No point in going that high. On the other hand, I can understand that some people want to climb with the original battery to 1000, even 1500m. And to do that, you have to hack the drone by injecting it with a modified version, which is against the law and you lose the warranty. Other brands of drones do not have the altitude limitation of DJI so head to these manufacturers instead. It would be a shame if an illegal program prevented your drone from flying. It is always at your own risk to fly your quadcopter where it is not permitted.

Are you overcharging your batteries? i see your take of voltage is higher you take of with 4.42 volt per cell. The regular volt is 4.35 volt per cell on a Lihv-battery..

this is a year ago but no matter what kind of app you have you can't do anything useful especially in modern drones. drones have their own firmware which you need to modify and I don't recommend it.

I had a Mini 2 for 6 months ago but i changed to Mavic Pro because i didnt find a way to remove this 500 meter altitude limit. So here and now i have no idea how to do it with Air and can only recomend you to change to Pro instead if you really wana fly high. But change to Pro 1 and not 2 if you change because Pro 2 are also difficult to set free from this disturbing limitations. No-Limitdrone its a good program to use. Its coast little 40 euro, but its worth it.

If you want to see volts and percent with an external, it has to be connected to the original battery pack and used with it. So I guess that's how you've done it if you have an external?

must be fake video by the egotistic Chinese, looking at their descending part, from 9044m to 5000m the cloud formation horizontal position in the camera view changed so little, there are no cloud formation can expand top to bottom of a thickness of 3000 meters, also those cloud shape and density does not look like the clouds from commercial flights usually cruising at an altitude of 12,000meters, which is not much higher than the 9044 or 9654m this rotary drone claimed, at large passenger jet altitude 10,000m-12,000m there are mostly no cloud at all, let alone having so many puffy moisture-laidden clouds. Just guessing from the clouds amount, shape and ground object size, I think its altitude is somewhat similar to the 1/10 of height the video displayed. (could have simply added one more zero to actual altitude) I highly suspect this person is faking the rotary plane altitude records trying to "proof'' the lie NASA telling that their rotary drone can liftoff from mars surface many times, under a much lower atmospheric pressure than air of 20,000meters on earth.

the drone wasn't that hig.....the height was certainly not 9044m...
must be fake video by the egotistic Chinese, looking at their descending part, from 9044m to 5000m the cloud formation horizontal position in the camera view changed so little, there are no cloud formation can expand top to bottom of a thickness of 3000 meters, also those cloud shape and density does not look like the clouds from commercial flights usually cruising at an altitude of 12,000meters, which is not much higher than the 9044 or 9654m this rotary drone claimed, at large passenger jet altitude 10,000m-12,000m there are mostly no cloud at all, let alone having so many puffy moisture-laidden clouds. Just guessing from the clouds amount, shape and ground object size, I think its altitude is somewhat similar to the 1/10 of height the video displayed. (could have simply added one more zero to actual altitude)
I highly suspect this person is faking the rotary plane altitude records trying to "proof'' the lie NASA telling that their rotary drone can liftoff from mars surface many times, under a much lower atmospheric pressure than air of 20,000meters on earth.
