hey muk, really cool how much you like this build, its really visible. i know testing all the boon-dps might have been not exactly what youre used to as a heal-main, but it seems to have paid off, considering you discovered this =) untamed has been one of the builds that i have been eye-ing constantly lately, because although herald is really good it does get kind of boring playing it all the time. anyway, nice vid!
Thanks for this video Mukluk. I haven’t been playing my Ranger/Soulbeast, since I started playing the lazy rifle Mechanist. I never really learned how to play Untamed but I did try it out a couple times. With this video I think I’ll try Untamed again and learn the rotation properly. Update: I used this build for my first play through of Janthir Wilds, and it worked great. I'm thinking that I will also practice with the rotation a bit (I'm not great at remembering when to use the Unleash feature, and often don't even know which is unleashed, me or the pet), and then I'm going to try to find a group to get back into Fractals and Raids and Strikes. As you said, I think this will be a great build for group content, to assist with boons and bringing the "Oh Sh!t" elite skill when things go sideways. Thanks again for this video and the explanation.
My biggest issue as a new ranger is figuring which unleash I am in… why do I have to look at my pet skill icons to know what state I am in? Give me a “ranger shroud” or something more visible instead of some tiny arse icon that changes color…
You or your pet are covered in the green cloudy effect depending on who's unleashed. It's hard to see if you're in a 10 man stack but there is definitely a decent visual display of who is unleashed. Also if you are unleashed there is a green wispy flame around your health globe.
@@Northernsolstice I have lived in shroud for a year, so my perception skills for little things like a stink cloud around my pet is a bit muted in comparison, but I will look for that flame around my health globe - that might be enough!
@@Northernsolstice yes but if they played on lower graphic(like me) those green gooey thing is not visible so you have to constantly looking at your pet skill if its green or not
@@CowcaineHA Yeah, I think it's easier to tell when using hammer because then you have clearly different icons for your weapon skills when you're unleashed. But now if you're using like Sword/Axe + Mace/Mace you have to rely on the pet skill icons.
Untamed is my favorite elite in the game by far. It's my go to for WvW roaming for both power and condi, and my open world build of choice. 10 out of 10.
The weapon swap ambush thing took me a bit to grok because I was just trying it in air. Seems like that second ambush only works when you are in combat. I see the buff pop up that SHOULD give you ambush on weapon swap, but it does not do it unless you are in combat. Had to go find your video about how to find the golem dummy, first time I ever used it. Mobs in the wild were dying too fast to easily test it out. Really love the dual mace. I fell in love with the hammer when moshing through PoF and EoD for skill points, thinking I might go with mace/mace + hammer for fun. I don't really care about dps or how effective I am. I know one of those specialist traits works better with a sword. hammer has good cc again though so cc damage would be high all the time. I don't know bosses well enough to really know when I should be CCing, so doing it all the time by accident might be the way to go, lol.
I'm a bit mad at myself for waiting so long to play Untamed... Made a ranger waaaay back last year when I had a spare slot (mostly for key farms) but the early playstyle just didnt vibe with me at the time, so i just grabbed my key and deleted them. Recently made a new one, with the level boost from Janthir preorder i had sitting around, and holy shit. Untamed (and ranger in general) are waaaay more enjoyable than i remember, I've just been running around blasting metas and what not just on that, Mace/Mace + Sword/Axe is way more enjoyable than i thought it would have been! Hopefully im not too terrible at Druid or Soulbeast, later on lol... Still gotta fill out my pet menagerie too... Thanks for the vid, Muk ❤
A little note for those who wants to play Untamed: You can also use Axe/Axe instead of Sword/Axe in the open world. Your Axe Unleash skill deals very high damage from a range of 900 to up to 5 targets and immobilizes them.(which is a little CC) For extra quickness, You entered combat, unleash it and give it quickness, do not change weapons, use your skills during this time. When the unleash icon appears, give quickness again then switch to 2nd weapon and give quickness again. When you switch to the 2nd weapon and give it quickness, before going back to the 1st weapon, unleash it again(after 10sec) and give quickness, then switch weapons and give quickness again, so you can see that you have 100% boon uptime.
