I already have the moza r5 but i watched the video to see if you would drift with it, and you didn't disappoint. I get asked occasionally about budget wheels and I feel like i can recommend this to folks now :)
Hahaha I was going to do a separate video but said nahhhh. It drifts GREAT! Shame it’s not a round rim. But the motor could easily handle a larger diameter for drifting.
Thanks a lot for the great content! Any chance you can share the final settings you went with for the Cammus software with Assetto Corsa? I'd actually like a reference for what you were feeling through the wheel so I can try the same track and car combo.
I couldn't catch the name. What's the make/model of the rig? Did they design that sweet adjustable wheel mount that moved up/down so easily? I want to know!
I got slagged off for how close I put the monitor to my C5 but it's just such an advantage of the design to be able to get so much fov and natural wheel placement.
This has my interest. What kind of a good budget pedal set would you pair with these? Be nice to upgrade from my Thrustmaster T300RS without blowing the bank
I’d go for the Fanatec CSL Elite v2 pedals. Or the simforge mark 3. I am going to review the new moza CRP2 pedals in the coming weeks so they might be an option too
@JoeGaffey I'd probably sell on my T300RS when I get a new wheel. Plus at the moment my brake pedal spring is gone and I have a bicycle tube tied to it to keep it working haha
Can't wait for the c12 review
Same! Very excited about that now
Great review man! Been testing the C12 recently, and gosh, it's impressive.
I can’t wait to try it

I always love youg reviews 🎉
Cheers! Thanks for the support!
Wow that's a pretty interesting design!
Yeah it changes the FOV options people have too
Learned to drift on my C5 after struggling on a T300. Really great wheel for the money.
Excellent stuff. Testimonials like yours really give credibility to my videos. Thanks for taking the time Joe ❤️

It’s an ASR PRO rig from advancedsimracing. Full video coming up about that too
Hey, did I hear you saying using a new simrig? What is the seat you are using now? What was the one before? Do you like this new one?
This is the same o-rouge seat. The cooled one. The rig itself is new though
@@LaurenceDusoswa sorry. Brain fart. Meant to ask about the rig. Please
it’s an advanced sim racing ASR PRO rig. I have a discount code here ;) laurencedusoswa.com/affiliate-links/?search=asr
According to instruction diagram, the fan goes inside the table mounting bracket. But will be good to see if a fan is needed in the long term.
It gets got. But I’ve not managed to overheat it yet. It has an auto cutoff but nothing yet. I need to check if the fan is dynamic/noisy though
Just a heads up.... If you have a rig to mount this to, you don't need the clamp. You can mount directly using the arms out the back 👍
yep! I like the little bit of angle though as my ASR Pro doesn't allow for any angle. but it's a good shout for some rigs

yep 100%. If FOV and immersion is important, this form factor is great!
looks like an XT60 connector from the RC car world on that PSU
I dunno! Not my area :) I do love RC but not hardcore enough to know the connector you’re referring to
Bonsoir,le mieux G923, Cammus C5,Moza R5 ou Csldd quel est le meilleur.?. merci 😊
For me, CSL DD is good because you can bring it to 8Nm. R5 has lots of high quality rim options. C5 is cheap but very functional.
@@LaurenceDusoswa merci pour vos conseils 😉
@@sergehercot-gh4io vous êtes les bienvenus
@@LaurenceDusoswa merci a vous,je regarde couramment vos tests sur le matériel sim. 😗

Or keep the Thrustmater pedals. I use my C5 with T3PMs using the usb adapter available on the TM store.

Great video and a surprise to see your reaction… I think the design is what would put me off, but great value based on your review
Excellent value yeah. A very solid first impression and a pretty polished little product. A superb option for entering into direct drive.
It's so good tbh
Seriously surprising bit of kit. It’s looks like a toy but it’s a great force feedback experience for the money
Not bad for € 265 with your code and from a Spanish magazine ;)
Hahaha yeah it’s super cheap!
I was tempted, but itty bitty flappy paddles is questionable, but the D-wheel.. ehhh suboptimal for ralley
Yeah. C12 review incoming though ;)
Super dope
Very cool product
Please do beamNG drifting with it
I don’t have it installed but I can’t imagine it being bad at it. AC drifting is my benchmark
Thing is it's 5nm continuous torque not peak like other brands.
Oh really? I don’t have the tools to measure but that’s interesting
@@LaurenceDusoswa I saw a German youtuber measure it at between 8 and 9 nm peak IIRC.
Ye I got stickers with mine
Yeah I got like 7 or 8 😂
