I know Scott will never read this, but I just had to say this is truly amazing, I’m so serious, this is truly wonderful. I cried throughout the song, half of happiness because it gives me hope that one day my social anxiety will go away, but half of sadness because it reminds me of all my missed opportunities due to it. It got so bad that I had to be taken out of school in the middle of my sophomore year. I’m a senior now, still homeschooled, and still suffering. I don’t know how my life will be a few years down the road, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to stop looking back, and start looking forward. Okay I love this song and even though no one probably reads this, I gotta share a memory that I just randomly remembered thanks to this song.
I've never been able to talk to teachers at school, I don't remember a single time I raised my hand in class. One time in maybe 8th grade my teacher raised her voice at me cause she was pissed I forgot my notebook. I already told her at the beginning of the lesson but she started to criticize me in front of the whole class cause apparently she forgot that I already told her I didn't have the notebook with me. I was literally about to cry and my friends started to talk for me cause they knew I was about to break down and that the teacher had no reason to bring up one god damn notebook in the middle of the class. It's the most stupid thing but now after 5 years I remember how my friends helped me more that they'll ever know.

I know Scott will never read this, but I just had to say this is truly amazing, I’m so serious, this is truly wonderful. I cried throughout the song, half of happiness because it gives me hope that one day my social anxiety will go away, but half of sadness because it reminds me of all my missed opportunities due to it. It got so bad that I had to be taken out of school in the middle of my sophomore year. I’m a senior now, still homeschooled, and still suffering. I don’t know how my life will be a few years down the road, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to stop looking back, and start looking forward.