The only problem with this combination is that axe off hand has the highest damage out of the five skills, including the ambush. And with axe main hand you don't have a gap close kind of abilities, meanwhile sword has two, in 2 and 3 buttons. So, even considering this minor cc, i still think sword axe seems more natural, even considering axe 4 is a pull kinda abilitiy.
As a person who recently switch to ranger, this is a pretty fun build. Somewhat unforgiven on rotation mistakes but yea contrary to other people videos that mention is very heavy on weapon swap... I really didn't find it that way.
I don't usually have a problem with herald but that comes down to just knowing which legend you want to be in at any time and adjusting. This looks interesting though, I haven't done much with my ranger lately so, good excuse as any to try this out for something different.
This does look fun both for pve and open world, might have to try it. Always been looking for a good build for my ranger, who is my oldest character, other than healer Druid
I've been using this build for awhile and love it! Only thing that's different for my build is I use 1 piece of Divner's gear to help make keeping quickness up a little easier for me and I use hammer instead of sword/axe.
High utility great self sustain is also the reason I like Quick Scrapper, you can often ignore so many mechanics in open world and you are still providing AOE barrier with Bulwark gyro, AOE healing with the Heal Turret and reviving people with Function Gyro, and if you really need more healing you have the Rapid Regeneration trait.
@@frederikpalmdahl7617 Teapot also agrees that Ele needs a rework of its utilities and that it's the only class that has to make trade offs, which feels bad because no other has to. Of course it can do 42k dps, but that shouldn't be the only metric.
@@frederikpalmdahl7617 Mukluk, Teapot, and other creators have repeatedly acknowledged that lately it's ele that's stuck making actual tradeoffs between damage and utility/survivability. Damage is not the only important thing. If damage was the only thing that mattered, you'd see 10-weaver clears of Cerus LCM. Meanwhile, as Muk has demonstrated above - Untamed has survivability, damage, substantial self-healing, and utility. Weaver has... damage and a minimal self barrier application.

9:33 So what I'm hearing is that with a group of 4 untamed dps and 1 weaver, the weaver might actually have enough uptime to perform their full rotation. :3
Hi I found 2 problems in this video. both are small. 1) Mace mechanic. Around 5:12 there is a misinformation. it is not every 5 mace skill. mace skills gives stacks. if it is 5 stack, it will do the reset and damage boost. the difference is: mace 5 gives 2 stacks and ambush/auto attack 3 only gives stacks if you don't have 4 already. and on 5:45 "everything but the 4" is misleading, because it implies that it was 4 that did the reset, but in reality it was the skill used before it. (And 4 was pressed after the reset) 2) Frost trap combo: Why? this build has 2 combo field: 1 ice from the trap and 1 poison from pet unleashed 3. ice+whirl do chill. more chill is good but it is not really matters. ice+mace 3 (blast) gives frost aura (damage reduction) poison+whirl apply poison so it is damage increase (if executed right) and with blast it is weakness. pet unleashed skill 2 also do blast finisher Extra) healing spring: don't forget the utility of condition cleansing and blasting the water field. Also don't forget the minor grandmaster untamed trait: Vow of the Untamed. it gives you damage reduction for the cost of damage reduction, if you ever need to tank something as backup.
Hey muk :) I see this build has a lot of CCs. So maybe look into "Relic of the Midnight King". I think with this build you can provide 20 might and a high uptime if not 100% uptime of Fury.
