No one had ever enjoyed the level of fame he did before he arrived, and he stayed there for three decades in spite of all the other major talents who came along. I read once in the 70's that "There are three American phenoms that are internationally recognizable; Elvis, Superman, and Mickey Mouse; and only one of them is human." He sang everything; rock, country, gospel, and many Spanish, Italian, German, and Irish standards. My three favorite Elvis songs are; In the Ghetto (studio version), Change of Habit, and I Love You Because.
His impact will going to stay for ever and ever and ever
And this was live !!!
