I have Pajero IV, and for sure, it can go that route much easier. Just trust in your car, fix 1st gear, and let it go. Playing with accelerator like only hurts gearbox. Articulation of Pajero rear wheels is about 40cm (1 wheel squeezed and opposite one dropped down).
I also have the Pajero 4, 17MY. Its diesel engine is great with its big torque. Some people say that the diesel engine is noisy. But the noisy sound makes me feel I am driving a strong 4*4 vehicle

Its very complicated comparison. Toyota has plus in many things but minus in some other things as well as Pajero has. It depends on what terrain you are driving and what is the criteria to elaborate the results.
In this video the Pajero rely on the traction control (rear differential lock was not activated). But on the land cruiser prado the diff lock is activated from the begining that's why it runing smoother on this rocky track.
Mohamed Gaaloul bullshit! I’m an owner of a standard Prado 120 series and it never came with lockers. a rear locker only comes since the 150 series replaced the 120 series. The reasons why the Prado is more capable are: 1. A ladder frame (body on frame) as an opposed to the Pajero which has a monocoque frame. 2. Longer wheel travel in the Prado.

A monocoque body can get a suspension with a massive wheel travel and provides the same level of off-roading capacity as a ladder frame. Actually on the Pajero the suspension travel are mainly limited by shock absorbers in order to get better stability on road and highways. We just replaced the shock absorbers on the Pajero 3 by the LC 200 ones. They fit direcly on the Pajero and the wheel travel gain was huge!!
2 reasons why the Land Cruiser Prado is more capable: 1. It has a body on frame/ladder frame so it has more flex than the monocoque frame of the Pajero. 2. It has a longer wheel travel than the Pajero.

Furthermore Pajero driver lacks of: knowledge about his car, "off-road" (" as this isn't off-road) driving skills. With Pajero Traction Control you can drive this track by "hardest" line and not stop on wheel lifts where I've often found this Prado model TC doesn't cope best with wheel lifts. It gains here by better driver and rear solid axle. But twist Prado axles to cross lift wheels and its reputation get ruined. Rear diff-locks changes story - but on both cars.
This is not pedal modulation. The pajero goes in 1rst gear(manual trans), low range and idle for sure. It use to happen to me in some situations using diesel and real low range.

It does not matter if the car has frame or it's monocoque. It's the suspension that played the main role here.

I think Pajero was manual so even a Cruiser manual would be slight difficult to drive as automatic performs best on offroad. This is a fact.