Note: The maces come with a unique stacking mechanic. If you stack 5 of that mechanic, you will get a dps boost for a few seconds and ALL mace skill cooldowns will reset. The 3rd auto attack, as well as the ambush, give 1 stack, but can't give the 5th stack. So no entering the dps boost by just auto attacking. Skills 2-4 give 1 stack, skill 5 gives 2 stacks. So it's best if you use skills 2-4 before 5, because you can fit in one more skill before having the cooldowns reset.
ok ranger used to be my main but i use herald as my quick, but this build i'm having so much fun with that i might actually just use this instead of herald for quick in raids and such, because qherald is such a snoozefest. maybe cuz i played it so much but still, this is refreshing and i feel so useful
the Sword/Axe or Axe/Axe is the Standard, from there you can add either Great Hammer, Long Bow, or Mace/Mace (I think Hammet most dmg, then Long Bow, then Mace/Mace)
I've tried it with every weapon and although the build WORKS with longbow (all the boons will be there) there will be a significant damage drop. After you use longbow rapidfire and barrage you are just auto attacking which is very low damage when stacked with a group.

Does the cooldown to get the ambush on unleash countdown even when you are unleashed? I.e. can you unleash pet, do pet skills, unleash you, ambush weapon swap ambush, and just stay unleashed until the cooldown is up. Then unleash pet and start again? I guess are you mainly unleashed or pet mainly unleashed?
Correct! You get bonuses for being unleashed, so you stay unleashed near 90% of the time. The only time in the normal rotation you are NOT unleashed is during the "unleash pet -> pet skills -> unleash self .... part (or any other time you need the pet unleashed buttons for utility reasons.
It should, from a functional standpoint as long as you're doing that ambush -> weapon swap -> ambush combo that muk talked about it should still provide 100% quick uptime and what not.
@@dackmarful The sword/axe does far more damage, the mace/mace set does less damage, but more utility things. So you want to keep going back and forth between them to use all their skills.
I love untamed, but I use different weapons. axe/mace for all the possible hits aswell as convenience for pve, multishot for wvw, which plays much like glass arrows SoOSC ranger. Under the right conditions you can maintain fortification with this set.
This build is bonkerz. I haven't played SOTO yet so I can't use the maces. (just finished PoF) But hammer + sword/axe is sooo good. The Raptor SUCC attack + Hammer unleached spin2win is the best thing ever. :D
I've been playing P Unleashed for a phew months already, without a doubt the best class for open world if you want to fight anything and don't die The only bad thing is the longbow, it's synergy with the ambush attack is not that good but its still usable
thank you for this! Love the name mace for Ranger and the utility it brings. Would it be worth adding some Diviners gear in to boost the duration of the boons or not worth it?
Is it a reason you dont mention the viability of using this build in Fractals? If we have a aHeal it would be ok, right? (The reason why i'm asking is because Metabattle doesn't list quick power untamed as a fractal build, but it should be good, right?)
I put group or solo in the title, if I was unclear it would absolutely be fine as the QDPS in any party, including 5 man content. You would find an alac healer to pair up with.
Thank you for the reply. I was just wondering because Metabattle made a distinction for the build. I had a feeling that it would be fine in Fractals as well, but I could've been missing some niche reason why it wouldn't
What is your opinion on putting one piece of gear in Diviner? When i play full Berserker Q Untamed, I feel like i need to have perfect timing with my quickness rotation but adding some extra boon duration helps on making the tight rotation time feel better.
The fireworks rune is 25% boon duration, and Lingering Magic in the nature magic traitline gives you another 16%. With this build that puts you at 7 secs of quickness per ambush, so 14 seconds generated every 11 or so seconds. You should be just fine with berserkers, but you're welcome to take more boon duration while you learn the build.
I agree with what @campioneri said! BUT, if you feel you are struggling to keep up, there is nothing wrong with swapping some bers gear for concentration. Just know what your tradeoffs are. Each piece you change will slightly lower your damage, but make boon uptime easier. If you get to the point where you can easily keep those boons up, I recommend swapping it back to full berserkers. The trait + rune gives more than enough once you can play it smoothly.
