- The Texas Workforce Commission announced they’re receiving federal funds to provide disaster unemployment assistance for all employees in any field who missed work.
No way I'm eating at a restaurant right after a week long power outage
Nope. Ain’t eating out until months later. That food is spoiled.
Who would have ever guessed that having an unregulated power grid would be a problem? Maybe that’s why Texas is the only state with this problem. Other states regulate their grids.
Yet the regulated grid that powers California has 3 times the outages. Not very bright are you.
Not sure where you are from. I’m from VA been through six hurricanes and lost power for 12 days.
Some businesses may want to eventually invest in getting a generator that keeps the lights on...ppl were looking for places to eat
There you go, keep enabling... That'll get things improved..... 😂
You can be open doesn’t mean people will have a way of getting there
Here in the California desert, pretty much every restaurant has a generator hooked up to the refrigerators and freezers. They turn on automatically when needed. Surprised that Texan restaurants don’t do that given the state's long history of failures with that unregulated grid.
