yeah, reaper is very simple imo, no complicated rotations which is why it is a very difficult change for me to play Mesmer.

So just to be sure, you always use CS with no clone or juste in the opener?
Does this translate well to Boon support or are there key ability/rotation changes that would be needed?
No changes needed, you can play quick and alac the same way :)

Great helpful video. What mods are you running that puts your party/squad in the larger boxes vs the tiny box / portrait ones.
The green boxes you mean? That’s built in to the game not a mod.

Might be a dumb question since you are using thief relic. But isnt fireworks better or is it on a purpose to purpose basis?

I thought using accuracy sigils was a no-no because your phantasms don't inherit the 7% crit chance?
Its true that they dont, it still gets me higher damage than impact. In the end, it depends on the amount of breakbar phases which one is better

I'm so used to GS - D/Sw rotation and tbh i would love to use this build. And you can just switch to boon support with only 1 trait change