@@MuklukUA-cam Oh, I didnt really notice it was RUNE fireworks. I thought you were talking about the Relic. What I have is Scholar (which is the normal power dps untamed build which i basically use the same for qdps). With the trait and one Diviner I am at 25% boon duration (so same as only fireworks) I am at 12-13s every rotation. So I guess your build would allow for more wiggle room for that as the rotation can be quite tricky to maintain full time in some situations. Thanks both for the quick explanation and sorry for the misunderstanding.
Yes, it works with any weapon. As a quickness provider any two sets of weapons will upkeep perma quickness. This is just the highest dps option. I would not recommend staff, shortbow, or any offhand but axe and mace as those are condi or support weapons and you will see huge dps losses. But greatsword, longbow, hammer, mainhand axe, and mainhand dagger are all good choices if you prefer any of them.
The condi version of the build plays very similar to the power version, so you can use shortbow with ritualists/vipers if you want. The shortbow unleashed is pretty clunky feeling, so I use dagger/torch and axe/dagger.
How does that elite skill revive? I know that will seem like a newb question, but it says it flips conditions - is the downstate condition then flipped to “upstate”?…
The spirit pounds the ground to res 5 people and with the trait that makes it pound 2x it then res 10. Kind of funny if you cast it right before you drop and self res
The slam part of the spirit is the 2nd box for the skill if you hover over it. Should be called Nature's Renewal. As @bcroswell says that's the part that does the revive.
@@kessy628 thanks. I do not see that when I hover over it in guides, so that might be the problem. I will check in game when I get home to see what I am missing.
I love the maces so much...I've been doing axe/warhorn with maces in open world and it's ridiculous....may try this version in group content. I, too, like to be useful.
This seems pretty good, tbh I have played a lot of SB (in open world) and never given the Untamed a chance; these stinky animations get under my skin 😁
@MuklukUA-cam What is your opinion on ranger pets? Do you think they need to be reworked? This could be me being mistaken, but the vast majority of pets seem useless (useless is probably too strong of a word, but i cant think of another one right now 😅)

@@nickverschoore4351 The mace/mace is more about extreme utility than pure damage. It has a lot of CC Contributes a lot of boons Removes conditions from self AoE healing Barrier on self You can swap it out if you wish but that is what you would be losing.
Nature magic eh? Other than empowering the 5 man rez, I'm not sure why this is the play. The elephant in the room with Untamed right now, is how absolutely broken Carnivore is (the gm trait of Wilderness Survival. 2-2-1 is what you see for open world builds). You should give it a whirl Muk. If you think your version is busted, you're in for a treat. Carnivore can go through a deadly golem field with ease.
Nature magic is taken for a variety of reasons for group content. In groups you should have plenty of boons, so Bountiful Hunter's should easily rival the flat 10% damage increase traits in Wilderness Survival or Marksmanship. Additionally, the minor traits give you flat concentration which helps you have a buffer for your quickness output so you can confidently run full berserkers gear for damage, and fortifying bond copies boons you receive to your pet, causing your pet to do a lot more damage passively. These minor traits make the build do more damage in a raid scenario than Wilderness Survival, and on-par damage with Marksmanship while bringing more utility and boon uptime. Wilderness Survival is a solid choice for open-world though.
Nature magic bountiful hunter gives bonus damage per boon on you, so it is usually 10-13% bonus damage. Not as much as marksmanship but still solid. Fortifying Bond makes your pet always have boons in group play, where they would not otherwise, leading to another increase in damage utility. Lingering Magic reduces how much concentration you need on your equipment, allowing for full zerkers Nature's Vengeance is just nice to have for doubling the power of the storm and nature spirits. So those are the reasons I was taking Nature Magic. I have done testing with marksmanship and didn't care for it, but I haven't tried wilderness survival with this, I will have to do so!
