Wait till you play GW1, dude! If you like lore, GW1 will hook you for weeks, if not months... I would actually advise you to play GW1, some lore in it is different than GW2, and make give you some food for thinking. Story-wise GW1 is actually superior to GW2 as the former keeps events a lot more down to earth and consolidated rather than stretch out with elder dragons nonsense like GW2 does. Pacing in GW1 is lot better too. If you haven't played GW1, it's a must for any Tyrian historian out there.
@@Liisn GW1 is fantastic. Story-wise you might like it even more than GW2. Writing there is just so much better. Also, GW2 season 3 and onward will make a lot more sense to you once you play GW1 because of all the references.

I missed the hype train with GW1, but I do plan to do it in the near future when I'm done with GW2 story. Would be excellent as a break from GW2
