I'm an Englishman and have been to Southern Ireland (ROI if preferred) multiple times. Have never even considered NI (apart from NW200). Definitely will after this content. Well done Saffy
Your opening dialogues are beautiful and brilliant. Your videos and your adventures are FUN. Don't let something going wrong get you down. I HATE to see you cry
I absolutely love your intros to your adventures! They are spectacular! I loved riding around Northern Ireland, it is truly a magical place. Beautiful video!
Saffy Sprocket, still the only poetry I listen to…. And I look forward to it and even miss it on occasion… Saffy, love your spirit and determination and it is refreshing to hear you again and see your out and about on your bike…. Giggle on and of course it is almost entirely your fault!!! You went on the journey most wont and for that, we salute you!
We'd never been to Ireland until a few weeks ago. We travelled through Northern Ireland to get down to the Republic and do part of the Wild Atlantic Way. I wish we had spent longer in NI as it was a real surprise just how lovely it was, particularly the Sperrin AONB. We will return to explore a bit more 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words and support, Mark! It feels great to be back on the road, and I'm thrilled to share the journey with you. Here's to many more adventures ahead! 🌟🏍️😊
If you fancy an adventure. We off to the Dolomites via Holland Germany Austria Switzerland onto the Stelvio pass and onto the Dolomites . Setting of Friday the 7th June . You’re welcome to come along if you have the time . 👍👍
Stunning scenery, empty roads (until Belfast anyway) and cheap food . What more could you ask for? I must do Northern Ireland. I've only done the south west (which is also beautiful). Love the image of the smuggler's boat at @6:55
Welcome to the North Coast Saffy. One of the most beautiful parts of Ireland as I am sure you discovered. I was up there last week myself on my bike from Larne along the coast road to Carnlough. Water foot. Glenarm. Cushendall Ballycastle and on up to Dunluce Castle and Portrush. I never tire of it. Very popular with bikers. I'm lucky to live just an hour away
It's nice to see your adventures, it looks like the new Shad luggage system did it's job. I look forward to your next installments. X I hope you are doing ok. X
Non Iron…. Co Antrim - my childhood home. God’s little acre ❤️ ride safe. I’ll be riding those very roads in a month or so. Looking forward to next video 👍
I'm currently taking my license and hopefully should be done around the end of june, and i hope i will be able to ride around Norway and see the country i grew up in as you did! I absolutely adore you! Not a lot of people are be brave enough to ride around solo on these adventures as you do, but that is one of the things that makes you special. Keep doing what you are doing, i love every second of every video you post🤩 And i wish you the very best, and i hope that you will come visit our country again - love from Norway🥰
You just drove through my home town, and local spots, Gyles Quay, Carlingford, Newry. You missed NW200 road races by two weeks 🫣. Coastal road next, cushendal, cushendun, bushmills, carrickaree giants causeway. Loads to do, sorry about the ☔
Petrol Stations in Ireland are really good for proper food. Like lunches and dinners or anything else in between. Look out for the bigger new ones. Have fun.
Something I only found out recently that I thought I’d mention incase you didn’t know as you take a lot of ferries, make sure you leave your bike in gear as it stops the movement of the ship causing the bike to move forward and off its side stand.
That was a better intro to selling this place than anything the N.I. Tourist Board produced. 😎 If you get the chance, you ought to try one of Pat Shortt's Jumbo Breakfast Rolls. Still a bargain after all these years! 😂👍
Another great video. What bike do you ride now, it appears to keep changing. I now ride a KTM 390 Adventure as it's capable of handling on and off road really well. Also, it's not too heavy to pick up should I end up dropping it. I have lived and ridden in England, Scotland. New New Zealand but now live in Australia (Victoria) and we have some awesome roads. Keep up the great work, I love your self-talk coaching yourself when things go sideways!
Thanks, Mark! I’m currently riding a SV650, - I like to mix it up ! Thanks for the support and kind words. Keep those wheels turning and ride safe! 🏍️🌍😊
Welcome to my home Northern Ireland, I hope the weather was kind to you, looking forward to the second part of the video and I hope you enjoyed yourself, if your ever in any need while here I could offer assistance anytime as I'm a retired ( over 66 ) rider, Cheers John
@patrickkeating7074 Great question, Patrick! 🌟 I was super excited to hit the open road, but don't worry, I'll cover Dublin and Southern Ireland in an upcoming video! Stay tuned! ☘️🏍️📹
Saaaaaaaammmmeeee, gonna black mail yourself with a little treaty treat sometimes. Go for a ride, get a coffee and a cake, take a camera, make some cute selfies for the gram. Maybe the bike you're riding isn't the right bike for you too
Thank you for your comment back. Ah thank you for encouraging 😊 i love.my bike its a beautiful sports bike and i know not comfortable but once i moving it so easy to drive well i am like snail 🤣 . Hopefully i will be more and more braver!
The Poetry sets the mood and I absolutely love it… sometimes in the opening sometimes in the middle or end… but she is so expressive in that format it conveys what is lost in the giggles we all adore too… She’s a package… She’s a riot!
I enjoy watching you touring, poetry, exploring, exploring, humour and wits. That's why we are traveling!
Glad you enjoy it!
Northern Ireland is just beautiful, and no one ever seems to talk about it - thanks for sharing this Saffy
It's such an under rated place, it's like a little tropical island

The coastal road from Larne to benone is amazing and the views are stunning, did it many moons ago,to do the snakebite rally 😁🏴

Thank you 😊😊😊😊
That was a brave beginning and pausing when you’ve ridden enough is brilliant.
🥰 thank you, I'm learning to go at a slower pace!
It makes a wonderful change to see you happy and relaxed and experiencing a place instead of wizzing by,
have fun Saffy 🤗😘
Thank you. I really enjoyed this video. Amazing what a bit of sunshine can do. You seem to be enjoying it.

What you had labelled as belfast is actaully Newry, can see your outside the buttercrane centre. Still about 40miles away from belfast.
Ahhhh! I did go through Belfast but I probably used the wrong footage 😭😅 it was stressful driving through the rush hour 🤯
Id love to go back to Ireland Saffy , I envy you being there at the moment ,take care ,keep on keeping on .