Started using this build with axe-axe-great sword, thought I might swap out the great sword for something else as I'm not loving it. I just happened to have the great sword. I love playing it just not great at the rotation, I'm a bit of a masher, lol 🤣

Just a tip, in unleashed pet, the optimal order you should do is F1, F3, F2. F3 is a field and you want to blast that field with F2.
That's a small tip I never considered, thanks!
Thanks for this, I set the F1-3 keys as my MMO mouse scroll wheel which has three click buttons and this is the most natural way of pressing the row in this order
I just came back to GW2 after a long break. Just finished up the Icebrood Saga and didn't even realise that I've got access to Maces now. Thanks.
Maces are specific to Secrets of the Obscure, so bear that in mind.
Keep roasting weaver, so Anet need to listen.
hey muk, really cool how much you like this build, its really visible. i know testing all the boon-dps might have been not exactly what youre used to as a heal-main, but it seems to have paid off, considering you discovered this =)
untamed has been one of the builds that i have been eye-ing constantly lately, because although herald is really good it does get kind of boring playing it all the time.
anyway, nice vid!
Thanks again for this video and the explanation.
being a ranger is already better than weaver
@@Northernsolstice yes
but if they played on lower graphic(like me) those green gooey thing is not visible so you have to constantly looking at your pet skill if its green or not
@@CowcaineHA Yeah, I think it's easier to tell when using hammer because then you have clearly different icons for your weapon skills when you're unleashed.
Take a shot every time Mukluk roasted weaver ever since its video.
I was just getting burned out on soul beast dps. I can't wait to try this.
A little note for those who wants to play Untamed:
You can also use Axe/Axe instead of Sword/Axe in the open world.
Your Axe Unleash skill deals very high damage from a range of 900 to up to 5 targets and immobilizes them.(which is a little CC)
For extra quickness,
You entered combat, unleash it and give it quickness, do not change weapons, use your skills during this time.
Mukluk, thank you very much for sharing, great job, well done!!
Mukluk may say otherwise but THIS VIDEO IS A GUIDE!!
This does look fun both for pve and open world, might have to try it. Always been looking for a good build for my ranger, who is my oldest character, other than healer Druid
After a good while using this build in raids, strikes, and open world, this is a very solid build. Hard to go back to SB or Druid.
I've been using this build for awhile and love it! Only thing that's different for my build is I use 1 piece of Divner's gear to help make keeping quickness up a little easier for me and I use hammer instead of sword/axe.
This is my fav open world build I have been using :D
High utility great self sustain is also the reason I like Quick Scrapper, you can often ignore so many mechanics in open world and you are still providing AOE barrier with Bulwark gyro, AOE healing with the Heal Turret and reviving people with Function Gyro, and if you really need more healing you have the Rapid Regeneration trait.
quick scrapper was another build I loved after trying all the boon dps!
I hope your weaver trashtalking will actually make Anet devs to take a look at it
Why would they? Just because Mukluk couldn't manage to figure out how to play it doesnt mean it's bad lol
🤜🎯🤛
@@frederikpalmdahl7617 if i like ele and like to play it, its cool and great.
But in comparing it to adere clases and specs it do just dps and its chalengeing. I like Tempest but i get dificulty playing with groups...🫣🐣🫣
I love how excited you get with ranger
9:33 So what I'm hearing is that with a group of 4 untamed dps and 1 weaver, the weaver might actually have enough uptime to perform their full rotation. :3
Okay, you've convinced me. Now I have to leave my comfy spot in the Echovalds, go to Draconis Mons to get my little tiger buddy, and slay some bosses.
the link to the build isn't working for me, I'm in your discord but cant seem to see that channel
Fixed, thanks!
The link for the build/Discord doesn't work.

Hi
I found 2 problems in this video. both are small.
(And 4 was pressed after the reset)
2) Frost trap combo: Why?
this build has 2 combo field: 1 ice from the trap and 1 poison from pet unleashed 3.
ice+whirl do chill. more chill is good but it is not really matters.
ice+mace 3 (blast) gives frost aura (damage reduction)
poison+whirl apply poison so it is damage increase (if executed right) and with blast it is weakness.
pet unleashed skill 2 also do blast finisher
Extra) healing spring: don't forget the utility of condition cleansing and blasting the water field.
