Hahahahaha. The wheel l which does not exist except in prototype form and which Fanatec will never release since after being bought by Corsair, they have other things to worry about than releasing an overpriced steering wheel. We will first have to clean up the accounts
Indeed, but ‘akshually’ it is based loosly on the Porsche Vision GT steering wheel. It more of a luxury hypercar wheel, than a purebred race car wheel. However the dash paired with dash editor opens up a lot a possibilities, even if it (still) lacks Simhub support. A new feature is also having telemetry options for the rev lights (for flags, etc.) and having the button LEDs be configurable via Pithouse rather than via button presses (as per the KS). I could see an FSR V2 or V3 getting similar features, as well as future stand-alone dashboards.
Fanatec seem to have invented their own timeframe which is measured in fractions of a century 😬 The wheel looks pretty good @LaurenceDusoswa. I definitely agree about SimHub and perhaps an open architecture but nice to see some interesting new wheels!
Leave it to Moza to innovative the market and make it more competitive and diverse, last time they came out with a truck wheel and now this. Boy are we glad that Moza exists
Another great impression vid. Really do like the look and the buttons on the back. If it wasn't for me being a VR driver, I would really consider picking up one just for the look. One question I have is would it be compatible with my simagic base? I know the quick release would work, but does it have a USB plug? Was "multitasking" while watching...
Don't you need a power brick for the universal hub as well though? How about telemetry compatibility with different games? Or only a few games supported like it was before. @@LaurenceDusoswa
I think you summed it up by saying it’s a bit of a gimmick. The screen is nice but it is gimmicky and for the price I think you could spend your money more wisely.
@@dauntae24 I also wanted to switch to Simagic, having a Moza R16, after reading various comments about the superiority of ffb from Simagic. After buying the Simagic Alpha and driving it for three days, I returned it because I didn't notice any difference with the Moza R16.
Interesting feedback yeah. See the r16 and r21 are a different motor to the r5 to r12 lineup. R16 has great ffb and any differences, if they exist, are miniscule
nice wheel, but for me KS was expensive as hell, this is another universe...in my case it definitely doesnt worth the price, in the end its a "joystic" that work same as GS/KS, especially for avg driver like me....
Yeah I guess the KS is excellent value though. It’s difficult to compete with that without bringing lots of advantages to the table. The KS is a great wheel
Interesting rim for sure, not sure if it's the most functional, but definitely liking Moza's effort and willingness to try something different!
yeah it's not lacking functionality as far as I can see anyways. It's cool to see moza try new things.
Ayo- We got the Bentley wheel from Moza before Fanatec.
Literally my first thoughts. That Bentley wheel might as well be vaporware at this point.

Facts!

100%! The competitors must be worried by how quickly and how well moza can release these products
You look well and healty Laurence, nice to see. The wheel looks pretty good too.
Nice wheel, seems to be well executed. Moza are definitely here to stay👍🏻
Yep definitely! It’s class to see them trying something new and exciting anyways

Yep! With the little universal adapter, it works with all bases! There’s no USB plug. But there is a cable that goes to the
Universal hub.

Ty for the review! Honest opinion it looks like a 500-550$ wheel to me.
It’s special. Not for everyone but it has a nice air to it, like a designer watch
Two in 24 hours! We are getting spoiled🎉
I have 20 videos that are almost complete :p
Pretty cool. I know what wheel we will see on stream then.
Hahaha yep :) see you there
hey lorance - when i first saw it i didn't like the looks of it and the more i look at it the more i like it
Yeah I think I feel the same
@@LaurenceDusoswa lol
so clean
It's pretty tidy

Great wheel, crazy price.
I seem to be one of the only ones that doesn't like the design of it, I far prefer the GS wheel. Quality looks pretty good though
Nah you’re not alone. Lots of division about it. While I think it’s really nice looking, I’m not sure if I’d buy one.

What are the specs of your pc or can you do a sim rig setup
New peddals and a new steering wheel somebody is going to be buzzing on tonights stream.. Moza are making me think did i do right by buying Simagic..
I went from Moza to Simagic. You made the right choice imo.

Hahaha you can’t really go far wrong with either to be honest. It’s very easy to find things to love about both brands
Oh yeah? I love to hear more about these stories. What wheelbase did you upgrade from/to?

It looks super cool and all, but I race in VR so a lot of the fancy stuff does me no good whatsoever.
Yeah I can imagine. It’s excessive if you’re in VR
Moza dropped a BoMB 😮
Yup! Pretty cool to see them pushing the envelope
of the 4 the vgs looks very toy like and certainly not anywhere near its outrageous price
It’s like something out of a hypercar though rig it? I like that they’ve tried something new
@@LaurenceDusoswa its good to see innovation, but I think the styling is missing, as you said, backlighting in some places could have been added
I honestly super dig this wheel. It really stands out among the majority of sim wheels you tend to see. Happy to see Moza succeeding.
Prezel.
Hahaha many people have said this 😂
Should’ve been 300mm 😩
300 or even 290 would be perfect for sure. But it seems that they know the market quite well these days
@@LaurenceDusoswa No doubt. It's pretty striking regardless.
