I am always SS poor. I wish I had a 1k of them to spend on gold. As it is, I am spending them faster than I can earn them on legendaries and mystic weapons.
Makes sense. I’ve never done mystic weapons, so I don’t know how much they require. I assume, since you’re doing those advanced things, you’ve already capped masteries in the expansions you spend most of your effort in?
Spirit shards are the hardest to get. Gold is easy to get. I have everything u need for 21 aurene weapons but no spirit shards xD Lab Farming with full Booster give me 18 shards per hour and 50 gold. But i cant farm more then 2 hours without hurt my hands and brain xD
I’m so impressed by that. I can’t Seem to get rid of my shards xD I don’t have any suggestions that are more efficient than lab-farming seems to be, unfortunately. But when your Brain *needs* something Else, you could grab a Treasure mushroom rotation? Guarantee-drops of shards while givent xp in the HoT track which fills fast for more shards. And Defence of Tarir is good for that too. And you say with full buffs, so I assume you’re already doing the Seitung province training heart each day for the 6-hour 20% all xp buff?
@MookChivalry yes, do8ng that and Rest in Abortstone too. Tarir and mushrooms are ok, butnuncant Farm IT. Do8ng metas and daily Things inget 3 shards per day. Thats IT. Not that mich to use them dir earning gold. I actually need 1200 shards for Armor and weapon
Each mushroom is literally guaranteed to drop a shard as event-reward the first time you kill it each day. Even without the mushrooms in Dragons End and Draconis Mons, that’s 4 shards that Will take at most 40 minutes and on average 20.
I Think it depends on how you count it. When researching for my Meta Events video, i ended up with 35 Gold Per hour (including the 15 minute countdown for 22 minutes total), but counting only the 7 minutes of the event itself, that would have meant 112 Gold an hour. Mabye Wildcarts doesn’t count the full 15 minutes, or mabye his sample run was luckier than mine? 😄
That makes sense. That makes the tomes of knowledge in the Wizards Vault more attractive, since you don’t have a backlog. Assuming each spirit shard is worth 1 gold, which seems to be the case these days, that makes each wizard Buck spent on tomes worth 10 silver, which is pretty high. (I’m working on a priority-video on vault purchases right now)
I don’t shard this view, as spirit shards keep popping up from most content worth farming as a sideproduct. As I believe I mentioned in the video, I have been unable to make aserious dent in my spirit shards when I play actively. But I definitely Think, that when you’re beginning to consider a legendary, make sure to grab the spirit shard component Early so you’re not caught by surprise when you need it.
This is quite good for new/average player but absolutely terrible for really high experienced veteran. Why? Spirit shards are quite pain to get in large amount. People on top of the food chain do not screw around for couple G but rather craft one or couple leggies for sale at the same time. This is where spirit shards becomes a problem because they burn so fast and there is no good way to earn them back FAST! My tip for people that will invest the time in GW2: DO NOT WASTE SPIRIT SHARDS for some couple of funny gold! This will slow down your legy game driastically and you will hate yourself for doing it. For casuals or people not carrying about legendaries - perfect opportunity for you for quick buck, I guess..
I mostly agree with your statement. If your playstyle is *hardcore* legendary grinding and that’s your Ultimate goal, you Will absolutely be able to burn through your spirit shards. Especially since the activities you’ll be doing wont naturally generate a lot of New ones. But to me, that’s really not an attractive playstyle. It’s *too* optimized, and as I mentioned in the first video in this Series, I’m coming from the perspective of casual optimization: only do it to the point where it’s still fun for your playstyle. I might do a video on hyper-optimized legendary grind some day, but it Will be the last video in this Series, as I believe the fewest people would actually want to follow that playstyle. Though i recognize that that might be my personal bias talking 😄
That is true. If you’re extremely active in that field, there is expenditure. Though if you craft a legendary weapon every three days, you’ll be done with the 54 weapons in 162 days. Then they Can pile up ;) Note that I don’t actually know if the spirit shards put into a legendary weapon add gold-value enough to be “worth more” as that component than when spent in the mystic toilet. Very very few people will make Their legendaries at a speed where that matters though.
@@MookChivalry A few months ago, back when gen3s sold for 2200+ gold each on an instant sell I calculated that I was making roughly 2,5gold per Spirit Shard. Maybe this info will help you. Keep up the great work. Can I also interest you in a youtuber called Phandrel? He makes a youtube video about gw2 "financial news" every sunday, its really entertaining to watch.
Ur guides are the best easy to understand for a noob like me and super fast to the point
Thank you! That’s the goal, so I am happy it comes out like that in reality as well! 🥳

Good sir, i cant believe u make 50 gold per hour in lab farm because i did lab farm and only get 17 gold for an hour, tell me your way sir

Legendary armor ruined me. Ive got no spirit shards

If you plan getting legendaries eventually, dont sell spirit shards for fast profit

I wish I had enough spirit shards to do this, but if you craft a legendary weapon every 2-3 days you always sit at zero :(