Also don't forget the minor grandmaster untamed trait: Vow of the Untamed. it gives you damage reduction for the cost of damage reduction, if you ever need to tank something as backup.
You are making me wanna try ranger again and bring back that toon from the shadow realm
I had never put hero points into untamed until I watched this. It's now my main.
Hey muk :)
I see this build has a lot of CCs. So maybe look into "Relic of the Midnight King". I think with this build you can provide 20 might and a high uptime if not 100% uptime of Fury.
Think more like 25 might and easy 100% fury, that relic's really good.
This class looks amazing :o btw I love the hat on for character :)
Interesting, I am going to test this one, I have main soul best but sometimes I feel like a lack of utility apart from the dmg.
Thx for the build I love it :)
Just picked hammer instead of axe/sword
You know, just more bonking..
ok ranger used to be my main but i use herald as my quick, but this build i'm having so much fun with that i might actually just use this instead of herald for quick in raids and such, because qherald is such a snoozefest. maybe cuz i played it so much but still, this is refreshing and i feel so useful
Do you have a variant that uses longbow? Until Dragon Bash is over, I need a build that still lets me push vets out of the stack with longbow 4.
the Sword/Axe or Axe/Axe is the Standard, from there you can add either Great Hammer, Long Bow, or Mace/Mace (I think Hammet most dmg, then Long Bow, then Mace/Mace)
I've tried it with every weapon and although the build WORKS with longbow (all the boons will be there) there will be a significant damage drop. After you use longbow rapidfire and barrage you are just auto attacking which is very low damage when stacked with a group.
@@MuklukUA-cam I love that this community and Muk give me useful advice after I make a tired joke about bad behavior in Holo Stampede. :D No gag falls too flat to be useful!
@@hqueso I'm going to be honest. I had many people in this comment section ask about longbow, I made a copy paste and was using it to answer all of them at once. I did NOT read the part about you pushing things out of the stack until this very moment
@@MuklukUA-cam No problem! it was good advice! And just for you, a Dragon Bash haiku:
Holograms appear.
The vet pin'd down in the pile.
It's Longbow 4 time!
This is the most fun build in the game, hands down, the only thing that comes close was 2016 power tempest dagger/warhorn
Cant wait to test this in fractals. This is huge!
Quick question just out of curiosity... Would this build also work with mace/mace - hammer?
Edit: Awesome, ty all ^^
It should, from a functional standpoint as long as you're doing that ambush -> weapon swap -> ambush combo that muk talked about it should still provide 100% quick uptime and what not.
Yes! In terms of pure damage sword/axe will pull ahead of hammer, but if you just really like hammer it does function just fine.
Also, hammer provides barrier and other boons. And have stronger defiance break abilities.
Edit: Nevermind, I watched the whole video again and saw how thoroughly you explained it. Any idiot can follow what you said, even me.
This build is very fun! Though I have a hard time giving up my hammer so I go for hammer/mace+mace
Hammer is too fun to give up
Do you use the purple hammer skill or only the green ?I'm not familiar with hammer
Fun drinking game, take a shot every time muk says 'now'
I like this new series.
After you done: I tried all dps. Are you gonna do a: I tried everything? 😅
By then it will be "I tried XX Class with Spears"
Any recommendation for a ranged second weapon?
Please can you tell me which food you use, for this build thanks.
Typically I just use the ascended power feasts. There may be something even better I didn't test various foods out.
Dumb newbie question but why not mace/mace since you described mace as being more utility? Unsure if I just missed it or ....
I don't understand the question, could you rephrase it?
@MuklukUA-cam
You seemed to prefer being in mace and I didn't understand why you had sword/axe at all.
@@dackmarful The sword/axe does far more damage, the mace/mace set does less damage, but more utility things. So you want to keep going back and forth between them to use all their skills.
@@MuklukUA-cam Thank you! I appreciate the answer.
0:23 Cue Simpsons' meme "Stop, he's already dead!"
question, what food should i use for PvE content? thank you
I've been playing P Unleashed for a phew months already, without a doubt the best class for open world if you want to fight anything and don't die
The only bad thing is the longbow, it's synergy with the ambush attack is not that good but its still usable
what are your thoughts on using Dragon stats for the concentration and ferocity with this build?
thank you for this!
My main ❤❤❤. Also, if you use brown bear as a pet, you have a stronger heal and also have another source of invulnerability.
@@MuklukUA-cam
Oh, I didnt really notice it was RUNE fireworks.
Just use soul pastry for food
I'm totally impressed 😁
well thats it ! I'm making one, thank you
Does this work with more thematic weapons? Long or short bow as the other set instead of the sword/axe?
Shortbow is condition based so wouldn't do that. Longbow can replace sword/axe but you will take a loss to your damage output.
The shortbow unleashed is pretty clunky feeling, so I use dagger/torch and axe/dagger.
for what freezing trap if build without marksmanship's last passive for 15% strike dmg?
can i use this build for support dps in wvw zerg ? just thinking out of box ...
Nice build Muk!
The slam does a revive, then the shake does the condition thing you mentioned, than the trait makes it slam again for more revives.
@@kessy628 thanks. I do not see that when I hover over it in guides, so that might be the problem. I will check in game when I get home to see what I am missing.

I dream of getting good enough at playing GW2 to res myself with this elite skill.
I wonder how much of a dps loss dual axe would be. Having range is sometimes really nice.
I love the maces so much...I've been doing axe/warhorn with maces in open world and it's ridiculous....may try this version in group content. I, too, like to be useful.
This seems pretty good, tbh I have played a lot of SB (in open world) and never given the Untamed a chance; these stinky animations get under my skin 😁

condi quick is way more fun and not harder to play :D
Way less CC though
Thank you, that was fast 😄
@MuklukUA-cam What is your opinion on ranger pets? Do you think they need to be reworked? This could be me being mistaken, but the vast majority of pets seem useless (useless is probably too strong of a word, but i cant think of another one right now 😅)
This build actually looks pretty fun. If there wasn't the green snot. I really hate that. As long as that exists I'll go with Herald.
Poor boy - you really have a weaver-trauma :D
You encourage me on my consistant playstyle to try and play every class and elitespec except ele ... ;)
Think I have not tried untamed yet(shame on me) I love my druid and kinda have soulbeast for open world stuff, but this looks amazing. I'm going to make your Utamed build on my druid right away when I'm off work
what about hammer instead of mace or sw/a?
I enjoy using hammer + mace/mace due to hammer ambush not locking you in place like the axe 5 does, I believe it is a very small damage loss.
@MuklukUA-cam and what if you drop m/m for hammer? Or is m/m just too good?
@@nickverschoore4351 The mace/mace is more about extreme utility than pure damage.
It has a lot of CC
Contributes a lot of boons
Removes conditions from self
AoE healing
Barrier on self
You can swap it out if you wish but that is what you would be losing.
@@MuklukUA-cam aight, thx for the replies!
Could a variation of this work in wvw zergs, that rez could be huge
Generaly because of the conditions and damage wells you wouldnt be able to revive anyone. In most cases, the death is instant.
Lingering Magic reduces how much concentration you need on your equipment, allowing for full zerkers
Nature's Vengeance is just nice to have for doubling the power of the storm and nature spirits.
So those are the reasons I was taking Nature Magic. I have done testing with marksmanship and didn't care for it, but I haven't tried wilderness survival with this, I will have to do so!
Ok, but is it better than weaver?
And now my fav will get nerfed. Ty anyhow for all the amazing videos MUK
